  I would like to have this piece of code in my .aspx file: <input class="ms-ButtonHeightWidth" type="button" name="BtnOK" id="Button2" value="Close" onclick="javascript:HandleOKButtonClick()" accesskey="<%$Resources:wss,okbutton_accesskey%>" /> Unfortunately, ASP.net doesn't seem to like that: An error occurred during the processing of /_layouts/MyPage/Info.aspx. Literal expressions like '<%$Resources:wss,okbutton_accesskey%>' are not allowed. Use <asp:Literal runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:wss,okbutton_accesskey%>" /> instead That doesn't work in this situation as that would mean nesting the Literal between the quotes of the accesskey attribute, which causes a "The tag contains duplicate 'ID' attributes" error. Is there a way to use a string from a resource without having to change the input to an asp:Button? I guess there has to be a way using <%=, but I don't know how I would address the resource itself?

  I am using coredata framework. In my NSManagedObjectModel i am using three entities that are Class, Student and Score where class and student have one-to-many & inverse relationship and Student and Score have also inverse but one-one relationship. Score entity has all optional attributes and having default '0' decimalVaue, which is not assigned at the time new Student is added. But later i want to assign them score individually and also to particular attribute not all of score attributes in a go. I am able to create and add Students to particular Class but dont have any idea how to call particular student and assign them score. For example I want to assign Score'attribute "dribbling" [there are many attributes like "tackling"] a decimal value to Student "David" of Class "Soccer" ,how i can do that?   I'm using ADO.Net's ExecuteNonQuery to call a stored procedure, works like a charm stand-alone but when implementing it where it should be called I'm running into problems concerning transactions. For example System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Transaction count after EXECUTE indicates a mismatching number of BEGIN and COMMIT statements. Previous count = 1, current count = 0. and also a timeout right after that. I've just found out the method which calls the stored procedure is marked with the following WCF attribute: [OperationBehavior(TransactionScopeRequired = true, TransactionAutoComplete = true)] How will this influence the call my stored procedure? How can I tell .Net to execute the stored procedure outside this transaction? The stored procedure contains insert statements and also a transaction, but removing them doesn't change the behavior...

• Ria Services loading foreign keys with Linq-to-SQL

  I have a database that consists of 5 tables : Course, Category, Location, CourseCategories, and CourseLocations. The last 2 tables just contain the two foreign keys. A Course has many-to-many relationships with both category and location. I am trying to load the data into a Silverlight app using Ria Services. My DB model is Linq-to-SQL. I have tried adding the [Include] attribute to the metadata classes and I have added the DataLoadOptions so it should load the all tables when you ask for a Course. However on the client side I am never getting back any entries in the CourseCategories and CourseLocations properties. What else needs to be done to get the foreign key relationships to exist across the serialization.

If I use XmlSerializer xs = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Base)); SubClassObject = xs.Deserialize(fs) as SubClass; I noticed it will complain xsi:type is unknown attribute(I registered an event), although all information embedded in the XML was parsed successfully and members in SubClassObject was restored correctly. Anyone has any idea why there is error in parsing xsi:type and anything I did wrong? Thanks

  Spring-data-rest does a great job exposing entities via their primary key for GET, PUT and DELETE etc. operations. /myentityies/123 It also exposes search operations. /myentities/search/byMyOtherKey?myOtherKey=123 In my case the entities have a number of alternate keys. The systems calling us, will know the objects by these IDs, rather than our internal primary key. Is it possible to expose the objects via another URL and have the GET, PUT and DELETE handled by the built-in spring-data-rest controllers? /myentities/myotherkey/456 We'd like to avoid forcing the calling systems to have to make two requests for each update. I've tried playing with @RestResource path value, but there doesn't seem to be a way to add additional paths.

