    Hi, when I want to start CVS repository explorer, it cannot connect to the server. I entered something like "a.b.com" as "host" and "/c/d" as repository path. I entered my username and password and "module" name correctly. Does anybody know what the problem is? Thank you so much. shadi :)

    Does anyone know if there is any API exposed to manage repository permissions within SharpSVN? For example, programatically adding read and write permissions on a per repository basis. Alternatively, any other thoughts on managing permissions with other SVN APIs? Worst case wil be manually managing the contents of svnaccessfile but this is a last resort. Thanks.

EDIT: I am currently using the cygwin install of git to store and work with git repositories in Windows, but I would like to take the next step of hosting a repository with a service that can provide access to others.

    We are using Subversion for SCC. We have a great deal of our build environment in our repository so that we can check a given version out and rebuild it fairly close to what was in use at that time. We have the following in there now: InnoSetup binaries Third Party Components VCL (including Indy) Our Source (of course) Finalbuilder project files The only thing missing is the binaries for Delphi itself - I am wondering if there is a minimum set of files that can be copied to the repository and run. I.e, if I have some remote server with shared access with git repository there, and I don't want to our project was stolen without a permission...     Hi, I'm currently trying to convince my company to migrate to git from subversion, and one thing that would be really helpful would be to allow me to store a repository in subversion and git at the same time (then I can show them how easy it is to do in git what they've spent an hour trying to do in subversion). I guess that I could put my subversion repository straight into git, but this seems to leave loads of .svn artifacts in each directory. Does anyone know if there's a way to avoid this?

    I have been using git on windows-msysgit. Whenever I try to remove a repository completely either using explorer or using $ git rm -rf ptp/ fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git it errors out "The data present in the reparse point buffer is invalid" or the fatal error above.     I was wondering if it's possible to have a java package setup using a different subversion repository than the rest. Ideally, I would probably go with a different library project, but in the case of BlackBerry, the 3rd party library linking does not work well, so I would like to just separate my UI package into a different repository than the rest so that I can control the UI better for different OS versions, but leave all the other packages the same. Is this possible?

    Hi, I use TortoiseSVN on WindowsXP and ran into an issue inside repository browser today. Basically, I can browser/checkout fine at application level "https://domain/svn/app1". However, When I try to browse at the root level of the repository "https://domain/svn/", the following error msg displays: OPTIONS of 'https://domain/svn': 200 OK I try to access https://domain/svn in a web browser, I can see all the applications there.     I am wanting to create a gihub repository that offers benchmarking code that works for concurrent features available only in JDK 1.7 (Fork/Join) as well as for older ones found in JDK 1.6. Offering both options is important for what I need. Does anyone have a recommendation how should I structure the repository.   • Blackberry Enterprise Server v5.x not forwarding mail to devices

    My BlackBerry enterprise server recently stopped forwarding messages to devices. In fact, the server claims that the last time it communicated with all the devices associated with it, was on Thursday night (2 nights ago.) The catch is this, the Exchange server is running properly (or as properly as Exchange can run :) ) The SQL server seems to be running properly. And the Blackberry Enterprise server seems to be running correctly. Other than the fact that the server has not communicated with my device since Thursday, and the fact that I am not getting messages, there is nothing wrong. How do I get these message to be forwarded to devices again? I have restarted the BES services int he order suggested by the BlackBerry folks
