    I am looking for the abilities that Youtube's Chromeless player has to offer but for non-Youtube hosted videos such as Metacafe, Vimeo, Viddler, etc. Abilities I will need are : Mute/Unmute (toggle) Volume Loop Resize video dimensions Current play back position Load bar Can I use Chromeless player for videos hosted on other sites besides Youtube? If not is there a solution out there? If not, what languages/APIs would I need use and know to create such an application?

    I am using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder to stream live video to a video streaming server. The webcam is in our office pointed out the window. Thankfully, Flash Media Live Encoder has a checkbox to un-include audio. I am wondering how I can push a recorded message to the audio ( or music ). Is there any way I can play a recording and have it behave like a microphone?

I am impressed with the animation when the mouse is clicked and zooming into images from different angles.   • run a function when a user clicks on any list element

    This is probably a very common question, but I was unable to find an answer myself; All my list elements call the function setQuery like this onClick="admin_stats.setQuery(this);" rather than [hardcode] add this to every list element, is there a way to simply have it run when a list element is clicked? I'm not very familiar with jQuery Live or binding/unbinding, but I think they would play a role here? Before I reinvent a rather square-looking wheel I thought I might ask =)

  • Multiple flash video players on w3c-valid page is slow

    I have a web site that displays a column of flash videos. The page is w3c-valid. The problem is that the page loads very slowly and sometimes crashes my web browser. Until the page is fully loaded, the videos are slow to respond and play. Is there a way to make these videos load their preview images only? What should I do to speed the page up? The videos are 360x264.

    I have been working on a HTML5 project and I recently noticed Opera 10.60 supports audio tag perfectly but not latest version of Opera (version 11.00 build 1156). you may try with URL: http://moztw.org/demo/audioplayer/ with Opera 11.00.     I am going to have different classes for a character that a user play. Like "Mage, Warrior" etc. I am thinking of a method like have some CharacterBase class (abstract?) and then I have a child class which is like WarriorClass or something like that. I think the approach is called Factory pattern or something like that. Anyone got a clue of what I'm trying to achieve here, and are there perhaps any better way to do this?
