  This is almost a follow up of my last question. Now i have a splitview with a rootview / leftview that has a table and detailview / rightView that has some view controller pushed into it's navigationcontroller. So this is what i want to achieve: When i tap on a tablerow on my rootView , i want my detail view to push a viewController associated with that row... any ideas ? • Non-existent file in limbo prevents push to remote branch (Bazaar VCS)

  Hi! I use Bazaar VCS to version files locally on my notebook. When im in the office I merge the changes to a repository on a windows share and also push all the files there (for backup reasons). My Problem: The last push resulted in an error, because I added a file with a very long filename (I had that problem before ... python doesn't like long filenames). So I removed the file (I didn't need it anyway) and forgot about the problem for a while, because commiting still worked fine. The next time I wanted to push my new revision I got a new error: bzr: ERROR: [Error 3] Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden: u'//path/to/remote/branch/.bzr/checkout/limbo/new-8/loooooooongfilename.xls' translation: bzr: ERROR: [Error 3] The system can't find the following path: What I've tried: Deleting the limbo folder-- limbo folder doesn't exist Create the missing path with a dummy-file -- bazaar locks the branch -- unlock -- same problem as before bzr check -- Everything is fine -- No success bzr reconcile -- No success Thanks for reading ;o)

  Hi, I have list of 200 rss feeds, which I have to downloading. It's continuous process - I have to download every post, nothing can be missing, but also no duplicates. So best practice should be remember last update of feed and control it for change in x-hour interval? And how to handle if downloader will be restarted? So downloader should remember, what were downloaded and dont download it again... It's somewhere implemented yet? Or any tips for article? Thanks

• How to add request validation errors to ModelStateDictionary in ASP.NET MVC?

  Investigating the security of a system I'm building with ASP.NET MVC 2 led me to discover the request validation feature of ASP.NET - a very neat feature, indeed. But obviously I don't just want to present the users with the Yellow Screen of Death when they enter data with HTML in, so I'm out to find a better solution. My idea is to find all the fields that have invalid data and add them to the ModelStateDictionary before invoking the action such that they automatically appear in the UI as error messages. After googling this a bit it appears that no one have implemented this before which I find puzzling since it seems so obvious. Does anyone here have a suggestion on how to do this? My own idea is to supply a custom ControllerActionInvoker to the controller, as described here, that somehow checks for this and modifies the ModelStateDictionary but I'm stuck on how to do this last bit. Just catching HttpRequestValidationException exceptions does not seem a useful approach since it does not actually contain all the information I need.

  Hey guys, I have a WordPress site for a client. He owns a video store, and I made a site for him to update the list of movies, usually just the "new this week" movies. The Pod has a field where you insert the release date. 2010-04-20 Then there is a Pod page/template combo that calls the movies with a certain release date like this: $date = pods_url_variable('last'); He then just creates a blank WP page with the slug 2010-04-20 So when you open that page, the Pod page/template reads that slug and renders a list of the appropriate movies. My problem: I need these to be searchable. Is this possible. I'm also open to suggestions on other ways to go about making this site work. I need it to be as simple as that. Uploads some movies and creates a new page. Then the rest is done automatically. Please and thank you guys

I have been working as one for the last 6 months now after my graduation and I understand that most of the front-end skills are not taught at academia and the profession requires a lot of discipline and patience to learn them on your own. I see a plethora of opportunities for recent grads for back-end positions but very few for front end positions. Does the industry have an understanding that Front-End positions require more expertise than back-end positions? Just my thoughts but not many people seem to keen to hire recent grads for front-end positions.

• How to ignore/prevent javadoc folder from validation during Eclipse Build?

  In my war is a huge javadoc folder. There is no point in validating it since javadocs are produced by Sun(Oracle) javadoc utility. I have forgotten how I did it the last time. I need to tell Eclipse build not to validate that particular folder. Reasons why I need it: 1. the html produced by Sun javadoc generation utility does not meet the requirement that Eclipse uses - there is a bug report in Eclipse but Eclipse responds that Sun javadoc generator non-compliance is not their fault and that Eclipse intends to stick to their strict compliance. Which results in lots of html errors listed in the problems tab. 2. the javadoc folder is a remote link and high activity on that link is using up my cpu resource, and because it is a link to a remote location, that cpu high activity is sustained for long time until it finishes scanning the whole 35MB javadocs.   I have to do a Windows application that from times to times access a Gmail account and checks if there is a new email. In case there is, it must read the email body and subject (a simple text email, without images or attachments). Please, do not use paid libs, and in case of any other libs used, give the download path. And I need the email body and subject only. So if the long and complex message that comes from Gmail could be parsed and only two strings containing the subject and the body, it would be perfect. Finally, I only have to get the new messages arrived since the last execution. So the read messages could be marked as "read" and only the new ones (marked as "new") are considered. The code can be written in Python or C++, but I prefer it in C#. Thank you for the help.

  Let's say I have a screensaver website. I want to display the CURRENT top 100 screensavers on the front page of the website. What I mean is, "RECENT" top 100 screensavers. What would be an example query to do this? My current one is: SELECT * FROM tbl_screensavers WHERE WEEK(tbl_screensavers.DateAdded) = WEEK('".date("Y-m-d H:i:s",strtotime("-1 week"))."') ORDER BY tbl_screensavers.ViewsCount, tbl_screensavers.DateAdded This will select the most viewed ("tbl_screensavers.ViewsCount") screensavers that were added ("tbl_screensavers.DateAdded") in the last week. However, in some cases there are no screensavers, or less than 100 screensavers, submitted in that week. So, how can I perform a query which would select "RECENT" top 100 screensavers? Hopefully you have an idea of what I'm try to accomplish when I say "RECENT" or "CURRENT" top screensavers. -- aka. the most viewed, recently - not the most viewed, all-time.

  Hello, I need to write Hebrew text in Latex. I am currently working on Windows with TeXnicCenter. I was pretty happy with this tool, up until the time when I needed to write Hebrew text. My regular alt-shift just won't change the language (I even downloaded the last alpha version, which was supposed to solve the problem, but it didn't). So I'm looking for another latex editor for windows that will let me write Hebrew. Please advice. Note: I know that it is possible with Lyx, but I prefer a real Latex editor.

• iTunes Music Store Link Maker — how to search from within my app?

  I'm writing a music reference app and for each album (pulled from last.fm) would like to link to the ITMS (if the album is in the store). iTunes link maker web tool http://apple.com/itunes/linkmaker/ is great for getting links for a known album but I need to access it programatically from within my app. This NSLog blogpost which is from 2003 but was referenced more recently in another question here seems to offer the only solution I've come across so far, suggesting to submit a query to: phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/advancedSearchResults? Put "itms://" before it and the link will work in iTunes, put "http://" before it and the link will work in Camino (Safari sometimes spits back a malformed XML error). The tags that are of importance are as follows: songTerm - song title artistTerm - artist name albumTerm - album name composerTerm - composer name term - all fields The suggestion is that would using http:// rather than itms:// the server will return an XML document of results instead of opening iTunes but either way I am sent directly to iTunes. Is it possible to get back a list of results?

• HTML CSS two columns

  If my HTML says something along the following <div class="container"> <div class="element"> </div> <div class="element"> </div> [...] <div class="element"> </div> </div> is it then possible to align those elements as if they were in a two-column table? I.e. with 7 elements there would be 4 rows, with the last row only having one element. (The elements themselves have NO special classes or ids like right,left,etc.)
