  hello guys, i ve got a problem with my programm. here is the link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2734432/TabbedInterface.7z once u have opened both tabs, u ll start loosing the references to other collections of the current item in the view. that is because these ids are nullable and once you switch over to the other tab they ll become null. my question is why and how can i corrent that behavoir? if you change the int? to int there are no more problem, but i need them to be nullable!

• Facebox window closes after submit

  Hi all I have a question regarding Facebox. When I click a certain link on my page, the Facebox modal window opens just fine. But inside this modal window I'd like to have a form that users can submit. When the users click the submit-button, the whole page refreshes, and my Facebox-window is closed. This makes sense to me, but I'd like it to work differently. I want to give the user a confirmation, inside of the modal window, after they have submitted the form. So when a user clicks the submit-button, a confirmation should be showed inside og the modal-window. Anybody know if this is possible? • Embedding an offline Dashcode application in a UIWebView in an iPhone application

  In order words, can anyone tell me the basics of how to create a "hybrid" iPhone application? I want to load the web content (the Dashcode app itself) from the native application's application bundle. I've gotten this to partially work, but some content won't display and it otherwise seems like Dashcode is assuming a certain Safari environment or something that I don't seem to have in my UIWebView. Can anyone provide a link to some sample code that embeds a Dashcode project into a cocoa touch Xcode project? (I did search around Google for a bit trying to find something and I failed to come up with anything worthwhile, except for some books that I might eventually buy if the approach seems worthwhile.)

• Best practice to calculate the average speed from GPS coordinates

  i have here a device which can give me gps coordinates. the time intervall i can define. i want to use it to calculate the average speed during driving or travelling by car. actually i used a orthodrome formula to calculate the distance between two points and then divided it by the given time intervall. by the implemenation i followed this term (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthodrome#Genauere_Formel_zur_Abstandsberechnung_auf_der_Erde). Unfortunately i could only find a german link, but i think the formula should be understandable in any language ;) Unfortunately, using this formula and a time intverall of 1 seconds gives very unprecises results. the speed while walking is between 1 km/h and 20km/h. So i wonder if there is a general reference how to implement distance calculation between two gps coordinates (i found something similar on SO) and particulary, which is the best time intervall to update the GPS coordiantes.

• Gridpanel auto resize on window resize

  I'm using the array-grid extjs example to try and fit a gridpanel into a container window. The problem is on resizing the container window, the gridpanel doesn't automatically fit the new size. As I understand it that's how it's supposed to work.   DataAnnotations does not work with buddy class. The following code always validate true. • Could not open Selected VM debug port (8700)

  I am trying to debug the android source using Eclipse by following the instructions found at: http://source.android.com/using-eclipse I have downloaded the source, and gotten it to build. I follow the directions in the link above and everything is fine until I run the ddms command. At this point, if Eclipse is running I get the error 'Could not open Selected VM debug port (8700)'. If I close Eclipse, then ddms runs with no problem, and I can the the processes on the emulator. However, if I now open Eclipse, I get the same error. In any case, no matter what I do, if I attempt to remote debug, it always fails with 'Failed to connect to remote VM'. Any ideas? Thanks

I don't want to download this dll from anywhere as I'm not sure if I can trust it. However it also says: "After research on the web I found that I have to create new AxMSTSCLib and MSTSCLib DLLs. So I did" How do I "create" this new AxMSTSCLib ? Other link, doesn't use this dll but run an script instead. _http://bytes.com/topic/c-sharp/answers/517024-remote-desktop-connection-c but that code throws Security Exception. So I cannot use it. • The web publishing extension is not installed which is required to publish

  I was tring to deploy an ASP.NET Web Application to a Windows Azure Web Site by following the tutorial through this link: https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/net/tutorials/get-started/ After download the public profile, which is a ".PublishSettings" file, I go back to Visual Studio and right-click the project in Solution Explorer and select Publish from the context menu as the tutorial said. However, a warning box jumped up and it showed me that "The Web Publishing extension is not installed which is required to publish. You can install it from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=208120." I already installed "Windows Azure SDK for .NET (VS 2012)" and I also tried to uninstall this and install again, but the same problem is still there. Anyone knows how to solve this? I am really appreciated.

