Could someone help me find a function which will return a FILE* and use the Windows specific version of mkdir in order to create the folder structure for fopen to never fail to open a new file in the specified location because one of the folders does not exist. I've seen references that shellpipe might need to be set a specific way, but that refers to an earlier version of VIM. How should I be using HTML-tidy with VIM, and do I need to mess with shellpipe to get it to work with WinXP?

Since MFC is just C++, is there any reason you couldn't use the latest version with an older version of VC++...
