  • Why is IE8 rendering superfish menu wrong?

    I am useing the superfish jquery plugin If you view the superfish menu here: clicky the drop-downs show correctly (above the main content) in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE6, IE7 But for some reason they fall behind the main content in IE8. I already set the z-index for the superfish menu which IE7 wasnt working right until I did so, but it didn't fix IE8. Am I missing something?

    Hello, I'm replacing some text with cufon on my page and I'm using jquery stylish select box plugin (http://www.scottdarby.com/plugins/stylish-select/0.4/) to style select boxes. The problem is that, in IE6 and IE7, select box goes under the cufonized text. (the select box is actually an <ul>). Anyone had this issue before? Thanks, Adrian

    Hi, I've been testing this upload script and it looks really good, but i just can't get it to post values, that i have extracted from inputs. Everything is looking good and it seems I'm writing everything correctly but it just stops SWF DEBUG: Event: uploadStart : File ID: SWFUpload_0_0, there's my piece of code which causes these troubles .bind('uploadStart', function(event, file){ $(this).addPostParam( "title", "asd"); }) I'm using it as jquery plugin, maybe that's the problem?     Hi there, I'm playing with jQModal plugin and trying to display its window right after the page is loaded. I used this code in $(document).ready(function(): $('#letak').jqm({ overlay: 70, autofire: true }); autofire setting should do the trick but unfortunately it doesn't work.     I'm currently using the jQuery fullcalendar plugin but I've came across an issue regarding daylight savings time in Britain. After the daylight savings take effect the hours are being displayed an hour out of phase. The problem appears to be with the plugins parsing function. Can someone please provide me with the funciton to parse a UTC string which includes the 'Z' demonination into a local date time for display?

    I have a problem with the jqtouch bottom toolbar. Its a stationary bottom toolbar that is implemented with the iScroll plugin for jqtouch. When I want to switch between a page with a "right" slide transition effect I want to exclude the bottombar from also using the transition effect. The reason for this is because it looks weird when the bottom toolbar slides to the right.

  • Firebug is throwing a ' $( ' error?

    I am getting a strange error in Firebug, that I am not getting in Webkit. The error comes up as ' $( ' in firebug. Here's the code that is supposedly causing it to flip: $.getScript("http://kylehotchkiss.com/min/?g=packageHome", function() { $(".countdown").countdown({ until: new Date(2010, 6 - 1, 5), layout:'{dn} {dl}' }); }); The error isn't specific to the countdown script, it's just giving me an error trying to call any plugin I just loaded in firefox. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, when a link is clicked, the lightbox that is loaded starts at the same scroll position as the previous one.
