• Can't see how to compile a header file with /clr switch in a mixed class

  When creating a mixed mode class, on compilation the header file complains that it needs to be complied with the /clr switch as it is a mixed mode class, however, I can't see any option to specifically compile that header with /clr from visual studio, and I don't want to set the entire project with a /clr flag, Does anyone know how I can specify that this header file is compiled correctly with /clr?   Hi! I've done my TreeView all with XAML but now I'd like to manage an event with code-behind. The HierarchicalDataTemplate contains an Image. I need to capture the events MouseEnter / MouseLeave on the Image. I've tried in this way: <Image x:Name="imgArticolo" Source="{Binding imgArt}"> <Image.Style> <Style TargetType="{x:Type Image}"> <EventSetter Event="MouseEnter" Handler="iArt_MouseEnter"/> </Style> </Image.Style> </Image> But in the designer of Visual Studio appear the error: "Impossible to load a file XAML with EventSetter".   (Can't believe this hasn't already been asked, but I can't find a dup) In Visual Studio with lots of projects, when I first open the solution, I sometimes get the warning Object of type "X" cannot be converted to object of type "X". Generally rebuilding seems to make it go away, but does anyone know what this is caused by, and how to avoid it? UPDATE I read somewhere that deleting all your resx files and rebuilding can help. I unthinkingly tried this. Not a good idea...

I'm wondering if is there a way to force MSSQL Management Studio to produce a script like this: ALTER TABLE Mytable ADD MyCol bit NOT NULL CONSTRAINT MyColDefault DEFAULT 0 WITH VALUES ALTER TABLE [dbo].Mytable ALTER COLUMN MyCol2 int NULL GO when I alter a very simple property of a column on a table. If I do this in the designer and ask for the produced script, the script doesn't do such simple tasks, but instead copies all the data in a tmp table, drops the original table, renames the tmp table with the original table name. And, of course, drops and recreates every constraint and relationships. Is there any option I can change to change this behaviour? Or, this may be possible, is there some danger I don't see in using the simple ALTER TABLE above? thanks.

• Xap file contents changes if built in Visual Studio or build server

  I'm using MEF with my Silverlight 4 app to dynamically load xap files. To optimize this process, I've removed various assemblies from my xaps since I know they've already been loaded by the base xap. This reduces the size of my dynamically loaded xaps. I accomplished this by setting the "Copy Local" flag for each assembly reference to "false". This all seems to work fine when I build in Visual Studio 2010 - my xaps are much smaller. However, when the same projects are built by the build server, all the excluded references are once again in the xap file hence tripling the size of the xap. I've read several blogs/articles regarding similar experiences but no resolution. Very frustrating - any help is appreciated.

  I'm using Crystal Report with VB.NET in Visual Studio 2005. I have report that works if I pass in a list of List(Of Stuff). I had been sorting the report by one of the members of Stuff but a need now to sort first by one member, like Stuff.StatusCode and then by another member, like Stuff.ItemNumber. Can I do this just be having more than one SortField member, or do I need to do it some other way? Thanks as always!

• gnat programming studio auto fix issues

  hi, I'm using GNAT Programming Studio to update some ada files. I have a style check, which for these old files produces literally thousands of warnings. Helpfully GPS has a little auto fix 'wrench' icon in the locations view, that's great but I don't want to go through and click the wrench ten thousand times. Is there a way to have it correct these errors automatically without me having to click each wrench? They are all right so I want to be changed automatically. I saw some documentation saying you could do it: http://www.adacore.com/wp-content/files/auto_update/gps-docs/Code-Fixing.html But I don't get the auto fix option when I right click. Maybe you need the pro version? I've tried everything I can think of. This would save hours of work, so it's really appreciated if someone could help on this. Thanks!

Some demo projects I have downloaded just run directly from the test page on disk. When developing what are the benefits of running via a server? What would you lose by just running from the disk? • Sharing code between two different git projects

Ideally, a change in this common library in one project could easily be pushed into the other project. • Which option controls the color of this text?

  I have applied a color theme called Vibrant Ink (or some modification of it), and since I installed Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools all my statement completion boxes are undreadable. What setting changes the colors of these boxes? Preferrably, I'd like to change the background color to something darker, but if that's not possible at least I want to change the text color.
