• sharepoint cannot export all fields to spreadsheet

  I am trying to make an export of a list in SharePoint to an Excel spreadsheet. I have added all needed fields to my default view of the list, (like Publishing Start Date / End date) but some fields (like Publishing Start Date / End date) don't show up in Excel. Any idea? EDIT: My setup is a MOSS standard edition, the needed fields (Publishing Start Date / End date) are standard SharePoint publishing fields. The versions of Excel I tried it with are 2003 and 2007

• Web Page Design Get Distorted in Desktop PC Monitor

  I am building my web application on my laptop but when I navigate the page on my desktop pc the layout of the div are distorted. I think the solution is giving percentage instead of absolute numbers like 240px to height and width of divs. What do you think ? Do you have another recommendations ? Thanks in advance.   I used a CSS reset to reset some commonly-used items. The code is this: html, body, div, h1, h2, h3, h4, ul, ol, li, form, input, fieldset, textarea { margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0; font-size: 100%; } ul {list-style: none outside none;} img, fieldset {border: 0;} h1, h2, h3, h4 {font-weight: normal;} em {font-style: italic;} strong {font-weight: bold;} I know there's YUI and Meyer's reset, but I use this one. Now, the problem I'm experiencing is that I can't get the submit buttons to look normally again. I could ofcourse remove the input from the list and be done with it, but I'd like to know how to get it back, since I might need that in the future.

  I have 2 DIV's that I want to be side-by-side under all circumstances. So far I am accomplishing it like this: <div style="float: left"> <table> ... </table> </div> <div style="float: right; overflow: scroll; width: 1000px"> <pre> ... </pre> </div> However, I don't like that I have to specify an absolute width in the 2nd div. I just want the 1st div to be the minimum width to display the table and 2nd div to take up the rest of the space without overflowing. Is there a better way?

• dojo/dijit ContentPane setting content

  I am trying append some XML retrieved via a dojo.XHRGet to a dijit.layout.ContentPane. Everything works ok in Firefox (3.6) but in Chrome, I only get back 'undefined' in the particular ContentPane. Is there a better way to handle the return data from the request? After the post the same page is shown on which this drop down is present. I want to know about the HTML attribute for the drop down which will let me preserve the list selection change. But as of now the list shows its first element after the post. e.g. The dropdoen contains elements like 1,2,3,etc. By default 1 is selected. If I select 2, the post is invoked and the same page is shown again but my selection 2 goes and 1 is selected again. How can preserve the selection? Thanks, Kapil

• Refreshing UIScrollView / Animation, timing (Objective-C)

  I have a UIScrollView that is displaying a list of data. Right now, when the user adds one more item to the list, I can extend the content size of the UIScrollView and scroll down smoothly using setContentOffset and YES to animated. When the user removes an item from the list, I want to resize the content size of the UIScrollView, and scroll back up one step also in an animated fashion. How can I get the ordering right? Right now, if I resize the content size before scrolling back up, the scroll isn't animated. I tried scrolling back up before resizing the content size, but that still didn't give a smooth transition. Is there a way to finish the scrolling animation BEFORE resizing the content size? Thanks

Clicking the Flash container in Firefox will work Perfectly fine. You should get alert boxes in this order containing: span, div and body. Flash bubbles the event to the HTML. But this is not happening in IE. So why is Flash in IE not bubbling events to HTML? Edit: As mentioned by Andy E this behavior can also bee seen in Google Chrome which to my knowledge is not using ActiveX to embed the flash movie into the page.

  Hi all i have a that contains a HORIZONTAL menu. the menu consists of an unordered list. i would like the div to get a horizontal scroller whenever the menu exceeds the width of the <div>. i tried using these CSS definitions for my <div>: position: absolute; width: 380px; overflow: auto; overflow-y: hidden; height: 30px; but than realized that since the menu is LIST, the different list items break the line whenever they reach the width of the <div> and move on to the next line, thus the browser doesnt see the need for a horizontal scroller (it doesnt display a vertical one as well because of the overflow-y: hidden; line) any ideas how i can create a 1 line horizontal menu which will scroll horizontally only? thank you all so much.

On my local server I could run bconsole and the server responds but when I run bconsole or bat on my windows client the server does not respond. Say, I have a list of object(party), and I only need to pass 2 items as JSON pair. def list = getMyList() //it contains 2 party objects partyTo = array { for (i in list) { x partyId: i.id y partyName: i.toString() } } The JSON string is {"partyTo":[ {"partyId":12}, {"partyName":"Ar"}, {"partyId":9}, {"partyName":"Sr"} ] } when I extract it at the client, it is treated as 4 objects.   What is the SQLite query to detect if the FTS3 extension module is installed? Or is it possible to get a list of installed extensions with an SQLite3 query? It has to work with pysqlite2. I know that I can get the list of tables using SELECT * FROM sqlite_master, I'd like to get something similar for the list of extensions. I also know that CREATE VIRTUAL TABLE v USING FTS3 (t TEXT) succeeds iff FTS3 is installed, but I'd like to get a query without side effects (not even creating a temporary table).

• /proc/net/dev and /sys/class/net/ bogus network interface names

  I am constructing a list of network interfaces to monitor based on the contents of /proc/net/dev. But I am getting some bogus interfaces in the list: __tmp1104705027 __tmp974528607 Where do those come from? They also show up in /sys/class/net/: # ls -1 /sys/class/net/ eth0 eth1 eth2 eth3 lo sit0 __tmp1104705027 __tmp974528607 For now, I think I'll just ignore anything starting with __tmp, but I'd like to know what they are and where they come from. This is on a recompiled CentOS 5.3 kernel: 2.6.18-128.7.1.el5.tvh.7PAE #1 SMP PREEMPT
