• Store global values for use in a wordpress theme

  How/Where can I store some values such as a phone number or email address so I can use these values on any page in a my custom theme? Example: I want to store a contact phone number that should be displayed in the header file of my theme but i dont want to hardcode it into the html. I would like to store it in a simerlar way custom values are stored but accessable from any theme page.

The fields are optional, but if I don't fill them, I see them on the page anyway, and the content is .. i.e. FieldName: <br /> I would like to make them disappear instead..   I am trying to trigger a click event on an element on a page from within a Firefox sandbox. I have tried using jQuery's .click() as well as doing: var evt = document.createEvent("HTMLEvents"); evt.initEvent("click", true, false ); toClick[0].dispatchEvent(evt); Has anyone been able to trigger a click event on a page in the browser through a sandbox? I can get the DOM element fine, but triggering the event is a different story.

  My CMS system allow people to post some swf on the homepage, however, sometime there is video which is included in swf, not two files swf+flv. When the swf video load, it near used up the bandwidth and so the page seems not response for a while ... Can I use jQuery to control all the swf in a page that they load after the others done or maybe just load it after 3s or what? Thanks!!

  I have a web application that's branded according to the user that's currently logged in. I'd like to change the favicon of the page to be the logo of the private label, but I'm unable to find any code or any examples of how to do this. Has anybody successfully done this before? I'm picturing having a dozen icons in a folder, and the reference to which favicon.ico file to use is just generated dynamically along with the HTML page. Thoughts?

I'm looking into parsing environment variable $LC_ALL, but it isn't always set to a useful value, and its format seems to vary (can be <locale, or <locale.<code page, or <locale.<code page@<modifier etc...). Is there a better way? I'm essentially after a shell equivalent of what I'd get if I called nl_langinfo(CODESET) from C.