• Django dictionary in templates: Grab key from another objects attribute

  I have a dictionary called number_devices I'm passing to a template, the dictionary keys are the ids of a list of objects I'm also passing to the template (called implementations). I'm iterating over the list of objects and then trying to use the object.id to get a value out of the dict like so: {% for implementation in implementations %} {{ number_devices.implementation.id }} {% endfor %} Unfortunately number_devices.implementation is evaluated first, then the result.id is evaluated obviously returning and displaying nothing. I can't use parentheses like: {{ number_devices.(implementation.id) }} because I get a parse error. How do I get around this annoyance in Django templates? Thanks for any help!

  I need to create an input form that will allow a user to enter any number of values for a particular attribute. I've tried several approaches, all of which seem to have various levels of failure. The latest model bean looks something like: public class Product { private String name; private String[] tags; ...accessors... } The input fields look something like: <h:inputText id="name" value="#{product.name}"></h:inputText> <h:inputText id="tag0" value="#{product.tag[0]}"></h:inputText> My plan was to allow the user is to use javascript to add additional form fields as needed. This type of setup gives me a 'Target Unreachable' error. What am I missing? I am using JSF 1.1 on WebSphere 6.1

  I have two entities in core data (call them entityOne and entityTwo). I have a entityOne<---entityTwo relationship between them. I am now trying to code an NSPredicate to fetch entityTwo objects on the following basis: Fetch entityTwo objects that have a relationship with a specified entityOne object. Filter out those entityTwo objects which have no value for one of their attributes. I am best doing both of these in an NSPredicate or is there a better way? But, the problem occurs when I try to find the newly added script. I use this code to iterate through all script elements: var bAdd = true; $("script").each(function() { if(this.src == sFile) bAdd = false; }); (I need this code to prevent adding script that is already loaded) Problem is that all other script elements have src attribute set, but the newly added (dynamically) has not... Any idea?

• sqlite - Foreign keys in VS2008 Designer

  Hello I'm starting over to use strong typed datasets in VS 2008 with sqlite and running into a problem. I have some tables that have foreign keys allready defined in the database. I can see those in the Server-Explorer. Now i create a new strong typed Dataset with the designer and add only one table from that realtion to the dataset. Then i like to add the second one and i get an error message "Unexpected error ... Source: Microsoft.VSDesigner; ErrorCode:-1" No Additional Info. The error does not occure if i add both tables at the same time (say i drag them from the serverexplorer). Is there any way to add subsequent tables to an dataset that are in relation(s) to alreay added once? Many thanks _rene

• jQuery text attribute selector

  I am trying to use the text attribute as a selector, but I can't quite grasp the behaviour, would really appreciate if someone could explain. For example given <span class="span_class"><a class="a_class">text</a></span>, $('a.a_class').text() gives "text" as expected. However $('a.a_class[text]') wouldn't match any elements, and neither would $('span.span_class > a.a_class[text]'), but $('span.span_class* > a.a_class[text]') would (although not in IE). The only workaround I can think of for IE, is loop through all anchors contained in a span, use .text() on each and match it against a certain criteria, but it seems slower than using in-built selectors. Anyone have better ideas?

  Is there a way to merge two primary keys into one and then cascade update all affected relationships? Here's the scenario: Customers (idCustomer int PK, Company varchar(50), etc) CustomerContacts (idCustomerContact int PK, idCustomer int FK, Name varchar(50), etc) CustomerNotes (idCustomerNote int PK, idCustomer int FK, Note Text, etc) Sometimes customers need to be merged into one. For example, you have a customer with the id of 1 and another with the id of 2. You want to merge both, so that everything that was 2 is now 1. I know I could write a script that updates all affected tables one by one, but I'd like to make it more future proof by using the cascade rules, so I don't have to update the script every time there is a new relationship added. Any ideas?

  I'm trying to parse a rss feed that looks like this for the attribute "date": <rss version="2.0"> <channel> <item> <y:c date="AA"></y:c> </item> </channel> </rss> I tried several different versions of this: (rssFeed contains the RSS data) println(((rssFeed \\ "channel" \\ "item" \ "y:c" \"date").toString)) But nothing seems to work. What am I missing? Any help would really be appreciated!
