  • Apache FOP - Table top and bottom borders missing pagebreak inside table

    I am using Apache FOP to generate a PDF from a XLS FO document. I have created a test XLS FO document that contains a table with collapsed borders that with several tall rows. One of the rows starts on one page and ends on the next and this works as expected. The problem is that the bottom border of the table on the first page is missing and the top border of the table on the second pages is also missing. This works, but I need to use these functions for other things than fixing this issue so what I need to know is if there is an other sollution to the problem?

  • iTextSharp is missing HeaderFooter class

    This is weird, I am currently using iTextSharp and I want to add a Header & Footer to my PDFs. In all the examples they simply create a new HeaderFooter() object. However, I have iTextSharp libraries all imported but the HeaderFooter is not defined. I've used Reflector to see if I can find out whereabouts the class is and its missing?! Does anyone know what has happened to this class?

    For some reason I am missing makecert.exe on my system. I searched the whole hard drive and it's not there. In particular, it's not in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin where I believe it's supposed to be. I haven't found any articles on this topic on the Internet.     I'm using Versions for SVN. I attempt to commit and get this message: Commit failed (details follow): '/Users/mike/Sites/mysite.com/astss-cvsdude/Trunk/cart/flashfile.swf' is scheduled for addition, but is missing I suppose this is because I had added files to the repo, and then deleted them via the filesystem. I'd like to have it simply make note of my change, and apply the change to the repo. How can I get around this?

    Hi, I am looking for a solution for this scenario - I need to implement a feature to allow user to add various controls to canvas(WPF, custom and third party ) and then select any one of them and modify some properties in property grid(changes needs to be reflected in UI). I don't want to expose all the properties of any control only some of them(relevant to end user); apart from this there are some properties which will be common for all controls e.g. Title, Value(Value will be bound to some property of a control, say Text of TextBox and Content of Label) etc. I am thinking of putting all the common proeprties at one place. Things I am confused aout - How to create such base class, whether to use UserControl or Custom Control for this? How will the binding work between Control, base class proeprties and PropertyGrid? What type of object will I expose to property grid? Any idea on what approch should be followed in this case, any kind of input will really be helpful.

  • What is Silverlight's relationship -- if any -- to WPF?

    I was working with a WPF application and I decided that the controls and graphics I wanted to display on the grid might look better if it was a silverlight component. I thought this way because of all the cool silverlight controls that look very flash-like. But now that I have gottem my Visual Studio 2010 set up with SIlverlight, it seems that every silverlight app I can make are ASP.NET in nature. It seems that instead of a cool GUI control to make, Silverlight is telling me that it is primarely a dataflow sort of application for the web. What is the relationship, if any, between WPF and Silverlight. Can I or can I not put a silverlight control into my existing WPF application?
