  • Admin now missing from Authors dropdown

    I've been running my Wordpress install for months with 2 users, the original administrator which I use and another admin account created for my co-admin. We've been posting fine, no issues, all was great. Two days ago I created another user, and now whenever I log in as the original admin (my account) I am no longer in the authors dropdown list. Any new users I create show up, but my original account is no longer listed. I can't figure out what's going on, nor how to restore myself.

  • Accessing current user personal certificate store within windows service

    I am working on an application which accesses a x.509 certificate from the current user store. This works fine when the application is run as an executable. However, when I try running the app as a windows service, it fails to find the certificate. I tried changing the LogOn property for the windowsservice console to set the right user, but that did not help. Is there any way I can access the particular user's (Administrator) certificate store? I am bound to use the certificate in the user store - else I can easily use the local machine store. Any help will be appreciated.

  • User interface for addition/deletion of items to a list?

    I have a ban list that I'm building as part of an application that displays articles. This ban list will contain keywords, which if found in an article, would lead to the article disabled(the article will not be displayed on the front-end) I'm having a tough time visualizing the UI. I could always display a textarea and ask the user to enter keywords comma separated and when they want to delete again the textarea will be presented and they can edit the entered keywords. But I find my idea very unfriendly to the user. My question is how do I program the UI so that its easy to add new keywords. I also would like to be adviced on a nifty way showing the existing keywords and also deleting them. This ban list will be part of the admin panel/backend and will be accessible only to the site administrator.

    I have a thread pool that loops over a bunch of pages and checks to see if some string is there or not.     I am trying to run a C++ program and am getting the following error message when I try to run the program using - Codeblocks IDE and SQL API: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Process returned 3 (0x3) execution time : 7.547 s Press any key to continue." The program compiles fine but on execution throws this error. My current OS is Windows server 2003 - SP2 (32 bit). Also program compiles and executes fine on Windows XP (32 bit) without any hassles. I checked the services (services.msc) running on my XP machine and compared with Windows server 2003 and found the settings same. Can someone please have a look and help me resolve the issue? thanks, Dhruv

  • Debugging (displaying) SQL command sent to the db by SQLAlchemy

    I have an ORM class called Person, which wraps around a person table: After setting up the connection to the db etc, I run the ff statement. people = session.query(Person).all() The person table does not contain any data (as yet), so when I print the variable people, I get an empty list. I renamed the table referred to in my ORM class People, to people_foo (which does not exist). I then run the script again. I was surprised that no exception was thrown when attempting to access a table that does not exist. I therefore have the following 2 questions: How may I setup SQLAlchemy so that it propagates db errors back to the script? How may I view (i.e. print) the SQL that is being sent to the db engine If it helps, I am using PostgreSQL as the db

  • Android emulator-5554 offline

    I'm having a problem with emulator-5554, it keeps telling me it is offline. When I do a 'adb devices' from the command line it says emulator-5554 offline Even after a fresh restart, I try that command and it still says it is offline. The problem is when I try to install .apk files to the emulator using 'abd install path' from the command prompt, it tells me that it is offline, if I create another device and run that one, then try to install the .apk files, it says i have too many devices connected. So in other words, I can't install my .apk files. How in the world can I get rid of that damn emulator-5554? I heard that if you do a restart, it should clear all the devices, but that does not seem to be working. It is like it is getting initialized when my computer starts up. Has anyone run into this issue? Thanks

    I have a process under the Run key in the registry. It is trying to access an environment variable that I have defined in a previous session. I'm using ExpandEnvironmentStrings to expand the variable within a path. The environment variable is a user profile variable. When I run my process on the command line it does not expand as well. If I call 'set' I can see the variable. Some code...   • [as3] Movieclip.width returns higher value than Movieclip stage on Width.

    I have a Movieclip on stage with nested movieclips inside. All referenced at 0,0. None of the child movieclips load any dynamic content, animate or have Masked Layers. It does have an input textfield in one of the child MCs. The parent MC shows 280 px width, while it returns 313 px with a .width trace. There is no code that alters the .width value of the parent MC at run-time. And the ParentMC on stage is not scaled (it is at 100% width/height). Any pointers, to what could be the reasons for the discrepancy in .width values on stage and on run-time? Its breaking the scaling code that follows.

  • Controlling rsync with Python?

    I've been wanting to write a python script that would run several instances of rsync in sequence for backing up data to a different computer. At the moment I just have this text file with the commands I use and I've just been copy-pasting them into the terminal, and it seems kinda silly. I want to be able to use python to do this for me. I know very vaguely how to use subprocess.popen, but I have no clue how to get python to interact with rsync directly, like for entering my password for me. Can python do that? Something like: if theProccess.proccessResponse == "Password:" : theProccess.respond(string) Or is the best that I can do is just have it, or even a bash script, just run the rsyncs in sequence and have to type my password in over and over again?     Hi, I need some help with a python service. I have a service written in Python. What I need to do is to pass it some arguments. Let me give you an example to explain it a bit better. Lets say I have a service, that does nothing but writes something to a log. I'd like to write the same thing into the log several times, so I use a loop. I would like to pass the counter for the loop when I start the service, but I have no idea how. I start the service with: win32serviceutil.HandleCommandLine(WinService) I'm looking for something like win32serviceutil.HandleCommandLine(WinService,10) I don't really care how its done, as long as I can pass arguments to it. Have been trying to get this to work for the better part of the day with no luck. Also, the service isn't run directly, but is imported and then run from there.

