  I am currently programming a Visual C# service to receive emails from various sources then I take certain info and organize it in a database using Regex to retrieve the deferent cell values (such as header, body, problem, cost, etc.etc.). My problem is that I am currently using a Hotmail account to email the service which the service then extracts data and writes it to a csv file; however this is all going fine an dandy except for the fact that the text is formated so when there is a "\n" or something of the sort, the program decides to not input the data that follows that into the cell.   I've got an image on the page (class='image') within the div (class='galleria_wrapper') and want to place a caption (class='caption') at the lower right corner under that image. The image could be vertical or horizontal, and making a fixed padding-right value let's say .caption<{float:right;padding-top:5px;padding-right:90px;} is not working for one or another. I need to switch on the fly padding-right value depending on horizontal or vertical image is currently on the page. I can theoretically access image's width through document.getElementByName('image').width although don't understand where to put that code. So, I probably need something like that: document.getElementByClass('caption').padding-right = (document.getElementByName('galleria_wrapper').width - document.getElementByName('image').width)/2 Where do I put this code? I do have that in my css file: .caption{float:right;padding-top:5px;} which places the caption below the image, but to far to the right (div 'galleria_wrapper' is wider than most of the images supposed to be displayed within that area). I have an img tag in the html: <img src=image title='this is caption' /></li> ...and some JavaScript which makes title displayed styled by the "caption" css definition. How do I assign variable value for the padding-right without in-advance knowledge of particular image's width?

  I have been working on this and cannot get this iterator to work.   hi everyone Is it possible to save text of textarea (flash 10, as3, cs5) in some variable or so and with its textformat (more than one color) and then reuse it to replace text in textarea? I tried saving htmlText of textarea but the problem is when i replace it in textarea tags causes problem. There will always be another extra line. • Android crashes when calling ImageButton

  I have a crash (Application Stopped Unexpectedly) problem with this main.xml is a "HelloWorld" type project (while testing and learning features I need for my app) : I isolated the ImageButton as an issue, but I can't isolate any of the parameters... <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" > <ImageButton android:id="@+id/picture" android:layout_width="240dip" android:layout_height="180dip" android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal" android:src="@drawable/icon" android:adjustViewBounds="true" android:cropToPadding="true" android:clickable="true" android:scaleType="fitCenter" /> </LinearLayout> icon.png exists in my resources... I can see the preview in the Layout tab, even though the image is not centered on the button, but I read that it was normal. The code below works fine (as a regular Button). • Accounting System for Winforms / SQL Server applications

  If you were going to write a vertical market C# / WinForms / SQL Server application and needed an accounting "engine" for it, what software package would you chose ? By vertical market, I mean the application is intended to solve a particular set of business problems, not be a generic accounting application. Thus the value add of the program is the 70% of non-accounting related functionality present in the finished product. The 30% of accounting functionality is merely to enable the basic accounting needs of the business. I said all that to lead up to this: The accounting engine needs to be a royalty-free runtime license and not super expensive. I've found a couple C#/SQL Server accounting apps that can be had with source code and a royalty free run time for $150k+ and that would be fine for greenfield development funded by a large bankroll, but for smaller apps, that sort of capital outlay isn't feasible. Something along the lines of $5k to $15k for a royalty-free runtime would be more reasonable. Open-source would be even better. By accounting engine, I mean something that takes care of at a minimum: General Ledger Invoices Statements Accounts Receivable Payments / Credits Basically, an accounting engine should be something that lets the developer concentrate on the value added (industry specific business best practices / processes) part of the solution and not have to worry about how to implement the low level details of a double entry accounting system. Ideally, the accounting engine would be something that is licensed on a royalty free run-time basis. Suggestions, please ?

• SL 3 navigation not working!

  Hey Guys I converted all my existing Silverlight app UserControls to Pages so I could use the Navigation Framework. Anyway so I created a UserControl called MyFrame, which would host all the pages. • iPhone: TableView inside UIScrollview, show vaccillating scrollbars around

  Hi, I have added some table and other vies in a scrollview. scrolling in tables are working fine. But in the parent scrollview, when scrolling, a vacillating vertical scrollbars are shown, sometimes it even come to the middle of the screen. sometime show at the left side of the screen. and not limited to the vertical scrollbar region. When I set tje showsVerticalScrollIndicator = NO, it is not shown. But do you know why the scrollbar is moving around. • Where's the Win32 resource for the mouse cursor for dragging splitters?

  I am building a custom win32 control/widget and would like to change the cursor to a horizontal "splitter" symbol when hovering over a particular vertical line in the control. IE: I want to drag this vertical line (splitter bar) left and right (WEST and EAST). Of the the system cursors (OCR_*), the only cursor that makes sense is the OCR_SIZEWE. Unfortunately, that is the big, awkward cursor the system uses when resizing a window. Instead, I am looking for the cursor that is about 20 pixels tall and around 3 or 4 pixel wide with two small arrows pointing left and right. I can easily draw this and include it as a resource in my application but the cursor itself is so prevalent that I wanted to be sure it wasn't missing something. For example: when you use the COM drag and drop mechanism (CLSID_DragDropHelper, IDropTarget, etc) you implicitly have access to the "drag" icon (little box under the pointer). I didn't see an explicit OCR_* constant for this guy ... so likewise, if I can't find this splitter cursor outright, I am wondering if it is part of a COM object or something else in the win32 lib.

• CSS sliding-door buttons center alignment

  Hi guys, I need help to align CSS buttons. I tried many different variations and I just cannot center my button the way I want. Firstly, have a look at this url: http://www.front-end-developer.net/cssbuttons/example.htm I'm using 2 images to form a button (this could be done on 1 image, but in this case we've got two). Everything works as expected as long as we apply float:left or float:right to the parent div element, to 'limit' width of the div and close it as soon as the content of the div ends. You can remove float:left from the button to see what I mean. But what about center positioned buttons? I cannot add float:left/right because I want align it in the middle. In theory, I could set { width:XXpx; margin:0 auto; } And I will get what you can see on this picture: But I don't know the length of the text inside. Having different translations my button can be very short, or 5 times that long. I also tried to use <span> instead of <div>, but unfortunately nested inline elements don't respect their padding correctly... And yes, I must use <a> inside, so buttons can be accessed by web crawlers. I'm really stuck on this one.

• Javascript not able to read data generated by ajax script

  I have a situation in which my Jquery Ajax script generates HTML table. And another script is meant to filter the table column by providing a dropdown comprising of unique values in that particular column. If i have static content in html page the filter script works fine. But is not able to read table content when it is generated via Ajax that is during runtime. Any idea what could be the reason.   Hi guys, i'm trying to make a "update user's power" page. It is something similar to those you can find in say, invisionfree forums. I need it to generate a list of members with checkbox [done] Add an option for it [done] What i don't know how to do is to update, to say, give all the selected users the selected power. Then i went searching for something and found most of them uses array to do this, but i never found one that actually explains how it works.
