  • How to integrate wordpress with an existing php homepage ?

    I have already a site with a single homepage index.php which accepts 2 parameters like http://mydomain.com/index.php?param1=something&param2=somethingelse param2 can be optional I want to install wordpress on the root directory, except for index.php and the above url, I want wordpress to show the blog pages. How to do that either in PHP and/or htaccess ? (I'm very bad at htaccess so I prefer php).

    Excel seems to have a problem with doing math in SQL queries. SELECT ( SELECT sum(column) FROM table1 ) + ( SELECT sum(column) FROM table2 ) AS total This technique works completely fine in ASP and ASP.NET. Has anyone had success doing this in Excel VBA? (My database engine is SQL Server 2000.)

    I ran this using MySql and it appears to not like TEXT. With SQL server i use nvarchar(max) What should i use in MySQL?     I was looking at AppFog's Pricing and they appear to be giving 2GB of ram away for free, to nonpaying customers. This seems unprecedented for PAAS provodes--providers like Heroku and App Engine remove the app from memory if it has been inactive for certain amount of time. Does cloudfoundry work similarly? Am I wrong in assuming that in a few years appfog servers will be filled with inactive non paying applications?

    Hello Everybody, I've got a question regarding a SQL-select-query: The table contains several columns, one of which is an Integer-column called "size" - the task I'm trying to perform is query the table for the sum of all rows (their values), or to be more exact get a artifical column in my ResultSet called "overallSize" which contains the sum of all "size"-values in the table. Preferable it would be possible to use a WHERE-clause to add only certain values ("WHERE bla = 5" or something similar). The DB-engine is HSQLDB (HyperSQL), which is compliant to SQL2008.     I converted all mysql tables to utf-8_unicode and started using mysql_set_charset('utf8'); function. But after this, some characters like S, Ö started looking like Ö , Åž How can i replace this kinda letters in mysql with UTF-8 format ? shortly, can i find a list of all these kinda characters to replace ?     hi i just finished essential part of my own personal 2d engine in c++ and i'm kinda deciding how to complete the part where it is actually supposed to display everything on the screen, namely when do I call that function which does the job. I don't have much idea of how does the graphic card work, my biggest experience is calling bios graphic services to write some stuff on the screen. Could you give me a hint on this pls? Or maybe some keywords I should try to google?
