    Does anyone know how to create a 1:1 disk image of an Android phone? I am taking a forensics course and our final project involves creating tools to recover information from a suspect's Android based phone, however to do this we need to be able to create a 1:1 image of the phone's disk for baseline comparisons. Also would the image be loadable into AVD?

  • Problem with reusing UITableViewCell's

    I have a UITableView that is re-using cells when the user scrolls. Everything appears and scrolls fine, except when the user clicks on an actual row, the highlighted cell displays some text from another cell.   • How to have localized style when writing cell with xlwt

    I'm writing an Excel spreadsheet with Python's xlwt and I need numbers to be formatted using "." as thousands separator, as it is in brazilian portuguese language. I have tried: style.num_format_str = r'#,##0' And it sets the thousands separator as ','. If I try setting num_format_str to '#.##0', I'll get number formatted as 1234.000 instead of 1.234. And if I open document in OpenOffice and format cells, I can set the language of the cell to "Portuguese (Brazil)" and then OpenOffice will show the format code as being "#.##0", but I don't find a way to set the cell's language to brazilian portuguese. Any ideas?

    Hi, I have a jquery datepicker and I need to be able to change the background color for the selected cell date, I'm trying with something like: $("#fecha").datepicker({ onSelect: function(value, date) { alert(date.css()); } }); hoping that the date parameter refers to the selected cell, but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestion? //Edit: The solution should let me have different cells with different colors setted dinamically, this is why I'm trying with onSelect instead of changing the css directly. The purpose is to have a calender with events established by the user. Thanks in advance.

    I have two Skype DualPhone 3088's. I signed in to Skype on one of the phone's, and it signed in to the account on both phone's. What I've been trying to do is have one phone signed in to one Skype account and the other signed into another account. I can't find anything to help on their website as when I browse to my specific product it redirects to their homepage. Is what I'm trying to do possible? If so, can someone help explain how to do it?

    I need to change the color of a cell in ReportViewer based on its value. 1) I got the first part down - I'm comparing the difference between two numbers like so: =IIf(Fields!variance.Value > 0) 2) Now how do I actually change the visual formatting of the cell? A web standards way would be to add a class - since then you can format the class to whatever you like, e.g. changing borders, typography, bacgkround color etc. Since ReportViewer sucks and doesn't have that functionality what should I use instead? Any hacks I could use?

    I have the following RewriteRule in my .htaccess to redirect from a friendly url to my main application file: RewriteRule ^\/(.*).html$ home/www/page.php?p=$1 [L] This should send any url that points to a html page to page.php with the url as a parameter that will be parsed by the app. This works for urls that look like http://www.example.com/hello.html The problem is that I get a 404 error when the url contains a directory path, for example: http://www.example.com/category/hello.html The error reads: "File does not exist: /home/www/category" Seems it is first looking for the 'category' path instead of processing the .htaccess Any ideas how to solve this?

  • Cannot connect Nexus One Phone to Android adb

    I am running Android SDK 2.2 and am trying to get the adb to connect to the Google Nexus One phone. Its a new phone, shipped straight from Google - haven't installed any apps on it yet. (I have Windows XP) Here is what I have done so far: Followed the instructions on setting up the device for development as given on the Android Developer's site: http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/device.html added android:debuggable="true" to my application manifest USB debuggable is checked on the phone downloaded the Device Drivers For Windows Revision 3 (this supports Nexus One phones) Went through the Hardware Installation wizard to install the device - the device shows up as "Android Composite ADB Interface". When I run adb devices on the shell, the device appears for a moment, then disappears. On the Eclipse console, I get the following message: [2010-11-13 11:54:42 - DeviceMonitor]Failed to start monitoring I have rebooted the pc several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, but I get the same error each time. As I was researching this problem, someone had recommended rebooting the phone. I am a bit confused by that - is that a soft or hard reboot? Do I just power the phone off/on and is there something more complex involved? Do I have to hard reboot it to reset to factory version - even though its brand new? Has anyone run into a similar problem? Any help on this would be great. I can't test my application on the device if the adb cannot view the device. Thanks so much in advance.

    Our company uses these fancy ShoreTel 230 phones. We make many phone calls from our custom built web based contact management system. It would be nice if our employees could click on a phone number from a webpage and have it automatically start dialing the number. (Similar to how iPhone handles this) Anyone every deploy something like this? I would imagine it would require some kind of background running ShoreTel process to accommodate this. 90% of our employees use PC (Windows 7) 10% use OS X Even a PC only solution would be great. Is this even possible and if so, where should one begin? Thanks!

  • Get DataGridView checkbox cell value?

    Hello guys. I'm having a strange issue here. I have a 3 column datagrid that is filled by a connection with the database. So far so good. I have an extra column, of checkbox type. I need to get it's value for perfoming a bulk operation on it. Here is the catch: When all cells are selected, it works fine. But when an user selects any cell that its not the first, software gives me a object reference exception. Here is the code public List<String> GetSelected() { List<String> selected = new List<String>(); foreach(DataGridViewRow row in datagrid.rows) { if ((Boolean)row.Cells[wantedCell].Value == true) { selected.Add(row.Cells[anotherCell]); } } } I tracked down the failure to the if-test, throwing a exception, because the value of the cell is read as null.     Hi In my app i'm using a UITableViewController ("grouped style") which in one of its section I want the user to be able to see what he had selected by making this cell colored and other "uncolored". Doing it by updating all cells' background color and reloading table data, each time user touches a cell (in didSelectRowAtIndexPath:) Problem is that there is some processing made in the didSelectRowAtIndexPath: so the color doesn't get changed right a way, rather in a bit delay after touch was made. (I gusse the processing is the resone for the tiny delay) Is there a better way of doing it? Any help will be appreciated Liron P.S. I'm new to all of this...

I would like something that can integrate with Exchange and Active Directory (in-phone searching/calling by name (is this possible using SIP ?), etc) and if possible something not too expensive (Bye bye Cisco !), what do you recommend me ? I've heard of 3CX as IPBX and Aastra as Phones, are they good for this ? Or do you know something else good at this ? I've also seen some Alcatel IP Phones doing this (search by name, but I think that was a separated address book and not loaded from AD/Exchange) Thank you !

So we set the id fields manually. phone.order_id = phone.purchaseOrderPosition.order_id phone.order_position_id = phone.purchaseOrderPosition.order_position_id return phone Everything works fine except that on a session.flush() executed later in the application SQLAlchemy tries to write the created Phone object to the database (which fortunatly doesn't succeed, because phone.state is longer than the data type allows), which breaks the function which issues the flush.
