Hi guys, I found an old Windows XP SP2 in my -trash- cd can and tryed it on a 30 gb FAT32 partition.
Installation went fine till the copying operation was completed and XP asked for reboot. After that either it starts over again or throws invalid disk.
Starting over is an infinite loop the only way I see is to choose the "Repair console" but i'm not used to a dos box.
Can anyone help me through this harmful instalation?
Cheers, Daniel
While Trace.WriteLine("foo") works.
Why it's so? Workarounds?
This one looks like guilty bug:
Trace and Console writes are not displayed in results when an exception occurs
I have a very simple console app where I'm using dataset.WriteXml(@"c:\temp") but I'm getting message "Access Denied". What do I need to do?
Using Visual Studio 2008 on XP Pro.
I have a PHP web page, from which I need to call a perl script which executes in a console.
Please consider the possibility of getting the return values back to PHP with this?
Although not mandatory to pass values back to PHP. I want to see the possibilities.
Any help please?
Thanks.
So, I'm quite new and confused on the way to tackle creating sprites/sprite sheets for iOS games. I own the full CS5 sweet and have been told that fireworks is the best way to go for creating these (although I don't have the slightest idea in how yet and would love some tutorials/books specifying sprite sheet creation). My thoughts directed me towards tablet drawing, as I am awful at drawing with a mouse and/or tablet without a screen on it (such as a basic wacom). I was thinking about getting an iPad, as this would provide me with an iPad for testing purposes and a tablet. Does anyone know if it's possible (or even a good idea) to draw out your sprites on the iPad. Is it possible to export them out into Fireworks and such?
In eclipse how do you adjust the maximum lines in the console window? My program outputs 2000 lines of numbers and eclipse truncates it so therefore I am missing some numbers
I'm trying to set the Console window executed via my C-sharp code to be centered each and every time code is generated.
I hope that makes sense.
I thank you guys in advance.
So, Im a beginning C# programmer. I know basic syntax and simple things like if statements and loops(methods and classes too). I've only used console apps right now havent bothered with windows forms yet.
So any simple app ideas that introduce new things important for C# programming.
Also, NO tutorials. I want to make all by myself.
Hello , i have written an sql script for updating a database that runs in SQL server 2005 and I want to make that changes to the production DB server but I dont want to run the query from the query analyzer , is there a way to run the sql script from console?
Hi,
I am using Tomcat from Eclipse. When i try to start the server I am getting the following error in the console:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.jawr.web.servlet.JawrServlet
at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1516)
When i deploy the war file in the Tomcat server outside of eclipse it is not having any problems. I am only getting this problem when i am trying to start tomcat from eclipse with jawr. Please let me know the solution for this problem.
Thanks in advance,

Say I have a router helper that I want more info on, like blogs_path, how do I find out the map statements behind that in console.
I tried generate and recognize and I got unrecognized method error, even after I did require 'config/routes.rb'
THanks
Hey everybody,
Im trying to write a quick console app that outputs data to an HTML file, however im having trouble accessing the System.Web.UI namespace.
Adding System.Web to my references places a warning icon on top of the reference name in the solution explorer and System.Web is not available in the .NET reference list (in order for me to actually add it to the project I have to go to the object browser and add it from there).
Anybody have any ideas about what I could be missing?
Thanks alot people!
I have started to study C. I'm using Linux console and I would like to do a program which outputs random characters until ESC is pressed. How can I make such a keyboard handler?
Hi

I am developing a console application. I need to emulate the way how the command line utility behaves when the F7 button is pressed, like shown below:
Is it possible in C# 2008? If not, is there any workaround available?
Any help much appreciated.
I downloaded and am running the latest SDK (in About GoogleAppleEngineLauncher, I see it is version 1.3.4.794), but when I open the SDK Console and go to the Task Queue section, I still see "Tasks will not run automatically. Select a queue to run tasks manually." I have not added the flag --disable_task_running, so I'm confused as to why it is still manual for me.
How can I load a javascript file via Firebug console ?
This would be useful in development, so I don't have to modify the html code to load the script.
Hi
I am a relatively newbie in C++ and worked in the game industry for a few months. I am looking to get back to the industry and understand that one needs to be a very good C++ programmer (mainly bcos of how competitive it is to get into making games). I was wondering if there are really good websites online that would help with that. Basically I am looking for something that would help me MASTER C++ concepts as well as help me be a good coder through programming examples that I can code.
Thanks
Bi
I've already set
<property name="show_sql">false</property>
& disable all messages in log4j.properties
But Hibernate shit to console with all queries & statements.
I have created a simple hello world application in xcode using the command line utility. When i click on Build and Run. program successfully builds. I can see a message at status bar
"Debugging of HelloMac ended normally"
But debugger console on which Hello World message should appear is not opening.
I have a dll installed in GAC. I have not issues reading that assembly from asp.net applications the assembly reference i have done in web.config is able to refer to that assembly.
But in the console application, when i put the below in the app.config file, the solution gets compiled, but i am not able to access the dll from program.cs file. Below is my app.config to refer to the dll in GAC.
Please point to me what i am doing wrong.
How can I send trace messages to the console (like print) when I'm running my Django app under manage.py runserver, but have those messages sent to a log file when I'm running the app under Apache?
I reviewed Django logging and although I was impressed with its flexibility and configurability for advanced uses, I'm still stumped with how to handle my simple use-case.
My apologies for not being able to find the answer elsewhere-- this is a newbie question I know.
