  • 50 million+ Rows of Data - CSV or MySQL

    Hello, I have a CSV file which is about 1GB big and contains about 50million rows of data, I am wondering is it better to keep it as a CSV file or store it as some form of a database. I don't know a great deal about MySQL to argue for why I should use it or another database framework over just keeping it as a CSV file. I am basically doing a Breadth-First Search with this dataset, so once I get the initial "seed" set the 50million I use this as the first values in my queue. Thanks,

On my computer(the development PC) it executes the newest version of the exe and dll's but on the computer of my fellow(he is not a developer and cant debug it) an older version is executed. He has overwritten all files with the new version: I dont know where to start looking for the reason.

  • Passwordless SSH using cgi-perl script

    Hello, This is my first shot at trying out cgi-perl scripts. I have SSH keys set up between my (root user) local machine and a remote machine. I'm trying to run a command on the remote box and display the output on a webpage hosted from my local machine. The script runs fine from command line however, it throws SSH key error when called from the webpage because the user running the script is apache and not root. Is there a way to get around this issue?

    Hello, i'm using mootools.js, i have this code: this.html.chat_title = new Element('span', {'id' : 'chat_title', html : 'this is the title'}).inject(this.html.container); The problem is: span id="chat_title" html="this is the title" as you see it doesn't put the text inside the HTML of the tag but as an attribute.     Hello, I use code-generation for my data access layer and Doxygen for documentation. My problem is that I can't add Xml comments on the generated classes since they will be overwritten as soon as I re-generate the code. To be more precise I can add Xml comments to my custom methods (which are in a separate file as partial classes) but I can't do it on data properties. Any suggestions?
