  • What happened to MS AJAX Library 4.0

    I started to use the ms ajax 4.0 client library during the beta stages(the client template bits) and since I have upgraded to vs 2010 rtm I wanted to update my ajax code as well but I can't find anything about the library in the official rtm bits. Has it been completely replaced by jquery?

  • Query between SQL server and Client side

    I create a query: Select * from HR_Tsalary where month='3' and year ='2010' the result is 473 records and I found 2 duplicate record, then I create another query to find duplicate record only: SELECT Emp_No, COUNT(*) FROM HR_Tsalary WHERE year = '10' AND month = '3'GROUP BY Emp_No HAVING COUNT(*) 1 the result is zero record from client side (thru Visual Basic Adodb code). But when I use same query from server the result is 2 records. Is there any different when create a query between from server side and client side?

  • Disable AND and OR keywords

    In VB.net the ANDALSO and ORELSE keywords should basically always be prefered over the AND and OR keywords. What is the easiest way to disable the AND and OR keywords? I'm thinking FXCop (maybe somebody has already written this rule). Maybe just some setting in VS (we're currently using 2008 and are moving to 2010 end of the summer) I'm open for all suggestions.

And unfortunately I get the following error: org.apache.cayenne.CayenneRuntimeException: [v.3.0 Apr 26 2010 09:59:17] Commit Exception Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'myDatabase.auto_pk_support' doesn't exist Any idea how i could solve this issue?     The line cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); cmd.CommandText CREATE TRIGGER subscription_trig_0 ON subscription AFTER INSERT AS UPDATE user_data SET msg_count=msg_count+1 FROM user_data JOIN INSERTED ON user_data.id = INSERTED.recipient; The exception: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'TRIGGER'. Then using VS 2010, connected to the very same file (a mdf file) i run the query above and i get a success message. WTF!

    I am using Eazfuscator.NET 3.0.41 to obfuscate a (VS 2010) WPF 4 application. After obfuscating, when I double click the exe file it's throwing an error message like this. "Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException" Is there a way I could enable some sort of a logging to check where it's going wrong ? How can I solve this problem? please advice

    Hi I am using visual studios 2010 and created a javascript file(jscript.js) and I saw on one page saying you can make constant variables in javascript like: const x = 20; bu to on another page I read it says you can't. So I am confused now what is it now? Also in Visual studios when I write "const" it underlines it in the javascript file and goes syntax error.

    Hello, I'm experiencing something really strange with my javascript in chrome with Date().format. If I use the console and type: d = new Date(Date.parse("2010-05-28")) d.format("yyyy-MM-dd"); "" d._toFormattedString(); "Fri May 28 2010 00:00:00 GMT+0200 (W. Europe Daylight Time)" Anyone got any clue why I get an empty string? And it's only in Chrome, didn't happen in Chrome 4, and it doesn't happen in IE8/Firefox3.5
