• How to represent double values as circles in a 2d matrix in java

  Hello, so I want to write a matrix explorer which enables me to reorder rows and columns of a matrix. For this porpouse I used the Jtable class. Now the problem that I have is that it is very difficult to reorder a matrix by looking at double values, so I would like to print the matrix not with the double values but with circles in which the radius of the circle represents the value. So that I can tell the difference between big values and small values quicker. Anybody has any idea how I can turn this double values into filled circles with JTable or any table class for that matter?

  I am using SQLite as my db during development, and I want to postpone actually creating a final database until my domains are fully mapped.   I have started to look at Event-Based Components (EBCs), a programming method currently being explored by Ralf Wesphal in Germany, in particular. This is a really interesting and promising way to architect a software solution, and gets close to the age-old idea of being able to stick software components together like Lego :) A good starting point is the Channel 9 video here, and there is a fair bit of discussion in German at the Google Group on EBCs. I am however looking for more concrete examples - while the ideas look great, I am finding it hard to translate them into real code for anything more than a trivial project. Does anyone know of any good code examples (in C# preferably), or any more good sites where EBCs are discussed?

  I'm looking for a simple and efficient way to store UTF-8 strings in ASCII-7. With efficient I mean the following: all ASCII chars in the input should stay ASCII chars in the output the resulting string should be as short as possible the operation needs to be reversable without any data loss there should be no restriction on the input length the whole UTF-8 range should be allowed My first idea was to use Punycode (IDNA) as it fits the first three requirements, but it fails at the last two. Can anyone recommend an alternative encoding scheme? Even better if there's some code available to look at.

  I've got a .net button that has an href attribute value set to 'javascript:WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions("ctl00$cp1$ucInvoiceSearch$btnSearch", "", true, "", "", false, true))'. I've got a textbox that when I press enter I want it to fire this event. Doing the 'Enter' event isn't an issue but I can't get the event on the href to fire using .click(). Here's my function so far: $("[id*='tbInvNo']").keyup(function(event){ var $btn = $(".pnl-invoice-search"); if(event.keyCode == 13) $btn.click(); }); I've got no idea how to get this to fire. In my NSManagedObjectModel i am using three entities that are Class, Student and Score where class and student have one-to-many & inverse relationship and Student and Score have also inverse but one-one relationship. Score entity has all optional attributes and having default '0' decimalVaue, which is not assigned at the time new Student is added. But later i want to assign them score individually and also to particular attribute not all of score attributes in a go. I am able to create and add Students to particular Class but dont have any idea how to call particular student and assign them score. For example I want to assign Score'attribute "dribbling" [there are many attributes like "tackling"] a decimal value to Student "David" of Class "Soccer" ,how i can do that? Normally, as soon as the variable goes out of scope, the form is closed: var form = new SuperDuperForm(); form.Show(); // Form has probably been closed instantly I don't want to have to keep track of instances of the form, I want it so that when the user closes the form, it is disposed. One idea I've had that I'm going to implement is a kind of controller that I use to open and display forms, that will keep track of them and monitor when they are closed via callbacks.   I am creating a simple blog as part of a website and I am getting stuck on something that I am assuming is simple. If I call any blog post, say by it's title, from a queryset, how can I get the entry before and after the post in it's published order. I can iterate over the whole thing, get the position of the entry I have and use that to call the one before and the one after. But that is a long bit of code for something that I am sure I can do more simply. What I want would be something like this: next_post = Posts.object.filter(title=current_title).order_by("-published")[-1] Of course because of the filter, it is not going to work, but just to give you the idea of what I am looking for.

I know there are tools such as baksmali / smali to disassemble / re-assemble given classes.dex from .apk, but not sure limitation what could be modified from there on? I'm trying to add additional activity, to modify starting launcher activity (may be from androidmanifest.xml) from original apk, then re-pack and sign to make complete single .apk... all need to be done out of build time, no raw source or build structure visible, only .apk as input... I assume that because each invocation is on a different thread that Rhino Mocks loses track of the object? Pseudocode: var someStub = MockRepository.GenerateStub() Parallel.Foreach(collectionOfInts, anInt => someStub.DoSomething(anInt)) someStub.AssertWasCalled(s => s.DoSomething, Repeat.Five.Times) This test will return an expectation violation, expecting the stub to be called 5 times but being actually called 0 times.   I have a three level database with the following structure (simplified to only show the primary keys): Table A: a_id Table B: a_id, b_id Table C: a_id, b_id, c_id So possible values for table C would be something like this: a_id b_id c_id 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 3 1 2 1 1 2 2 2 1 1 2 2 1 2 2 2 ... I am now unsure, how foreign keys should be set; or if they should be set for the primary keys at all. My idea was to have a foreign key on table B B.a_id -> A.a_id, and two foreign key on C C.a_id -> A.a_id and ( C.a_id, C.b_id ) -> ( B.a_id, B.b_id ). Is that the way I should set up the foreign keys? Is the foreign key from C->A necessary? Or do I even need foreign keys at all given that all those columns are part of the primary keys? Thanks.
