  • Lighttpd check request headers in configuration

    Hi I was wondering if it was possible in the configuration of Lighttpd to read request headers, I've searched and searched.. apparently it's not possible. For example, conditional configuration based upon IP address: $HTTP["remoteip"] == "0.0.0.0" { // Do something } Is there something similar to check headers, for example: $HTTP["X-Some-Header"] == "Value" { // Do something } I'm thinking there isn't but thought I would post here as a last resort. Google didn't help much, and Lighttpd documentation would suggest this is not possible. Thanks Mike

    Greetings, In my Reporting Services report I've added reference to my custom library. It works fine. I can display the string which is returned from my custom library method as follows: =ClassLibrary1.MyClass.Parse("harry potter") Above code works fine - it should return SQL query based on passed parameters. My question is, how can I use this code in my DataSource. I'm trying to do something like this: SELECT * FROM =ClassLibrary1.MyClass.Parse(@searchedPhrase) But the above code does not work and the error is returned :"Incorrect syntax near ="

  • Cross-thread operation not valid: Control accessed from a thread other than the thread it was create

    I have a scenario. (Windows Forms, C#, .NET) There is a main form which hosts some user control. The user control does some heavy data operation, such that if I directly call the Usercontrol_Load method the UI become nonresponsive for the duration for load method execution. To overcome this I load data on different thread (trying to change existing code as little as I can) I used a background worker thread which will be loading the data and when done will notify the application that it has done its work. Now came a real problem. All the UI (main form and its child usercontrols) was created on the primary main thread. In the LOAD method of the usercontrol I'm fetching data based on the values of some control (like textbox) on userControl. The pseudocode would look like this: //CODE 1 UserContrl1_LOadDataMethod() { if(textbox1.text=="MyName") <<======this gives exception { //Load data corresponding to "MyName". //Populate a globale variable List<string> which will be binded to grid at some later stage. } } The Exception it gave was Cross-thread operation not valid: Control accessed from a thread other than the thread it was created on. To know more about this I did some googling and a suggestion came up like using the following code //CODE 2 UserContrl1_LOadDataMethod() { if(InvokeRequired) // Line #1 { this.Invoke(new MethodInvoker(UserContrl1_LOadDataMethod)); return; } if(textbox1.text=="MyName") //<<======Now it wont give exception** { //Load data correspondin to "MyName" //Populate a globale variable List<string> which will be binded to grid at some later stage } } BUT BUT BUT... it seems I'm back to square one. The Application again become nonresponsive. It seems to be due to the execution of line #1 if condition. The loading task is again done by the parent thread and not the third that I spawned. I don't know whether I perceived this right or wrong. I'm new to threading. How do I resolve this and also what is the effect of execution of Line#1 if block? The situation is this: I want to load data into a global variable based on the value of a control. I don't want to change the value of a control from the child thread. I'm not going to do it ever from a child thread. So only accessing the value so that the corresponding data can be fetched from the database.

    I wonder if anyone can help? After Google announced that it will take note of RDFa / Microformats for online recipes, I've been looking into this for a couple of recipe based sites I run. However we simply don't have all the required data to fulfill any of the standards. Does this matter? Will search engine crawlers still make the most of what they do find, or by missing a few elements (like a review or recipe rating) will I be wasting my time implementing this? Cheers, H

    Hi Everyone, I'm creating a subclass of UIImageView that detects touches, and will move, rotate and scale the image based on the touches. However, I really feel like I'm reinventing the wheel here, and it's driving me nuts. Shouldn't this already exist somewhere?     Hi I have quite a few points plotted in a figure. I am now using annotation() function to add annotation in the same way for these points based on their locations. See my previous question.     I did some research on Google but I couldn't find any HTML5 browser for Windows Mobile 6. The main resource I'm looking for in HTML5 is WebDatabase and/or localStorage. With a little research I found Iris (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-iris-browser.html), a Webkit based browser with some HTML5 features, but localStorage and Web Database doesn't work on it. Does anyone know any browser with storage capability for Windows Mobile 6?

    What are the best tools for monitoring incoming/outgoing requests from a PC or MAC? Any tool that works well on both? (my guess is N/A) I'm interested in capturing HTTP (possibly even TCPIP)-based requests and responses. Does Wireshark always come out on top or are there alternatives people feel are better?
