• Google Chrome freezing when I open Bookmark Manager

  I have an issue with Google Chrome freezing whenever I open the Bookmark Manager. Only that particular tab freezes, and I can still use the other tabs. No bookmarks appear, and I cannot type in the 'Search bookmarks' field. This seems to be related with my logged in profile. If I change profile, it allows me to login. I've also tried to login with my profile on different computers using Chrome, and it also freezes. However, I can still add bookmarks from the bookmarks tab. I just cannot use the Bookmark Manager. Any ideas what I can do? Is it possible to somehow export my bookmarks, reset the profile bookmarks (without losing other information like extensions etc), and re-import them?

• Fonts in Google Chrome messed up

  I recently installed new fonts on my computer that my friend sent me so I can use them in Adobe Photoshop. When I downloaded the ".zip" folder containing the fonts I unzipped the folder, pressed Ctrl+A to highlight all of the font files and then I right clicked and clicked "Install". That is how I installed the fonts. Now the fonts in Google Chrome are messed up. When I go on websites such as Stackoverflow, Facebook, etc. the fonts are different and look really odd. Random parts of text are bolded or italized, etc. I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome and Windows 8 Pro. I took 3 screenshots to show you what I mean.

• vqadmin "invalid language file" with google chrome

  We have been running our qmail setup for awhile with no issues. One of our admins has moved to Google Chrome as his main browser and we have noticed something odd. No matter what, when he loads the vqadmin page it errors on him with simply invalid language file. Yet if he loads Firefox, Opera, Safari or shudders IE8 it works fine. Searching google only results in 'Use IE' or 'Set english as your language in the browser'. A: I try to have people avoid IE if possible and B: There is no english option in Chrome.

• Chrome pegs CPU playing YouTube videos

  I am not sure when this started, but the issue definitely exists in the latest version of Chrome (10.0.648.127). Playing youtube video at 320p essentially pegs the CPU. The process that kills is WindowServer which takes up the lion's share of the CPU. When I close the tab, everything goes back to normal. If I try this in Safari or Firefox, CPU usage is within acceptable levels. I am on a 2-3 year old MacMini, which is not the latest, but runs most apps fine. 1.83Mhz Intel Core 2 Duo. Is there a setting within Chrome I can set to fix this issue?

  Google Chrome keeps loading the second page of certain websites which is helpful on sites like Netflix so that instead of clicking on a link for page 2, I can just continue scrolling down and it'll automatically have the next page ready for me. But on online clothing sites, it just gets backed up loading all the next pages, misplacing links and loading the next page so that it actually replaces the page I'm trying to view literally every millisecond. Considering clothing sites generally have upwards of 20 to 200 pages of clothing, this is really annoying since Chrome tries to load all of them. How do I turn off the automatic page load???

• Chrome Java Plugin not working after moving Java installation directory

  I recently moved all my Java installations from C:\Program Files\Java to D:\Java, as my C:\ partition only had a few MB of free space left and windows kept on bugging me about it. I also edited every registry entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft that pointed to the old directory to now point to the new one. Then changed the PATH variables and removed the old files, did a restart, and all Java applications work just fine. Yet, Chrome is the only application that seems to have a problem with what I did, as the Java Plugin isn't recognized any more. Are there any registry entires I may have missed? Maybe in the Chrome registry? How can I make this work again?

• Google Chrome can't play some flash videos

  Some flash videos won't play in Chrome, while they play perfectly in other browsers. The player will load, but instead of showing a preview of the video and a play button on the middle of the video, the screen is black: Here's an example of a video that does not work and here is a video on the same site that does work. The video that works is a Youtube video embedded on the site with JW Player, while the nonworking one is probably hosted by the website itself. In both cases it is using Flash. The site is popular and others don't seem to be experiencing this problem. I am running Win7 64bit and I have no ad blockers installed. I have found two common solutions to this problem, neither of which work: Solution #1: Remove all flash application data. Solution #2: Enable and disable Chrome's built in flash and System's flash. Any suggestions?

  When I type in google chrome "google.com" I receive such error: 404. That’s an error. The requested URL /cgi-bin/authme?s=0.2068704296834766 was not found on this server. That’s all we know. It seems I'm redirected somehow by some reason. Probably lenovo notebook problem? At the same time IE works fine. This problem reproducable with other webpages too, for example i'm redirected from vkontakte.ru to such web page which doesn't exist too http://www.vkontakte.ru/cgi-bin/authme?s=0.7140683813486247 Also I see such message when chrome starts "Lütfen yönlendirilirken bekleyin", this is very strange because I only have russian and english languages installed in system.

I know that IE has an option to print background but Chrome does not.   I'm using Chrome 21.0.1180.49 beta on Mac OS X 10.7.4. Did some Googling and can't figure this out. I visited a page on nypost.com earlier this morning. Just noticed that Little Snitch is reporting that nypost.com is being called every 4-6 seconds or so. I closed the tab after reading the story, a few hours ago. I created a rule in Little Snitch denying access to nypost.com, but Chrome is apparently still connecting to it. (1) Why? and (2) How can I put an end to this? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

• Google Chrome "warn to quit" not warning on Cmd + Tab quit

  As a Mac poweruser, I often use Cmd + Tab to switch between applications. Tab is unfortunately close to Q, so I often end up jamming Cmd + Q as well by accident. On most applications, this isn't a problem; a popup appears confirming if I want to quit, and I just click "cancel." However, this isn't the case with Google Chrome. I checked "warn before quitting", and when I press Cmd + Q a box saying "Hold Cmd + Q to quit" pops up. But when jamming Cmd + Q while switching to Chrome using Cmd + Tab, it completely ignores the "warn before quitting" policy and quits immediately. Any way to fix this annoyance? Switching either of the shortcuts to something else would fix the problem, but I'm not able to find a way to do so.

