    My web server has a peculiar behavior: Let's say my website URL is http://my-domain.com, and I have an accessible file http://my-domain.com/blah.jpg in it. For some reason I'm able to access the file using http://my-domain.com/blah. It happens with any type of file. Do you have any idea how do I fix this?

    I have a small rails app that has default scaffold generated routes eg. /stadia/1.xml. However I have to support legacy client app that can't construct such URLs correctly. What I need to do is to map URL in the form: /stadia?id=1?format=xml to /stadia/1.xml Or even something like: /myApp?model=<model_name>?id=<id>?format=xml to /<model_name/<id>.xml Is it possible to craft appropriate route in Rails?

  • Disable nested sorting in dojo enhancedGrid

    I'm currently trying to disable the nested sorting, as it does not pass the parameters for the nested sort to the store url (only the first sorted column gets passed over). I tried to set "nestedSorting: false" in the grid setup (programmatically), but the sorting is still being showed in the grid headers. Isn't it possible to disable the nested sort?

  • ui header is blocking a div

    i have built jQuery drop-down menu which is having problems floating over the UI header. Flash and everything else is fine, menu has no problem floating over anything except UI headers, i have tried messing with z-index in css files but it seems that jQuery script is over writing all of my css. the JS files are minified so i can not edit them.   • Strange behavior: save video recorded within app?

    I allow the user to record a video within my app, then later play it again. When a user records a video, I save the URL of the video, then play the video later from the saved URL. I save the video both in the Photos app and in my app. If I delete the video within the photos app, it still plays. After about 7 days, the video gets deleted. I think I am saving in my tmp directory, but i'm not sure. When I'm running my program, I get the following error: ... nested exception is javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: ejb not bound The error occurs at the start up when Java wants to create a certain bean. The Bean is a SimpleRemoteStatelessSessionProxyFactoryBean. Could it be that I ain't got the rights to access the naming provider URL although I can ping it? When accessing the bean on my local JBoss there are no problems.

    Hey, I have some code which queries a web server using HTTP GET URLConnection connection = new URL("www.example.com" + "?blah=ok").openConnection(); connection.setRequestProperty("Accept-Charset", "UTF-8"); InputStream http_response = connection.getInputStream(); Now when I run this code while connected to WiFi I get the expected response but when I run this with WiFi disabled I instead seem to get the response of www.example.com without the appended query. Does anyone know why this is happening?
