  • Silverlight RichTextBox Disable Mouse Selection

    I am writing a custom control based on RichTextBox that needs the ability to process MouseLeftButtonDown events but must not allow user-initiated selection (I'm doing everything programmatically). I tried setting a flag in MouseLeftButtonDown to track dragging and then continuously setting the RichTextBox.Selection to nothing in the MouseMove event but the move event isn't fired until after I release the mouse button. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks.

I've checked Amazon.com (no book yet on MVC2), ScottGu's Blog (only 2 short posts), ASP.NET/MVC website (they've only posted what are alreadi in the ScottGu's blog).     Hi, Since I switched to CEDET as shipped with recent emacs release (23.2), CEDET does not work reliably anymore. For example I am no longer able to regenerate an EDE project. After looking aroud, it seems that all CEDET templates are missing from the tarball. Does anyone know how I can workaround this ? Regards

  • How to correctly use ABPersonViewController with ABPeoplePickerNavigationController to view Contact

    I'm attempting to add a feature to my app that allows the user to select a contact from an ABPeoplePickerNavigationController, which then displays an ABPersonViewController corresponding to the contact they picked. At that point, I want the user to be able to click on a contact's phone number and have my app respond with custom behavior. I've got the ABPeoplePickerNavigationController working fine, but I'm running into a problem displaying the ABPersonViewController. I can get the ABPersonViewController to animate onto the screen just fine, but it only displays the contact's photo, name, and company name. None of the contact's other fields are displayed. I'm using the 'displayedProperties' element in the ABPersonViewController to tell the program to display phone numbers. This creates some strange behavior; when I select a contact that has no phone numbers assigned, the contact shows up with "No Phone Numbers" written in the background (as you'd expect), but when selecting a contact that does have a phone number, all I get is a blank contact page (without the "No Phone Numbers" text). What encoding should I use?

    When I try to inspect DataSet by standard DataSet visualizer I see this error "could not load this custom viewer". I wrote simple dataset visualizer, but error throws anyway too. On other computers with the same configuration visualizer show without any errors. OS: Windows 7 x86 (Release) VS: Visual Studio 2010 RC has somebody any ideas? I reinstall VS with no effect.

  • Drawing performance with CGImageCreateWithJPEGDataProvider?

    I've actually curious about this for the iPhone. I am getting an MJPEG stream from a server and trying to render it natively on the iphone (without the use of safari class). Reasons for this is because the safari class while CAN render MJPEG natively, does not do so at the framerate I would like. So I tried drawing it natively, but I've come up with performance issues, namely a syncing issue between what I'm getting from the server and what I am able to draw onto the screen of the phone. (There should be a little lag, but the drift gets really bad, which is what I want to avoid). So I have a connection set up to my server and I do get the JPEGS.     Hi there, So, I would like to get a sound file and convert it in packets, and send it to another computer. I would like that the other computer be able to play the packets as they arrive. I am using AVAudioPlayer to try to play this packets, but I couldn't find a proper way to serialize the data on the peer1 that the peer2 can play. The scenario is, peer1 has a audio file, split the audio file in many small packets, put them on a NSData and send them to peer2. Peer 2 receive the packets and play one by one, as they arrive. Does anyone have know how to do this? or even if it is possible? It would be a kind of streaming. Yes, for now I am not worried about the order that the packet are received or played...I only need to get the sound sliced and them be able to play each piece, each slice, without need to wait for the whole file be received by peer2.
