    Hi all, Using progress_horizontal.xml as a base drawable for my seekbar i was able to customize it pretty well. But unfortunately i stuck with the following problem. I need my progress to be made from two horizontal lines with different color something like this http://picasaweb.google.com/manigoad/Other#5442553107070487330 .     Hi folks, I used BeautifulSoup to handle XML files that I have collected through a REST API. The responses contain HTML code, but BeautifulSoup escapes all the HTML tags so it can be displayed nicely. Unfortunately I need the HTML code. How would I go on about transforming the escaped HTML into proper markup? Help would be very much appreciated!

There doesn't seem to be a NAnt task for StyleCop, but we've found StyleCopCmd. However this only seems to generate an XML file as output that we'd have to parse. Is there some easier solution?

    Hi All, We have a situation where we want to use filter for URL's containing some specific request parameters. e.g htt://mydomain.com/?id=78&formtype=simple_form&....... htt://mydomain.com/?id=788&formtype=special_form&....... and so on , id are fetched at run time, I want configure filter in web.xml only if formtype=special_form.   • Getting a friend count from facebook (possibly using api)

    Im used to working with twitter, where friend/follower totals are available in a simple xml request. My goal is a simple "enter your username/user id, and display your friends count". Is there something like this for facebook? From what i gather, ill have to make an application, and have anyone who wants to grab their friends total actually install that app from within their own facebook profile. Anyone have any experience with this?

  • android: what is INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES error?

    I was trying to change my default/main/startup (whatever you call it) activity by editing the androidmanifest.xml file. All i did was change the android:name property. however, this completely broke the entire app. when i try to install it fails and reads Installation error: INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES when i tried to change it back to its previous state, it was still giving me the same error... what have i done!?!?!

    Hi I have a webservice with the following annotations: @WebService @HttpSessionScope @Stateful @Addressing Now I created a ASP.NET (c#) client for this webservice, but when I call a method the following error is returned: This is a stateful web service and {http://jax-ws.dev.java.net/xml/ns/}objectId header is required. How can I tell ASP.net to switch to stateful mode? Is this possible at all? Thanks any advice/examples.

    I've successfully got PartCover 2.3 working with VS 2008 on my 64-bit machine. I'm now trying to get it to work with VS 2010 and NUnit 2.5.3. I've got NUnit using the correct CLR version, but I can't get PartCover to produce any output. All I get is an "empty" report XML file: <PartCoverReport date="2010-03-30T16:09:05.1009099+01:00" /> How do I get PartCover 2.3 (or 2.2, I guess) to work with NUnit 2.5.3 on .NET 4.0?

    SoapUi & database data needed Hi, In a J2ee project( spring ws + hibernate +postgresql+maven 2 + tomcat),We have created webservices with full crud operations. We are currently testing them with SoapUi (not yet integrated in the integration-test maven phase ). We need tomcat to test them. Actually before the phase test, with a maven plugin, only one time, some datas are injected in the database before the launch of all tests through many sql files. But the fact is that to test some webservices i need some data entry & their Id (primary key) A- What is the best way to create them ? 1- populate one of the previous .sql test file. But now we have a big dependency where i have to be careful to use the same id use in a insert in the sql file in SoapUi too. And if any developper drop the value, the test will broke. 2- create amongst the .sql file test a soapui.sql where ALL data needed for the Sopaui test will be concentrated. The advantage is that the maintenance will be much more easy. 3-because i have Ws available for all crud operations, i can create before any testsuite a previous testsuite called setup-testsuiteX. In this one, i will use those Ws to inject datas in the databse & save id in variables thanks to the feature "property transfer" 4-launch the soapui test xml file with a junit java test & in the Setup Method (we are using spring test), we will populate the database with DbUnit. Drawback: they are already data in the database & some conflicts may appear due to constraint.And now i have a dependency between: - dbUnit Xml file (with the value primary key) - sopaui test where THOSe value of primarykey will be used advantage: A automatic rollback is possible for DbUnit Data but i dont know how it will react because those data have been used with the Ws. 5- your suggestion ? better idea ? Testing those Ws create datas in the DB. How is the best way to remove them at the end ?     I'm using ASIHttpRequests and an ASINetworkQueue in an iphone app to retrieve some 100k XML files and a lot of thumbnails from a web service. I'd like to cache the requests in the style of NSURLCache. ASI doesn't seem to support caching as is, and I looked at the code and it drops to C to create the requests, so inserting the NSURLCache layer seemed tricky. What's the best way to implement this?

