    Hey guys i have done a game in cocos2d.And now i am stuck .i have a menu scene and a game scene. In menu scene i have a button named "Play Game". when i press this button game starts perfectly after game over i have a button named "Go back to main menu" that is used to take back to main menu scene now after game over when i click "PlayGame" button game does not perform any action and get freeze. please please help me guys i will be really thankful to you.

In VB6 we just have to use one single line of code If App.PrevInstance Then 'Take some action End If On goggling I did find a solution but it is very length and we have to mess with .drp file.     I'm using Bootstrap and DataTables in my app and I have a default initializer for tables based on class. I can just add the class data-table to the table and it gets instantiated with the default values I want. I was expecting one of the url will throw timeout error after 3 second since another url lock it atleast for 10 seconds due to thread sleep. Surprisingly I do not get any timeout error rather second page call run after 10 seconds as first call finish execution. But I am appending some url parameter (e.g. http://localhost.local/test.cfm?q=1) will throw error. Also I am calling same url in different browser then one of the call will throw timeout issue. Is lock based on session and url? And the .is() selector can look for multiple classes but will return true if the selector have at least one of the classes. But I wan't to achieve a way to check if a selector have both of the classes, and only if it has both of the classes do action. Any pointers?

    Hello, I am using a customised version of search-theme-from.tpl When I use the search box, I do get transferred to the search page. But the search does not actually take place. The search box on the search results page does work though.   • Custom UITableViewCell from xib isn't displaying properly

    I've created custom UITableCells a bunch of times and I've never run into this problem, so I'm hoping you can help me find the thing I've missed or messed up. When I run my app, the cells in my table view appear to be standard cells with Default style. I have SettingsTableCell which is a subclass of UITableViewCell. I have a SettingsTableCell.xib which contains a UITableViewCell and inside that are a couple labels and a textfield. I've set the class type in the xib to be SettingsTableCell and the File's Owner of the xib to my table controller. My SettingsTableController has an IBOutlet property named tableCell. My cellForRowAtIndexPath contains the following code to load my table view xib and assign it to my table controller's tableCell property: static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"CellSettings"; SettingsTableCell *cell = (SettingsTableCell*)[tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier]; if (cell == nil) { [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"SettingsTableCell" owner:self options:nil]; cell = self.tableCell; self.tableCell = nil; NSLog(@"cell=%@", cell); } This is what my xib set up looks like in IB: When I run my app, the table displays as if all of the cells are standard Default style cells though: The seriously weird part is though... if I tap on the area of the cell where the textfield SHOULD be, the keyboard does come up! The textfield isn't visible, there's no cursor or anything like that... but it does respond. The visible UILabel is obviously not the UILabel from my xib though because the label in my xib is right justified and the one showing in the app is left justified. I'm incredibly confused about how this is happening. Any help is appreciated.

    Working on a custom model binder in ASP.NET MVC 2. Most of the time I am binding data from typical form or querystring data. There are times that I end up letting the model binder bind part of an object and get the rest out of session at the controller action level. Does it make better sense to bind the entire object from the model binder (e.g. querystring, form, and session)?

  • Passing a model into RedirectToAction()

    I'm curious how this works. In MVC you can call View() and pass a model as a parameter, but RedirectToAction (one of its incarnations at least) takes a 'routeValues' object, which appears to be the closest match. If your model is passed in this parameter will that model type be available in the subsequent action method? Or are there caveats involved that might prevent accurate translation in some circumstances?

    Hi All, I have looked at most threads here about Doubly linked lists but still unclear about the following. I am practicing the Goodrich and Tamassia book in Java. About doubly linked lists, please correct me if I am wrong, it is different from a singly linked list in that a node could be inserted anywhere, not just after the head or after the tail using both the next and prev nodes available, while in singly linked lists, this insertion anywhere in the list is not possible ? If one wants to insert a node in a doubly linked list, then the default argument should be either the node after the to-be inserted node or node before the to-be inserted node ? But if this is so, then I don't understand how to pass the node before or after. Should we be displaying all nodes that were inserted till now and ask the user to select the node before or after which some new node is to be inserted ? My doubt is how to pass this default node. Because I assume that will require the next and prev nodes of these nodes as well. For e.g, Head<-A<-B<-C<-D<-E<-tail If Z is the new node to be inserted after say D, then how should node D be passed ? I am confused with this though it seems pretty simple to most.   • Converting string to a simple type

    .Net framework contains a great class named Convert that allows conversion between simple types, DateTime type and String type. Also the class support conversion of the types implementing IConvertible interface. The class has been implemented in the very first version of .Net framework. There were a few things in the first .Net framework that were not done quite right. For example .Parse methods on simple types would throw an exception if the string couldn't be parsed and there would be no way to check if exception is going to be thrown in advance. A future version of .Net Framework removed this deficiency by introducing the TryParse method that resolved this problem. The Convert class dates back to time of the old Parse method, so the ChangeType method on this class in implemented old style - if conversion can't be performed an exception is thrown. Take a look at the following code: public static T ConvertString<T>(string s, T @default) { try { return (T)Convert.ChangeType(s, typeof(T), CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); } catch (Exception) { return @default; } } This code basically does what I want. However I would pretty much like to avoid the ugly try/catch here. I'm sure, that similar to TryParse, there is a modern method of rewriting this code without the catch-all. Could you suggest one?