  I'm trying to convert a database-driven multiple-choice-style study website (written in JSP) into an iPhone app using JQTouch. If I load all of the Q&A's into their own divs in the same file I can easily link and animate between them using links to hashtags, like: a class="button" href="#question22" Unfortunately this isn't practical. The logic of the website as it currently works requires calls to a number of dynamically generated pages; I can't include every question in its own div in the same flat file. How would I go about dynamically (pre)loading the next question (a JSP page like AskQuestion.jsp?questionId=Kzhctand ) then serving that up within the app after the user presses a button?   Hi everyone, I hope you can help. I'm very new to jQuery and am working on a five- or six-level accordion menu for my side navigation. I got the majority of the code I have so far from Dane Peterson @ daneomatic.com (thanks Dane!). But, I'm stuck on one thing: I'd like to have my accordion/tree work like this: When I navigate down into, say, level three, and click on the link to open the page linked to that level, how do I indicate once the level three page loads that I'm on that page? Also, how do I keep the tree open to that level when I load the page? I guess what I'm asking is: is there a way for the accordion/tree to automatically update to show what page you're at, and have the tree open to that level? Thanks in advance!

• How can I locate all the network printers in the enterprise?

  When I go to Printers and Faxes dialog, I can click the Add a printer link, select Network Printer, then Find a printer in the directory. From there I get a dialog box which lets me find ALL printers in the enterprise. I need to find all the network printers with my code. How can I do this? Note that I am not talking about network printers that are connected to my PC, but all network printers in the enterprise (my workplace has almost 4000 printers). P.S. • Accessing Google Spreadsheets with C# using Google Data API fails with Mono

  I'm trying to access my Google spreadsheets using the GData API. I have followed the example which looks like: var service = new SpreadsheetsService("myTest"); service.setUserCredentials(username, password); var query = new SpreadsheetQuery(); var feed = service.Query(query); This should return a feed with a list of spreadsheets. However this fails with: Google.GData.Client.GDataRequestException: Execution of request failed: http://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/spreadsheets/private/full --- System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. When I try the above link directly in my browser I'm able to download the feed, as long as I'm logged in into my Google account. Some further information: I'm not behind a firewall I have checked my username (maurits.rijk at gmail.com) and password several times I am using Mandriva in VirtualBox on a MacBook All my code is compiled with Mono I tried the same functionality in Java on OS-X. That code runs as expected.

• C# resize all elements in form when resizing form

  NOTE: I can't put more than one hyperlink so i deleted letter "h" on begining of every link I have this image as the background of the form: ttp://img811.imageshack.us/img811/3347/31886905.jpg So my form looks like this: ttp://img823.imageshack.us/i/cisto.jpg/ When i resize it it looks like this: ttp://img820.imageshack.us/i/cistoumanjeno.jpg/ Now what I need to do is to put listeners on every rextangle like on the picture: ttp://img810.imageshack.us/img810/238/18887457.jpg I made transparent panels and put them on form to match the rectangles on the image (on image, panels are green so you can see where they are): ttp://img809.imageshack.us/i/paneli.jpg/ but when I resize the form it turns like this: ttp://img810.imageshack.us/i/paneliumanjeno.jpg/ anchor and dock properties don't work because they rely on parent container and here rectangles are on background image. QUESTION: I would like to do something like "relative-resize and position". Is that posible? So when I resize form, all the panels fits the rectangles on image.

• How do the performance characteristics of jQuery selectors differ from those of CSS selectors?

