  • Decoding MIME (HTML+Attachments)

    I'm planning to write an application that should handle incoming mails. Basically it will act more like a ticketing system than a webmail, so I'm only interested in receiving emails, and not sending them. I have made a simple prototype that downloads mails and displays the text with downloadable attachments in a web page, but handling mails from Outlook and others is more complicated. I have looked at some of the open source ticketing systems out there, but most of the code is tied to the system and is hard to separate. Is there a library that understands "rich" mail and makes this job simpler? Preferably in Python, Java, Ruby or Perl. I'm also open to suggestions for any command line mail clients that can be used for this, since the system will not receive large amounts of mail and can afford to launch external processes.

It never tells me it exists even if 123 is a line in that file. I don't know why?   • Setting up a local mail server

    This is what I want and I am having issues finding a solution. I have a number of websites (around 5) each with an email account. I have a server at my office and I would like to centralize it. I have a workstation too. What I want to happen is for the server to receive all emails from all those websites (from the web servers) and then connect my workstation to my local server to grab the emails from there. As the server downloads the emails, I would like them to be stored. Also, if I connect another workstation, I want the 2 workstations to sync. So if an email is read on one, it shows up as read on the other. Ideas? I am able to virtualize a Linus environment if that helps.

  • Help me construct this Linq statement

    There should be a simple Linq query for what I'm trying to accomplish, but I'm producing some ugly code. I have two tables, one of issues and another of issue status. There is a one-to-many relationship between issue and issue status. When an issue is created an IssueStatus is also created with the status field set to "Open" when it is closed, another IssueStatus is created with the status field set to "Closed" ... but issues can be re-opened. It seems like I should be able to write something like this: public static List<Issue> FindOpenIssues(this IList<Issue> issues) { return ( from issue in issues from issueStatus in issue.issueStatus.OrderBy(x=>x.CreatedOn).Single() where issueStatus.Status == "Open" select issue ).ToList(); } This obviously fails, but there must be a clean way to do this?   • Windows 7 unidentified network (or limited access) after hibernate.

    My windows 7 network will show limited access or unidentified network after coming up from hibernation. In the office I normally use LAN connection, I turn-off my wireless card (DELL Latitude has on/off switch for the wireless card). When I back at home I will turn on the wireless card, but it will take about 15 seconds to detect my home WIFI and then show limited access. I will have to restart the notebook and it will be able to connect to my WIFI and internet. The problem will be solved if I restart the notebook, but that defeats the purpose of hibernation doesn't it? I have tried uninstalling the wireless card driver but still does not solve it. I also tried updating my network card driver but windows says I am using the latest driver. On support.dell.com also showing I am using the latest driver.

  • 1 Computer Pulls Wrong DNS Every Morning

    One of my users takes his laptop home, connects to his internal network fine. He brings it in every morning and since Monday - every morning it pulls the wrong DNS every time. It pulls 1 DNS: 192.168.1.1 which is the router. The DNS are external IPs. I have several users that take their laptops home and connect to other networks - what could cause this anomaly? He's booting up when he comes in the office and a simple ipconfig /release /renew fixes the issue.

That means, at some point, an app is backgrounded and the user interacts with a browser window. Just before the browser opens, it's a recommended pratctice to inform the user about what will happen (see e.g. Getting Started with OAuth 2.0 - O'Reilly), let's say an alert window with something like "you will leave now the XYZ app and a browser window will open where you can enter your credentials safely". My question: How can that be done if I use the facebook SDK for ios? Looking at the SDK, there seem to be no notifications and no designated states that would allow me to detect that the sdk is about to background my app and about to opening either Safari or the Facebook app.

    Greeting to all. On my Fijitsu system with intel processor, I could not ssh from my Window Vista partition using PUTTY and also could not ssh from my Ubuntu 12.04 partition. I am try to ssh into a remote machine where I have an account but I always get Connection refused. But from the desktop computer in my office using the same PUTTY I could ssh to remote machine. My objective is, to find a keyword in the URL, and the keywords are in a txt file.     In my project, have setup an admin panel under a folder inside controllers folder like this controllers/admin_panel/dashboard.php And when we open it like this, it loads dashboard controller default http://www.mysite.com/admin_panel Now I have added a page controller on root level to load the page content from database. So here I have some a setup of kind of CMS. To load the page controller, I have added a condition in routes as below $route[':any'] = "page"; But what it is doing now is, when I try to open admin_panel, it loads the page controller.   • Lua not producing table of functions (IO API)

    I'm working on a basic project in Lua. I've been trying to get data from files using the IO API (as defined here), but when I open a file and give it a handle, it doesn't seem to return a table of functions. The (erroneous bit of) code: local unread = fs.list("email/"..from.."/") local send = "" for _,file in ipairs(unread) do local handle = io.open(file,"r") local text = handle:read("*a") send = send .. text .. "\n" handle.close() fs.delete(file) end The fs you see on the first line is a professional filesystem wrapper round the IO API, not my work and perfectly error-free, so that's not the problem. However, when I try to read the file (handle:read()), it throws "attempt to index nil". Tracing it, it turns out that handle itself is nil. Any ideas?

  • Perl - Choose interface to connect through

    I have 2 interfaces on my server, eth0 and eth0:0. Those are 2 different external ips and obviously 2 different reverse domains. When i open a IO::Socket::INET Perl uses the eth0 interface by default. I would like to use the second interface (eth0:0) because this has a different ip and i dont want to use my main ip/domain. I have absolutely no idea how to select which interface to connect through.   • TYPO3 unable to log in

    Hi, My company prepared a new website based on typo3 (don't know the version but they started to prepare it in October 2011 so it's probably from that time. A couple of days ago I got my user name and password but I'm unable to log in (Itried withIE, Firefox and Chrome). Each time I try typo3 behaves like I'd be entering wrong user name orpassword (for sure I'm entering the right one, I also tried other user's data it ended up the same way). I use Windows 7 and Kaspersky Internet Security 9.0.0.736 - might their settings block typo3? I really don't know what to do and can't obtain help from the IT department (in head office in another country)... Thank you for any suggestions in advance.
