    I am creating a calendar in PHP and in the database have a date, let's say 6-10-10. Sometimes I have repeating events, stored as weekly repeating, so if the date is 6-10-10, and I am repeating an event every two weeks from that day (including that day) what is the best way to find dates for every two weeks from 6-10-10? For example, let's say the date is 7-8-10, how can I check to see that date meets my criteria?

    Hi Does SQUID (for Windows specifically) it have an interface for reviewing internet usage? More specifically if I wanted a way to track, for my PC at work, it's internet usage on a per application/service basis (e.g. browser vs calendar synch service etc), would SQUID for Windows help me here? (i.e. would it act as a transparent proxy for anything running on my PC, then keep a history of internet usage against which process requested the access)

    How do I add a cordova plugin made on 1.6.0 to a 2.2.0 cordova project for iOS? Upgrade the 1.6.0 project to 1.7.0, then 1.8.0 and so on (doesn't feel right)? Or how do I resolve the current callback signature on the new Cordova(2.2.0) that uses "(CDInvokedURL *)command" as parameter instead of (NSDictionary *)options? More specifically, I am trying to add the Calendar Plugin for iOS to a Cordova 2.2.0 project.

  • Form value not passed to Seam bean after a4j reRender

    I'm making a webapp in Seam but ran into a problem I can't seem to fix. I have a JSF form where the customer can select a reservation type through a combobox. Based on the selected value, other form components gets rendered. For example: the customer selects Hours as reservation type, a panelGroup gets rendered where the customer can select a start- and an end hour. But if the customer would select 'part of the day' as reservation type, a selectOneMenu gets rendered where the customer can select a part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) The rerendering well but the values of the components with a rendered conditional won't get passed to the bean. They stay null values.   • List of valid characters for the fragment identifier in an URL?

    I'm using the fragment identifier to create a permalink for AJAX events in my web app similar to this guy. Something like: http://www.myapp.com/calendar#filter:year/2010/month/5 I've done quite a bit of searching but can't find a list of valid characters for the fragment idenitifer. The W3C spec doesn't offer anything. Do I need to encode the characters the same as the URL in has in general? There doesn't seem to be any good information on this anywhere.

    Most of the sites capture the date (e.g. birth date) information as either a single entity (i.e via a calendar control) or instead as separate fields (date, month, year). Are there any benefits in showing them as separate fields? Are they represented in the database as DATE data type or as separate fields. I am just trying to understand the pros & cons of representing the date field.