  I came across Google's Page Speed add-on for Firebug yesterday. The page about using efficient CSS selectors said to not use overqualified selectors, i.e. use #foo instead of div#foo. I thought the latter would be faster but Google's saying otherwise, and who am I to go against that? So that got me wondering if the same applied to jQuery selectors. This page I found the link to on SO says I should use $("div#foo"), which is what I was doing all along, since I thought that things would speed up by limiting the selector to match div elements only. But is it really better than writing $("#foo") like Google's saying for CSS selectors, or do CSS versus jQuery element matching work in different ways and I should stick with $("div#foo")?

• CSS positioning breaks in Safari

  Hi all, i have a website in which i am trying to position (using CSS) a certain on the page. the is absolutely positioned and is located inside a relatively positioned paernt . on firefox and even IE it looks ok but on Safari, things get messy and it shows 5 pixels lower than it should. i have tried to figure out for days now what is wrong there but cannot seem to see it. you can find an example link to the problematic page here: http://yaronattar.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=117:the-new-lovers-2010&catid=51:the-new-lovers-2010&Itemid=242 the problematic is the one conaining the "previous/next" navigation at the bottom right corner of the page. anyone sees what is causing the trouble here? thanks

After some browsing I got here. But I can't find a version 1.6.7, like my TortoiseSVN installation. Also I'm a little bit lost, because of the many files. So where can I get svnadmin from?

• In Email, Image (img) Source (src) Tags are rewritten as relative links. How to fix?

  I'm working on sending out an html based email, and every time it sends the image src tags and some of the anchor href tags are modified to be relative url's. Update 2: This is happening between when the body of the email is generated and sent and when it arrives in my inbox. Update: I am using Postfix on a LAMPP server. In addition, I am using Zend_Mail to send the emails out. • Cannot open xls file in IE

  We have JSF web application that generates XLS file and gives user link to thes file. All works fine if access this file via HTTP. But IE(8) cannot open/save this xls file via HTTPS. There is following error message: Internet Explorer cannot download ...466088C5C313F92808BDB0AFF3447 from testhost. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. I can open the same document via HTTPS in Firefox and in Chrome. What can be the problem with IE? • How to set child unordered list position?

  Hi folks. I have a nav bar with children unordered lists nested under the main navbar items. My problem is on the inner list, when I position absolute, the inner list is centered to the page, and when I position relative, it is positioning inline with the parent list. • Bug with audio reCaptcha in safari

  Hi all, Can other Safari users please test http://recaptcha.net/learnmore.html for me, to see if the audio reCaptcha plays properly? On my machine, I can only hear the audio if I click the Download sound as MP3 link. I also don't get the spoken introduction at all. It works OK in Firefox and Chrome. I was alerted to this bug on my own development site, using the Zend Service for ReCaptcha. However, if it's broken on the official site, then I guess it's not a Zend bug. There don't seem to be any JavaScript errors. Any ideas?

• MKMapView - viewForAnnotation not called while loading more results

  I have a search enabled map view. When user hits search, my custom annotations are added to the map view. The search returns 20 results with a 'load more' link. When I hit load more, more annotations should be added to map view. The problem is - annotations gets added to the map view but is not displayed on the map. If I zoom in or zoom out to change the map region, the pins are shown. I find that viewForAnnotations: is not getting called when i hit 'load more'. I am not sure how to trigger this. any one?

• Why does CLLocationManager returns null locations on the iphone SDK 4 beta in the Simulator?

  Hi everyone, I have this piece of code: - (void)locationManager:(CLLocationManager *)manager didUpdateToLocation:(CLLocation *)newLocation fromLocation:(CLLocation *)oldLocation { NSLog(@"Manager did update location!!"); self.currentLocation = newLocation.description; } I have this code inside a class that conforms to the CLLocationManagerDelegate. I tested earlier in sdk 3.0 and works nice (on both simulator and device). I'm testing this class on the SDK 4, in the simulator, but it gives null as a newLocation. I can't even get the NSLog for the first call. I checked other app where I use the location framework and it doesn't work either. I implemented the locationManager:didFailWithError: message also, wich is never called. Can anyone please confirm that the simulator can't do any CLLocationManager capabilities? (a link where the bug is reported as a known issue will be awesome). Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