    In Entity Framework v1 If you create a Custom Entity to map it to a Stored Procedure during FunctionImport and then Select "Update Model from Database" the Update Model Wizard removes the Custom Entity (as added Manually in the SSDL XML prior to functionImport) from the SSDL. Does anyone know if this limitation has been dealt with Entity Framework v4? I mean is there a way to prevent the Wizard from removing the Custom Entity from the Storage Schema (SSDL) during Model Update from Database????

The datatable is created using Hibernate and is a join table between two classes mapping a many to many relationship.     Using Sun Glassfish Enterprise server v2.1.1 I am using "alternatedocroot" via sun-web.xml for my web application to abstract out static content from actual deploy-able code (EAR/WAR) What I have is a cluster of two server instances distributed across two physical hosts - HOST1 and HOST2. "alternatedocroot" points to /data/static-content/ on both HOST1 and HOST2. Would DAS (Domain application server )take care of syncing /data/static-content between HOST1 and HOST2 if I use syncinstances=true option while starting up the cluster? Thanks!

    I have a project that simply consists of files. I want to package those files into a zip and store them in a maven repository. I have the assembly plugin configured to build the zip file and that part works just fine, but I cannot seem to figure out how to install the zip file? Also, if I want to use this assembly in another artifact, how would I do that? I am intending on calling dependency:unpack, but I don't have an artifact in the repository to unpack.   • Log4r : logger inheritance, yaml configuration, alternatives ?

    Hello, I'm pretty new to ruby environments and I was looking for a nice logging framework to use it my ruby and rails applications. In my previous experiences I have successfully used log4j and log4p (the perl port) and was expecting the same level of usability (and maturity) with log4r. However I must say that there are a number of things that are not clear at all in the log4r framework. 1 Logger Inheritance The logger inheritance does not seem to be managed at all ! If I declare a logger named 'myapp' and then try to get a logger name 'myapp::engine', the lookup will end with a NameError. I would expect that the framework returns the root logger according to the naming scheme and to use the 'myapp' logger. Q1 : Of course I can work around this and manage the names by myself with a lookup method, however is there a cleaner way to do this without any extra coding ? 2 YAML configuration Second thing that confuses me is the yaml configuration. On the log4r site there are literally no information about this system, the doc links forward to missing pages, so all the info I can find about is contained in the examples directory of the gem. I was pretty confused with the fact that the yaml configuration must contain the pre_config section, and that I need to define my own levels. If I remove the pre_config secion, or replace all the “custom” levels by the standard ones ( debug, info, warn, fatal ) , the example will throw the following error : log4r/yamlconfigurator.rb:68:in `decode_yaml': Log level must be in 0..7 (ArgumentError) So there seems to be no way of using a simple file where we only declare the loggers and appenders for the framework. Q2 : I realy think that I missed something and that must be a way of providing a simple yaml conf file. Do you have any examples of such an usage ? 3 Variables substitution in XML file Q3 : The Yaml configuration system seems to provide such a feature however I was unable to find a similar feature with XML files. Any ideas ? 4 Alternatives ? I must say that I'm very disappointed by the feature level and the maturity of log4r compared to the log4j and other log4j ports. I run into this framework with a solid background of logging APIs in other languages and find myself working around in all kinds just to make 'basic things' running in a “real world application”. By that I mean a complex application composed of several gems, console/scripting apps, and a rails web front end where the configuration must be mutualized and where we make intensive usage of namespaces and inheritance. I've run several searches in order to find something more suitable or mature, but did not find anything similar. Q4 : Do you guys know any (serious) alternatives to log4r framework that could be used in a enterprise class app ? Thanks reading all of this ! I'd really appreciate any pointers, Kind Regards,
