  • IE-only Styling for jQuery qTip

    I'm using jquery.qTip on http://comps.gunnjerkens.com/phws/services/ Looks beautiful with the drop shadow and rounded borders in modern browsers...unfortunately the drop shadow is lost on IE. So I want to specify an IE-only rule that makes the border a different color than white. In textarea i have just written "Sample Text", but when i load the ckeditor and click on source button of ckeditor it gives me a lot of html like html body p [Sample Text]. Why its creating extra html tags?? i have to send the content to database for saving html but ckeditor is adding extra markups. any workaround? or what i am doing worng?

  • NSScrollView - pattern background - how to start from top-left corner?

    To fill NSScrollview with pattern image I use - (void)setBackgroundColor:(NSColor *)aColor method where aColor is created with + (NSColor *)colorWithPatternImage:(NSImage *)image method. Despite of what isFlipped returns for NSScrollView and its content view, pattern start repeat from bottom-left corner while I want it to start from top-left corner. How can I achieve that?

    Hi all, I have created a default style for a Button including a custom ControlTemplate like so: <Style TargetType="{x:Type Button}"> <Setter Property="OverridesDefaultStyle" Value="True"/> <Setter Property="Background" Value="White"/> <Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="Black"/> <!-- ...other property setters... --> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type Button}"> <Grid x:Name="gridMain"> <!-- some content here --> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> This style is added to my shared ResourceDictionary which is loaded by every control. Now, this style/template is applied to all my buttons, as expected, but it is NOT applied to those buttons which locally use a different style. For example, I want to have a certain margin for my "OK", "Apply" and "Cancel" buttons. Therefore, I defined the following style: <Style x:Key="OKApplyCancelStyle" TargetType="{x:Type Button}"> <Setter Property="Margin" Value="4,8"/> <Setter Property="Padding" Value="8,6"/> <Setter Property="MinWidth" Value="100"/> <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="16"/> </Style> ...and applied that style to my buttons using a StaticResource: <Button Content="OK" Style="{StaticResource OKApplyCancelStyle}"/> For me, the expected result would be that the ControlTemplate above would still be applied, using the values for Margin, Padding, MinWidth and FontSize from the "OKApplyCancelStyle". But this is not the case. The default Windows ControlTemplate is used instead, using the values from the style. Is this the typical behavior? Does a local style really override a custom ControlTemplate? If so, how can I achieve my desired behavior? I.e. still use my custom ControlTemplate even when styles are defined locally?   • Trouble setting IE8 browser mode to IE7

    Inspite of putting the following meta tag I am not getting the expected result: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" > I open the developer tool window. In the same bar where the menu appears there is an item called Browser Mode: it still shows IE 8 by default. Even doing document.documentMode in the console window shows "8". Am I doing anything wrong?

When I select a node I want to dynamically build Accordion Items based on Properties from DataContext of selected node. Selecting nodes works fine, and when I use this sample code for testing it works also.   • WPF - Only want one expander open at a time

    I have a UserControl with a templated grouped listbox with expanders and only want one expander open at any time. I have browsed through the site but haven't found anything except binding the IsExpanded to IsSelected which isn't quite what I want. I am trying to put some code in the Expanded event that would loop through Expanders and close all the ones that aren't the expander passed in the Expanded event. I can't seem to figure out how to get at them. I've tried ListBox.Items.Groups but didn't see how to get at them and tried ListBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem (or Index) but nothing came back.
