  Hi, I have here a function that downloads data from a remote server to file. I am still not confident with my code. My question is, what if while reading the stream and saving the data to a file and suddenly I was disconnected in the internet, will these catch exceptions below can really catch that kind of incident? If not, can you suggest how to handle this kind of incident? • Is there a way to export reports from Microsoft CRM4?

  I'm setting up a proper dev environment for my client (dev/qa/stage/prod). I'd like to find a way to export reports so we can cleanly move from one environment to the next. Custom RDL type reports are easy (just import the RDL in the next environment), but the reports that are built inside CRM don't appear to export anywhere. Am I missing something? Is this another feature that was missed? Apperciate the help.

  I am consuming various XML-over-HTTP web services returning large XML files ( 2MB). What would be the fastest ruby http library to reduce the 'downloading' time? Required features: both GET and POST requests gzip/deflate downloads (Accept-Encoding: deflate, gzip) - very important I am thinking between: open-uri Net::HTTP curb but you can also come with other suggestions. P.S. To parse the response, I am using a pull parser from Nokogiri, so I don't need an integrated solution like rest-client or hpricot.

  Hi again. I am using the next instructions to get some registers from my Database. This is executed from the Params_Model_DbTable_Param instance class, that depends from Params_Model_DbTable_Paramtype class (reference map and dependentTables arrays are fine in both classes) $obj_select = $this->select()->where('deleted_at IS NULL')->order('name'); // Execute the next query, applying the select restrictions. This returns a Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. This means "Find Params by Paramtype" $obj_params_rowset = $obj_paramtype->findDependentRowset('Params_Model_DbTable_Param', 'Paramtype', $obj_paramtype); // Here the firebug log displays the queries.... Zend_Registry::get('log')->debug($obj_params_rowset); I have a profiler for all my DB executions from Zend. At this point the log and profiler objects (that includes Firebug writers), shows the executed SQL Queries, and the last line displays the resulting Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. If I execute the SQL Queries in some MySQL Client, the results are as expected. But the Zend Firebug log writer displays as NULL the column values with latin characters (ñ). In other words, the external SQL client shows es_CO | Español de Colombia and en_US | English of United States but the Query results from Zend displays (and returns) es_CO | null and en_US | English of United States. I've deleted the ñ character from Español de Colombia and the query results are just fine in my Zend Log Firebug screen, and in the final Zend Form element. The MySQL database, tables and columns are in UTF-8 - utf8_unicode_ci collation. All my zend framework pages are in UTF-8 charset. I'm using XAMPP 1.7.1 (PHP 5.2.9, Apache at port 90 and MySQL 5.1.33-community) running on Windows 7 Ultimate; Zend Framework 1.10.1. I'm sorry if there is so much information, but I don't really know why could that happen, so I tryed to provide as much related information as I could to help to find some answer.

(default) ItemShowTreeList.Show(OpcSrv.ServerName); } In the above web method I need to pass the values to the built-in function ShowBrowseTreeList() (found in OPC, OPCDA, OPCDA.NET namespaces). This function takes the two parameter of windows form control type. These parameters are Treeview & ListView control of the windows form. In the above web method ShowBrowseTreeList() method automatically create the treeview & listview structure of the available items. Now as I am consuming the web service so I need to pass the values to the webmethod getOPCServerItems(). But as I my consuming application is asp.net application there is no such windows form control. In asp.net application there are also & control. I want to display The data returned in these asp.net controls rather than windows form control. I am not getting the way what should I need to do or how should I pass the values form my client application to this web service ? In the above method getOPCServerItems() when I use the parameter of type treeview & listview it generate s error "Cannot serialize member System.ComponentModel.Component.Site of type System.ComponentModel.ISite because it is an interface.". Can you provide me the the way In which I can write the above web method & how should I pass parameter to the Treeview & Listview control (windows form control) from my asp.net application ? which controls I should use to pass parameters ? Is there any need to do any type of casting ? Can you provide me the the code for above web method so that I can resolve the above issue ?

  I can't figure out why the client keeps complaining about the not finding the factory method. I've tried the IDL with and without the "factory" keyword and that didn't change the behavior. The SDMGeoVT IDL matches other objects used (which run successfully). The SDMGeoVT classes generated match other generated classes in regards to inheritance and methods. The IDL is as follows; The idlj compiler runs w/o error. I implement the function on the server and I see the server code run and serialize the object over the wire (the server code runs fine). The client bombs with the following stack trace (the first couple of lines is from the jacORB library). I've created a small app just to compile and test the code (ArrayClient & ArrayServer). The base app (from the jacORB demo) works fine. Let me ask it another way: How does WCF RIA Services handle authentication/authorization/security at a low level? e.g. how does the application on the server determine that the incoming http request to change data is coming from a valid client and not from non-desirable source, e.g. a denial-of-service bot?