  I dont know when it started to happen. The screen will turn into full black when a page include javascript (I think so). I cannot open Youtube videos, but I can still see the source code and the pointer to find links and buttons and I can hear the sound of video. I have tried to clear my cache and reinstalled to the latest version, but nothing seems work. Moreover, I have disabled the Pepperflash Player as well, but it did not help. • Syncing Multiple Google Calendars and with Outlook and Android

  Perhaps this is a multipart question, but I deal with a lot of calendars in my life, and want to know if there is some way to sync them all together, and maintain appropriate privacy. So I have a family calendar that my ex and I maintain for kid events, and I have a personal calendar for my own life, and I have an Outlook work calendar, for work. Ideally I'd look at my calendar on my Android phone. Is it possible to sync them all together? Is it possible for there to be one calendar to rule them all on my phone, but have the other calendars blank out spaces that are from other calendars, but only show the blanked out without the details. (I don't want my date with Miss Hottie to appear that way on the family calendar, and I probably don't want my visit to the proctologist to appear in the corporate exchange server.) Are there tools available to do this? Bonus question, can I do the same with my to do lists? Double bouns question -- how can I solve world hunger and help us to all live together in peace? :-)

• Programs still opening websites through Google Chrome, despite its removal

  Even after I've uninstalled Google Chrome, when other programs want to open a website (e.g.: Yahoo! Messenger getting a profile) they will still attempt to do so through Chrome, and fail looking for it. I've read all the advice on how to make Firefox or IE for Windows 7 the default browser. I don't think Google would do this sort of "hijack the default browser" thing and I'm convinced it must be a trojan or virus or even a registry hack. If so, any ideas on how I would go about fixing this without purchasing every virus/trojan program until it was removed? That method could be an expensive fix.

  I am using Linux mint OS since an Year , I use to consistently download updates and install , I use chrome as a default browser , when ever I open youtube and watch some video , I listen to some repetition in sound ( say repeated lyrics of song ) while it is playing , In firefox it is working fine . What is the problem am I missing any plugin , AFAIK Chrome doesn't need a flash player plug in , It has a built in flash player . IS that the problem ? And also previously I was not facing this , recently I started using Cinimon UI centOS after this all these kind of problems started MY hard ware is 64 bit intel core i3 and also I have installed linux mint 64 bit Please let me know what is the problem and how to fix this .   I would like to try out WebGL on a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, WinXP/32, DirectX 9.0c. Some time ago I have gotten it to work with Firefox and software rendering. However, I heard about ANGLE and that some versions of Chrome support it. So I installed Chrome 11, canary build. Does that support ANGLE? Do I somehow need to activate it? Because, all WebGL pages that I tried with canary build say something like: "Failed to initialize WebGL"

• Unable to Connect to just Google Servers

  I am in an extremely strange problem. I am unable to connect to just Google Servers. I am not able to access any site related to Google, Google.com | YouTube | Google+ | Webmaster Tools | jQuery CDN, nothing is working. I am able to open any other website (as I am posting this question on SuperUser), even the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) are offline. Please Help!! Update 1: Google DNS are back online, YouTube is back online. But website on domain google.com is not working (ex: play.google.com, maps.google.com, google.com/search, etc). Update 2: I am able to access Google.com (only) with (one of) its IP addresss(s) listed below: 74.125.227.41 74.125.227.46 74.125.227.32 74.125.227.33 74.125.227.34 74.125.227.35 74.125.227.36 74.125.227.37 74.125.227.38 74.125.227.39 74.125.227.40 Update 3: I consulted my friends nearby and they said that they are also experiencing the same problem. • How to open pdf in Chrome's integrated viewer without downloading it

  So I was really excited about the new integrated pdf viewer in chrome. However when I click on a pdf file link, chrome offers to download it instead of opening it inside its viewer. How do i get it to open pdfs inside its viewer? Edit: I have found that it behaves kinda randomly. Sometimes it does open it inside its viewer and sometimes it asks to download it. In gmail though it always asks to download it. Note: I already have the 'ask where to save each file before downloading' option unchecked.

• Disable mouse hotkeys in Chrome

  Does anyone know how I can get Chrome to stop using my mouse buttons as hotkeys for a Logitech MX518 gaming mouse? I have the mouse driver and software suite (SetPoint) installed. Unfortunately, SetPoint does not provide per-application settings, so that route is not an option. No matter what I do in SetPoint, Chrome captures my side mouse buttons and uses them as a forward/back hotkey. I want to turn this off because I use those buttons for my push-to-talk in Mumble/Ventrilo. Any idea how I can do this? edit: my set-point does not have a way to create per-application settings.

• Group policy doesn't let me execute Chrome (Win 7)

  where I work the admins just migrated us to Windows 7. They gave me admin rights but still I had to "run as administrator" my Google Chrome installation. After I managed to install it, I realized I even have to go through the 'run as administrator' shortcut every time I have to execute the application. I even edited the properties of the shortcut to check 'always run as administrator' but nothing changed. The message I get when I'm trying to launch Chrome is "This program is blocked by group policy. For more information contact your system administrator"... Is it something I could work out alone or I have to convince them to change the " policy " ?