  • Jython: Is there any difference between adding to sys.path vs passing -D?

    I have a python application that is trying to load some Java libraries (specifically Axis2 web services). When I add the necessary jars in Eclipse via PyDev Project Source Folders, everything seems to work fine. However, I want to be able to do this at run time by adding to sys.path, but then my application doesn't seem to work. In both cases I can load the jars just fine, but something must be different for there to be different results. My question is, is there a difference between adding jars via the sys.path at run time with sys.path.append() versus passing -D to the jython interpreter?

  • Junit test that creates other tests

    Normally I would have one junit test that shows up in my integration server of choice as one test that passes or fails (in this case I use teamcity). What I need for this specific test is the ability to loop through a directory structure testing that our data files can all be parsed without throwing an exception. Because we have 30,000+ files that that 1-5 seconds each to parse this test will be run in its own suite. The problem is that I need a way to have one piece of code run as one junit test per file so that if 12 files out of 30,000 files fail I can see which 12 failed not just that one failed, threw a runtimeexception and stopped the test. I realize that this is not a true "unit" test way of doing things but this simulation is very important to make sure that our content providers are kept in check and do not check in invalid files. Any suggestions?

  • Notepad++ regular expression find and replace $_REQUEST with $_GET but a more secure

    What I am doing is replacing, in a large program, all $_REQUEST['var'] and mysql_escape_string($_REQUEST['var']) with either the 1st or 2nd line below the dotted line. Now, I have figured out this much of the regular expression but I would like to make it simpler. Instead of having to run the top one first then the 2nd one I would like to just run one all together. I tried this but it did not work. (mysql_escape_string\()*$_REQUEST\[\'([^']*)\'\]\)(\)*) So below is what works but again have to do it twice. $_REQUEST\[\'([^']*)\'\] mysql_escape_string\($_REQUEST\[\'([^']*)\'\]\) (isset($_GET['\1'])?mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['\1']):false) (isset($_POST['\1'])?mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['\1']):false) ============================ Update: Yeah, after some research I figured out that Notepad++ does not support most regular expressions. I guess one additional step can not hurt a person. It's just laziness. *NOTE: BUT if anyone wants to try feel free to comment. At least it is just 2 steps and not 20.

    Hi all, I have one site to test, when I run it with my BrowserFieldDemo (in JDE sample)m just display text site, but with the same link, run on Blackberry native browser, it displays properly, and have Zoom in function to zoom. I think the problem here is the size of my site, it's too large. I've tried some different sites and see that the result is same on two browsers, but with this test site, it's unexpected result. Anyone can suggest some solutions for me to fix it? Or explain for me how Blackberry browser can know to resize web page automatically (when it loads the large web page). Thank for any help,

    I'm currently trying to write a script that gets messages from my gmail account but I'm noticing a problem. If poplib loops through a message in my inbox it will never loop through it again.   • How to set Main Inerface in xCode programatically

    I am using Apples MultipleDetailViews http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#samplecode/MultipleDetailViews/Introduction/Intro.html for template as a source for my iPad app. The template is using a splitviewController in the interface builder (MainWindow). In the iPhone/iPad Deployment info of the target, MainWindow is set as the "Main Interface". I want my app to also run on iPhone. This means I need to load a different xib when the app is run on an iPhone. I must then remove "MainWindow" from "Main Interface" because the app will crash when I load on an iPhone due to the splitViewController. The AppDeleagte of the template look like this: - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions { self.window = [[[UIWindow alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds]]; self.window.rootViewController = self.splitViewController; [self.window makeKeyAndVisible]; } If I remove "Main Window" from "Main Interface", how do I then need to change the APpDelegate, or maybe I need to change the MainWindow.xib to also work for iPhone?

  • How to open an html file using the default file handler and to give the window a name (i.e. target)?

    I am writing a warm-up script for a SharePoint server. The idea is to call stsadm and then open an html file containing iframes which touch all the key web pages in my portal. So far so good. The problem is that each time the script is run, a new browser window is opened and I end up with a screen full of browsers. The first idea was to close the browser after 10 minutes or so. This would be easy to do except that Javascript is disabled when an html file is opened from the file system. I then thought I might be able to open the file and set it in a named window (target) which would be reused each time the script runs but I haven't found any way to do this. Does anyone have any ideas? Either to force JS to run or to set the window name or another solution? Thanks.

  • Distributing requests to Selenium Grid RC's?

    I've got a situation here where I have a central selenium grid hub, and several RC's running on my gogrid account. When I access it to run tests, it basically queues all the incoming test requests and executes them serially on only one of the RC's, instead of spreading them out to use available RC's. The tests come from multiple projects, so I'm not looking to parallelize the tests themselves, just to split the requests that come from multiple projects across the multiple RC's. From everything I've read, it seems like selenium grid should be doing this already, yet I only see one RC used to run every single test. Is there something I'm missing?
