• What causes MSSQL to return the message 'The statement has been terminated'?

  I have a very simple INSERT statement being executed from a PHP script running on a Linux Apache web server. I can run the query fine from within SQL Management Studio and it normally runs fine from PHP as well. However, every once in awhile I get an error message from my PHP script that the query failed and the mssql_get_last_message() function returns 'The statement has been terminated'. What sources can cause this message to be returned from MSSQL?

• Good C++ Debugging/IDE Environment for Linux?

  I have a friend who is trying to make the switch to Linux, but is hung up on the apparent lack of debugging/IDE environments for C++, especially as they relate to template programming. He has been using visual studio for years and is maybe a little spoiled by their awesome IDE. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an environment where he can, under Linux, develop and debug with all of the usual things (Breakpoints, line highlighting for compilation errors, step in/over/out/etc, etc) that he's accustomed to? • web deploy causing bad image exception

  I have an asp.net web application that uses an unmanaged 32 bit dll that I have successfully running on my development machine, but when I use web deploy to move the code to our test server, I start seeing BadImageFormat exceptions. I set the target in visual web developer to x86 and both machines are running 64 bit os's (windows 7 and windows server 2008 r2). • Cannot change the height of a combo box in the VS Dialog Editor

  Any combo box I create seems to be stuck at 12 dialog units in height. Microsoft's guidelines for spacing and sizing of controls in dialog boxes state that a combo box should be 14 dialog units high. I have even tried editing the resource file in notepad and recompiling in Visual Studio without opening the resource editor - but the combo boxes are still the wrong size! Any ideas?
