  • What is the best way to observe the scroll over an element with overflow set?

    It's simple to observe the documents scroll event but I can't seem to find anything relating to the scroll of any other element with css property overflow being set? To get around this myself i've been observing mousemove which only fires while you hold down on the scrollbar but this would need to be teamed with a mouse wheel observe also to get the full effect. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a better way of implementing this?

    In a set of radio buttons of the same group, only one can be selected at the same time. I would like to have the same behaviour with a normal button. Imagine there's a row of 3 buttons. When a button is selected it changes: but.setSelected(true) and the other two buttons should be NOT selected: but.setSelected(false) Now, is there a generic, simple and clean solution to accomplish that in Java (Swing) ?

    Hi, I'm trying to configure a websetup for the first time for our ASP.NET application which consists of 11 web services. Is it possible to create an msi that will install the app and the 11 web services and also set-up the app pools & create the apps in IIS? Or would I need an individual setup for each web service?     Hi, I need to perform a simple update query where the update should only be done, if there is no value with updating value (item_name). For example, DB table [item_types] item_id(PK) | item_name Assuming there exist item_id with 6, My attempt is UPDATE item_types as k SET k.item_name = 'item_1' WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM item_types as a WHERE a.item_name = 'item_1') AND k.item_id = '6' But this gives me error "You can't specify target table 'k' for update in FROM clause" Could you please explain the error here and how can I achieve this ?
