• Enabling scrollbar in EditText Android

  I have an EditText on my layout. Below are the attributes I currently have: <EditText android:id="@+id/entryIdea" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="225sp" android:gravity="top" android:background="@android:drawable/editbox_background" android:scrollbars="vertical"/> However, I can see the scrollbar but can't scroll it with mouse/touch. I thought that it may works if I put the corresponding listener since it works on TextView. Apparently, it isn't. EditText et = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.entryIdea); et.setMovementMethod(new ScrollingMovementMethod()); Can you guys help me on this? Thank you so much in advance. Sammy

• How do i get a document index so i can delete with lucene?

  Basically i am doing this I think i'll set the document id as the thread id on my site (even if some types of thread wont be searched). So i can search by thread id but i am clue less of how to delete. I found pages that say use the document index and i need to optimize or close before changes take effect but i dont know how to get the document index. How do i? Also i seen one that said to use IndexWriter to delete but i couldnt figure out how to do it with that either.

Result ImageController.prototype.getImage = function(req, res) { var realty_id, _this = this; realty_id = req.query.id; if ((realty_id != null) But actually the last line should be: if ((typeof realty_id !== "undefined" && realty_id !== null)) When I comment out "realty_id = req.query.id" it works well. Has anyone a explanation for that?

  So, I have three arrays like this: [items] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [id] => someid [title] => sometitle [author] => someauthor ... ) ... ) and also a string with comma separated words to blacklist: $blacklist = "some,words,to,blacklist"; Now I need to match these words with (as they can be one of) id, title, author and show results accordingly.   I'm sure this is simple, but I can't seem to find the answer. While using wx.MDIParentFrame, I open a new window with wx.MDIChildFrame.   Hi! I'm new to Qlikview and looking for some answers regarding scripting. How can I create Qlickview joins that just join on a specific column (and not all that are having a matching name)? Let's say that I'm having the following tables: Employee Id | Person | DepartmentID | Flags 1000 , Bob , 2001 , 1000000 1001 , Sue , 2002 , 1100000 Department Id | Name | Flags 2001 , HR , 01101111 2001 , R&D , 1100000 What is the best way of joining those tables on the DepartmentID <- ID field? The data is provided by SQL selects. I'm thinking of writing SQL views using unique names would be one idea, but there must be a simpler way. Please advice Kind regards, Karl

• Hover image - part of forms appears untill hover another How?

  Im trying to make part of my form/questionnaire appears when hover on image and stay active untill hover another image next to it. and repeat it on 7 images. Of course I need the cheched checkboxes to stay after they'll be hidden so you can come back to them by hover the image and for ex. correct answers and so on..   Hi Based on the following table ID Effort Name ------------------------- 1 1 A 2 1 A 3 8 A 4 10 B 5 4 B 6 1 B 7 10 C 8 3 C 9 30 C I want to check if the total effort against a name is less than 40 then add a row with effort = 40 - (Total Effort) for the name. The ID of the new row can be anything. If the total effort is greater than 40 then trucate the data for one of the rows to make it 40. So after applying the logic above table will be ID Effort Name ------------------------- 1 1 A 2 1 A 3 8 A 10 30 A 4 10 B 5 4 B 6 1 B 11 25 B 7 10 C 8 3 C 9 27 C I was thinking of opening a cursor, keeping a counter of the total effort, and based on the logic insert existing and new rows in another temporary table. I am not sure if this is an efficient way to deal with this. I would like to learn if there is a better way.

But @case.Id is not set until the transaction is committed. Is that expected behavior? I would very much like to get the Id before committing. Can it be done?

I don't understand. Is there any specific documentation in CakePHP that I can refer to? I know there is a CookBook in Cakephp web site, but I couldn't find the relevant infromation.

  Hi, I have two tables. they looks like as follows: Id (int) Tags char(128). the column Tags in table A does not have value. It is empty. The column Tags in table B has value. What I want to copy the Tags in table B to corresponding place of table A. the mapping is based on Id. My sql query is: update A INNER JOIN B set A.Tags = B.Tags where A.Id = B.Id There are about 2,000,000 rows in table A, and 50,000 rows in table B. The update seems very slow.... Could anyone tell me how to make it run faster?
