  I have windows server 2003 r2 standard edition and some XP OS clients systems. I have created the DNS and profiles for all user. Now I want to authorized some users to installation of softwares, remove softwares and other such kind of things. How to I make such kind of policies for all different users on DNS. Please help me. • Single click to accept meeting invite in Outlook 2010

  In Outlook 2003 when I received a meeting invite I could click the Accept button once to accept it. In Outlook 2010 I have to click Accept, then click "Send the response now", which is completely useless - what else do I need to say other than "yes, I'll be there"? How do I restore the old behaviour so that a I can accept with a single click? (Declining is different, of course - I might want to edit the message then.)

• Reducing memory for worker MPM in Apache

  I've moved from the prefork MPM to the worker MPM due to a process limit I was hitting on my VPS. However, memory usage increased after switching over (which is odd since the worker MPM is supposed to have a smaller memory footprint?). Most of them belong to php-cgi processes. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have around 20 sites on it, each with a different fcgi wrapper script. Could that be a reason?

  Is there an Emacs function that toggles between .cpp and .hpp files that are not in the same directories? I know there is toggle-source.el, but it apparently does not handle the case where .cpp and .hpp are not in different directories. But my directory structure is like this: project1/src/foo.cpp project1/include/foo.hpp project2/src/bar.cpp project2/include/bar.hpp It shouldn't be hard to toggle between src/foo.cpp and include/foo.hpp but I don't speak Lisp ... :`(

• Something is preventing incoming connections in Windows XP

  I want to test Apache Server on my PC. When I visit my site from my PC at 127.0.0.1 or by typing my IP, it works. But when I try viewing my site from another PC by typing my IP, the site didn't load. I only see some data transfer activity on the PC on which the site is hosted. Note, I have tried installing different server software, disabling firewall and creating a connection as incoming connection, but nothing works.

Is my server being used to send spam?

• Does informing your destination hardware impact on ebook convertion on Calibre?

  If I connect my Kindle Fire to the computer, Calibre gives me an option to convert to Kindle Fire mobi format. Is this different from just asking to convert to mobi? I don't want to connect my Kindle anymore, I want to send to the cloud, but I'm not willing to lose conversion quality because of lack of ebook reader information. Of course, I couldn't find the convert to Kindle option without it being connected.

  I recently reinstalled windows xp on my dell latitude d410 laptop, everything works fine as long as I don't shut down, when I do, I get a black screen with a list of choices, it gives me the option of trying to start windows normally or different safe modes, than a blue screen comes up and runs a check disk, it even ask me to pick a restore point the last time, which I did, I'm afraid to turn the computer off or restart it, what could be wrong?

  Basically, for every new user we have about 30 different installers that all need to be run manually after an install of windows which is tedious/time consuming. We can't simply ghost/image the computers as they come because of the wide variety of hardware being used (all laptops).   I've got a CakePHP application that uses a MSSql server running on windows server 2008r2 enterprise using IIS 7.5 My application is the only website running and is installed into wwwroot with cakephp installed to c:\inetpub (one level up from the site) I want to copy this site so i can have a development version to work on, without conflicting with the live site. how do i go about doing this? i'm confused, since previous set ups i've seen have a different folder in wwwroot for the site itself.

• Change default root user with a new one on Ubuntu Server

  I have a VPS, until now I used the default root user for SSH access and everything. For security reasons I'd like to use a different user for root, terminal access and sudo operations. So I created another user, gave him the sudo and every other perm. The problem is that all the system files belongs to root. What happens if I set PermitRootLogin No for root? Those files wouldn't be editable by the new root user!
