• Sharepoint List redirect with new id

  I have a list within Sharepoint, using a custom new form i have added a custom list form control ("New item form" for the list) and changed the SaveButton to a standard input HTML button, and added an 'onclick' event that is as follows: onclick="javascript: {ddwrt:GenFireServerEvent('__commit;__redirect={NewFormWizard2.aspx?id=}')}" this works as in saves the data and redirects to the NewFormWizard2.aspx?id= page. the question is how do i get the ID of the created item to be passed to the redirected page? thus once the form is completed it would redirect to NewFormWizard2.aspx?id=23 Thanks in advanced.

  Hi all. In my jqgrid when i am clicking on add new record i have date field prepopulated with current date. Format of the date is yyyy-MMM-d (e.g. 2010-Jan-23). Date is required field and when i click submit button it fails validation and displays error that this date is invalid, and it wants Y-m-d format. How can i check my value with jqgrid? In other words how to make jqgrid accept the following date format when validating 2010-Jan-23? Thanks.

• How do you add a row to a databound datagridview using the datagridview in the gui?

  Hi guys, I've bound a datagridview to a collection of objects. It's giving me a null reference exception when I try to add a new row to a collection (empty or otherwise) using the gui. More specifically, when there is a write event it does this. How can I override the behavior of the write event and manually add all of the columns contents to the object collection? I could disable the add new row feature and make an add button, but the built in datagridview row add looks so much more slick.

  I want to create a login dialog by inheriting QDialog. I put in subclass named LoginDialog 2 QLineEdits: for login for password. I want to be able to warn the user with a message if the caps lock is ON while he will start to fill passwordLineEdit. Suppose I have a function that tells the current state of CapsLock button. So I want to do eventFiltering in LoginDialog class in order to understand that user starts to fill the password field (i.e. user just stepped into the password field) So for that purpose I wrote the following in the LoginDialog class constructor: m_passwordLineEdit->installEventFilter(this); So the only thing is to do is to implement a function which can understand that user is going to fill the password. • Magento: How do I retrieve values from fields submitted with the payment method?

  Ok. This is getting a little frustrating. I am trying to create a custom payment module for Magento. The purpose is to use Authorize.net's CIM so that we don't have to worry so much about PCI compliance. The issue I am having is that the users need to be able to access their previous credit cards and use those for purchasing. I have the previous cards being stored in the database. They are also being displayed in the form in the checkout process. My issue comes when I click continue after selecting the payment method. How do I get the values I submitted in the form? Specifically, the value of the radio button the saved code is attached to? I am not sure what if any code is needed for me to post, so let me know if you need anything in particular. Thanks.

Is there way to make the box extend up and down so that the dialog remains centered ? also if there was enough content then it could potentially go beyond the bounds of the page so I would think I could use a max height to prevent that but what do I do if they re-size the window ? thanks for any help

  Hi, The Problem: I would like to sort my posts based on custom fields, when the user clicks on a link. I don't know if there is a parameter that can be passed via url to reorder posts. Comparison: I would like it to work similar to how you can sort songs in iTunes. The user simply clicks the "Artist" button and the songs are reorder alphabetically by artist's name. Example: The custom field could be the location where I was when I wrote the post. "Location = home" or "Location = office" etc. When the user click a links the page is reload with the posts reordered. Posts from home before ones from the office. Thanks for the help.

• Handling dynamic data from javascript or rails

  I have page consisting of a calendar view ( http://code.google.com/p/calendardateselect/ ) as well as divs, each of which contain information about a person. In each div I want to have a link to a new controller and action, and pass the id for the person and the date selected in the calendar. I can think of a one way, but I'm thinking there's likely a better solution: 1) Do something like: =link_to_function "Week", "weekClicked(#{person.id})" Then in the weekClicked() javascript method I get the selected date from the calendar, such as: $('e_date').selected_date; then with javascript I could make a post request as mentioned here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/133925/javascript-post-request-like-a-form-submit 2) Or, is there a way that I could make each link a button in it's own form and maybe have a hidden field that gets the selected date from the calendar as or before the form is submitted? I tried this too, but couldn't figure it out. This definitely seems like it's more on the right track than #1. Thanks.

• Reset UITextField's original placeholder text

  I'm adding some user feedback mechanism into my app. The user types some comments into a text field and when that editing is done it updates a UITextView. Then when the user hits the submit button and moves on in the app the user may have need to send more feedback from the same form for a different item. I can reset the other fields and labels in the app to their default values when I hide the view, but not the textField (?). How can I reestablish the placeholder text next time the user accesses this view? Your suggestions are humbly appreciated.

  I want to do some kind of image editor, after I upload more images I want to make a list with all the thumbnails! After, I want to be able to click on one thumb and rotate, duplicate, drag and drop (to change positions of the images), and delete the image. I want all the images to be in a php array. If an image is deleted I want to delete the row from array too. If a image is drag-and-dropped I want to change the position in the array too. Ok, after the user uploads all the images and modifies some of them, how can I make a DONE button to save the positions of the images? For this small project how do you suggest I save the images? (to make a table in mysql and store the names of the images in the database depending on the session id? depending on the IP?) Any suggestions are welcome!

Now, when the user presses a button, not only the current listview but also other three listviews should be minimized and then user can just scroll just as in Gallery and select the listview that one wants to open. Simply put, I have to check if any of these buttons are checked: <input type="radio" name="id[1]" value="1"/ <input type="radio" name="id[1]" value="2"/ The problem is that jQuery('input:radio[name=id[1]]:checked').val() will select some function from the jQuery library. • Blackberry: Simulator stuck up launching through JDE 5.x

  Hi, When i try to build my project in Blackberry JDE 5.0.0.25. It built successfully. And then when i click on Debug menu "Go" button, simulator is launching and stuck up lanching itself forever, does't come up the simulator screen normally and visible with apps showing. When i built the same project in Blackberry JDE 4.7, it built successfully and then click on "Go", launched the simulator normally and showed the app to play with it. Could someone guide me what should be problem? Do i need to set any settings specific to BB JDE 5.x? I have just the basic hello world empty screen in my project, so don't provide any code here.   I have a RichTextBox that I write a string to every time I click a Form button. The string ends with a newline so each time I add a string, it appends to the bottom of the RichTextBox. Each string begins with the string "Long" or "Short" and ends with Environment.NewLine. I'd like to color each line red if it beings with "Long" and blue if it begins with "Short". How can I do this? The datagrid is bound to a datatable, not a class with object collections. Any help is appreciated!
