  • jar dependencies in android- no class definition found exception

    I'm trying to use the gdata java client library on android and have managed a decent hack to get it working. However because the jar for gdata had some package discrepancies with android I had to import the source into my project. This source is dependent on the JavaMail API and the JavaBeans Activation Framework as specified here. My issue is that the JavaMail jar throws a class definition not found when seeking a class which is in the Activation Framework jar. A stack trace is listed below. I am working in Eclipse and have both jars in a lib folder and added to my build path.     I'd like to script p4 a little. Unfortunately, some of the filenames that we're tracking have "@" in the filename. The filenames are in the form [email protected]. If I try to do something like p4 sync a\@b.xml on a mac (or p4 sync [email protected] on windows) it gives the error: Invalid changelist/client/label/date '@b.xml' Is there another way to escape it that perforce will recognize?

  • mysql: can't set max_allowed_package to anything grater than 16MB

    I'm not sure if this is the right place to post these kind of questions, if it's not so, please (politely) let me know... :-) I need to save files greater than 16MB on a mysql database from a php site...     I have a client and server, client sending file to server. When i transfer files on my computer(in local) everything is ok(try to sen file over 700mb).     Can anyone tell me why this command doesn't work from the MongoDB shell client: db.coll.update({'live':true},{$set:{'mask':"\D\D\D\D\D\D\D\D"}},false,true) but db.coll.findOne({'id':'someId'}) returns the mask field as: "mask" : "DDDDDDDD", Where are the slashes going?     Hi, Is it possible to have the icons in a TabBar and / or the "More navigation controller" be in colors other than grey and black? I tried changing the color of the icon I set for the view controller using UITabBarItem's - (id)initWithTitle:(NSString *)title image:(UIImage *)image tag:(NSInteger)tag method. My client thinks the interface is too dark and want's to brighten it up with some colorful icons... Thanks!

    I follow the instruction on http://lucene.apache.org/solr/tutorial.html and I can setup Solr on my PC. Now when I come to my VPS I cannot overcome the step: $ java -jar start.jar Afer running that command, search service is available at http: //x.x.x.x:8983/solr/select . But, Whenever I close the SSH client, the service on http: //x.x.x.x:8983/solr/select is also closed. So I can't search any more. What should I do? Thanks for any help.

  • Print/save full webpage as PDF

    I need a method to be able to print/save the current full webpage as a PDF. I know it can be done if I download a PDF printer and print to that; but I need it to be done without the user having to do anything other than click a button in a webpage. I can't do it via PHP as the page is all client side content, so I'm guessing an ActiveX component? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks

  • Show hidden scrollbar

    A client is opening our website into a popup window using JavaScript with window.open. They are turning off scrollbars and making the window a fixed height, causing the pages to not be scrollable. I control the code of the website being loaded this way, but not the calling JavaScript. Is there any way I can force the display of scrollbars?
