• Program not running from expected directory?

  I am working on a web-based program, using Java. I am not sure exactly how to phrase this, but I expect the program to be running from within the c:/Resin/webapps/apps directory. However, when I reference a file in the program like this: "../files/randomfile.pdf", it cannot find that file. It works when I reference it like this: "c:/Resin/webapps/files/randomfile.pdf". How to I change the "running location"? (And what is the technical term for this?)

  I use wampserver2.1 php5.3.3, I found session_regenerate_id(true) not work in my script,document says when I set the parameter 'delete_old_sessions' true, there should be a new sid and all the session variables should be deleted, but the fact is after the function, $_session[abc] is still there. did I misunderstand the function,what is my problem?   Hello, I'm trying to run LVL on my app but I'm getting this error when debugging on my phone: ERROR/LicenseChecker(29924): Could not bind to service. I tried on emulator too and I'm getting the same error, so I decided investigate on LicenseChecker.java and I changed: boolean bindResult = mContext.bindService( new Intent(ILicensingService.class.getName()), this, // ServiceConnection. Context.BIND_AUTO_CREATE); to: boolean bindResult = mContext.bindService( new Intent("com.android.vending.licensing.ILicensingService"), this, // ServiceConnection. • Zoom controls not showing when using a MapView with fill_parent

  Hey everyone I am working on an applications and I am using the built in zoom controls. When using a specific size I can see the zoom controls. When using fill_parent the zoom controls are not visible. How it is setup is a mapview inside of a frame layout(also using fill parent for the height and width but with an offset down the screen. The only thing I can think of is the fill parent issue is with the framelayout and the zoom controls are off the screen. Sorry if this is confusing, I confused myself writing it. Thanks in advance

  Is it at all possible, from within an AsyncTask that is NOT an inner class of the calling Activity class, to get a reference to the instance of Activity that initiated execution of the AsyncTask? I am aware of this thread, however it doesn't exactly address how to reference the calling Activity. Some suggest passing a reference to the Activity as a parameter to the AsyncTask constructor, however, it's reported that doing so will always result in a NullPointerException. So, I'm at a loss. My AsyncTask provides robust functionality, and I don't want to have to duplicate it as an inner class in every Activity that wants to use it. There must be an elegant solution.

  Do Hibernate Projection aliases even work? I could swear it just doesn't. At least, it doesn't do what I would expect it to do.   I am using navgoco.js and angular js in an application and I have following html <div id="demo"> <ul > <li ng-repeat ... > <a href="#"> ... </a> ...... </li> </ul> </div> js code $j("#demo1").navgoco({accordion: false}); It is supposed to do some expand-collapse of menus. the problem is that navgoco events are not performing on clicking on anchor. It simply adds # to url. In the rendered html of anchor tag, anuglar is adding ng-binding that may be the problem. Please help.

This works fine, however, I had trouble at first, instead of using myCards = new List(); to 'reset' myCards, I would use myCards.clear(), however, once I called the clear function, I would not be able to call myCards.add() or myCards.addRange(). The count would stay at zero. Is my current approach good? Is using LINQ to sort my cards good/bad?

  Hi, I have a web page that is generated with Access 2003 and uses Office Web Components. It worked fine with IE6 and IE7 but does not work anymore with IE8. Here are more details. I create an MSODSC component and a WSH object to get my ConnectionString in the registry. Then the Dropdown Lists are fed by a request to the database. It works perfect with IE6 and IE7, works locally with IE8 but if the page is served by IIS to IE8, the drop down lists are empty. Can anyone help me ? Thanks Mactov It was just a security issue. I had put my site in the confidence zone (according to the error message). I transfered it into intranet zone and it works perfect.

  I have two tables Boxer and Prospect. Boxers has general stuff like name and and dob etc and a BoxerId While Prospect contains only one value (at the moment) which is a boxerId. If a boxer is a prospect(up and coming boxer) there Id will be in the prospect table. This works fine but now I want to select all boxers that are prospects public static IQueryable<Boxer> IsProspect(this IQueryable<Boxer> query) { //this does not filter down to only prospects!!! return query.Where(x => x.Prospect != null); } This is the function I call using: var repository = GetRepository<Boxer>(); var boxers = repository.Query().IsProspect(); I would hope this would filter my collection of all boxers down to just boxers that are prospects! Oddly it doesnt filter it but if i hover over my boxers object and look at each boxer during debugging I can see "IsProspect" true or false correctly

  Hi- I have a website I created in VS2010 and am trying to run with IIS7. My website starts in all major browsers but for some reason the styles are not applied even though I've confirmed using Firebug that the stylesheets have indeed loaded. Also, when I use the inspect tool to click on an element, I can see in the right-side box the specific styles that are supposed to be applied. I thought this might be a permissions issue but I think I've got those set properly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  I've got an entity with a few properties that gets used a lot in my Hibernate/GWT app. For the most part, everything works fine, but Hibernate refuses to load one of the properties. It doesn't appear in the query, despite being annotated correctly in the entity.   I'm pretty new to jquery, but I have a tab structure working and make a $.getJSON call to retrieve the JSON results from the backend. Now, I have 3 tabs: Tab1, Tab2 and Tab3. All the three tabs have the same divs but different content. The content shows up just fine in the first tab which is shown by default, but on clicking the 2nd tab, I make the same $.getJSON call and retrieve the JSON just fine, the same HTML is being constructed on the fly and set in the DIV within the tab but it is not being displayed... Any pointers??

  Trying to put up a "Do you want to save"-dialog when trying to close window with close-button in taskbar thumbnail in windows 7(with aero peek active). Using MessageBox() when processing WM_CLOSE does not work. MessageBox won't show until you move mouse cursor outside thumbnail so aero peek is disabled. Lots of applications have this buggy behaviour so it's probably a design flaw in Windows 7, but for some programs it works (Word, Notepad, Visual Studio, ...), so I'm wondering what trick they are using(or what it takes to "exit" aero peek-mode programmatically). The small "Sound Recorder" application that comes with Windows 7 has the same problem (if you have recorded something without saving and try to close it using thumbnail close-button)...
