• Help need for openfast implementation

  Our stock exchange going to implement FAST messaging in their system in order to reduced the bandwidth usage. We have already implement the FIX based application to trade with Stock exchange. In future we need implement FIX FAST in our application to communicate with them. I found that OPEN FAST is FAST based library. But I do not have any idea how to start with it. I went through OpenFast web site but could not find much support on how to use templates and dictionaries. Can some one guide me or provide some resources to start with? Thanks in advance.

• How can I create an http handler to redirect all traffic to HTML pages?

  Our company would like to redirect all calls to html files on our server to a separate page. The html pages are NOT in an asp.net application. In order to do this, I've been writing and IIS Handler in asp.net. 1) Is this possible to add an IIS handler to redirect static content that isn't served by any asp.net engine, i.e. stand alone files on the server? 2) If it is possible, how do I do this? I created an http handler in a class library. In the app.config I added the handler to the and sections. I added the DLL to the GAC, I changed the html mapping to my custom IIS dll and nothing works. Is there a tutorial or explanation from A to B on how to do this? Thanks. E p.s. I'm using IIS 7.5

  Hello, I need to use a native sql query in Hibernate with use of variable. But hibernate throws an error saying: Space is not allowed after parameter prefix So there is a conflict with the := mysql variable assignment and hibernate variable assignment. Here is my sql query: SET @rank:=0; UPDATE Rank SET rank_Level=@rank:=@rank+1 ORDER BY Level; I can't use a stored procedure because my sql query is dynamically generated ('Level' can be 'int' or 'force'...) • Copy an array backwards? Array.Copy?

  I have a List<T> that I want to be able to copy to an array backwards, meaning start from List.Count and copy maybe 5 items starting at the end of the list and working its way backwards. I could do this with a simple reverse for loop; however there is probably a faster/more efficient way of doing this so I thought I should ask. Can I use Array.Copy somehow? Originally I was using a Queue as that pops it off in the correct order I need, but I now need to pop off multiple items at once into an array and I thought a list would be faster.

I am trying to do something like the following, and would like to avoid a temporary table, but the subquery will be drawn from a much larger dataset so it makes sense to only do it once..   I'm pretty new to using regexes and I can figure out how I would go about extracted a specific number from a string. Suppose the string was any amount of whitespace or random text and somewhere within it is this, "Value: $1000.00." In order to retrieve that value I am currently using this: string value = Convert.ToString(Regex.Match(BodyContent, @"Value:[ \t]*\$?\d*(\.[0-9]{2})?", RegexOptions.Singleline)); So the variable 'value' now has, "Value: $1000.00" stored in it. My question is, using Regex is there a way to use 'Value:' to find the number value but only store the actual number value (i.e. 1000.00) in the 'value' variable?

  Is it possible to use regex to turn this <site-ui:header title="error" backURL="javascript:history.go(-1);" /> into this <site-ui:header backURL="javascript:history.go(-1);" title="error" /> Basically, my goal is to format this xml so that the fields are in alphabetical order (e.g. backURL comes before title), and each field should be tabbed two spaces.   Hey folks, i have a large user Database (13k+), and for some reason i need to create random names. The users table has "first_name" and "last_name". Now i want to have 10 concats of full_name and last_name of two completely random rows. Is that even possible with SQL? My other idea was just to create a full_names and last_names table … but that would'nt be as much challenging. Oh, and it should not take up too much performance :) (so order by rand() is not an option ;))

(I have snipped off the project specific items.) I know that each todo will be quite tied up to its project and technologies used.   Hi, I am trying to read the xml document using XDocument method . but i am getting an error when xml has <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> When i removed encoding manually.It works perfectly. I am getting error " There is no Unicode byte order mark. Cannot switch to Unicode. " i tried searching and i landed up here-- Why does C# XmlDocument.LoadXml(string) fail when an XML header is included? But could not solve my problem.   Hi, I am trying to write two kind of Rack routes. Rack allow us to write such routes like so: app = Rack::URLMap.new('/test' => SimpleAdapter.new, '/files' => Rack::File.new('.')) In my case, I would like to handle those routes: "/" or "index" "/*" in order to match any other routes So I had trying this: app = Rack::URLMap.new('/index' => SimpleAdapter.new, '/' => Rack::File.new('./public')) This works well, but... I don't know how to add '/' path (as alternative of '/index' path). The path '/*' is not interpreted as a wildcard, according to my tests. Do you know how I could do? Thanks

  I'm trying to get the def wfsc_pod1 and wfsc_ip into the same def. I'm not quite sure how to approach the problem. I want wfsc_pod1 to display all the information for name, subnet and gateway. Then wfsc_ip shows the ip addresses below it. I also get a None value when I run it as it. Not sure why.   I am probably trying to accomplish too much in a single query, but have I an sqlite database with badly formatted recipes. This returns a sorted list of recipes with relevance added: SELECT *, sum(relevance) FROM ( SELECT *,1 AS relevance FROM recipes WHERE ingredients LIKE '%milk%' UNION ALL SELECT *,1 AS relevance FROM recipes WHERE ingredients LIKE '%flour%' UNION ALL SELECT *,1 AS relevance FROM recipes WHERE ingredients LIKE '%sugar%' ) results GROUP BY recipeID ORDER BY sum(relevance) DESC; But I'm now stuck with a special case where I need to write the relevance value to a field on the same row as the recipe. I figured something along these lines: UPDATE recipes SET relevance=(SELECT sum(relevance) ...) But I have not been able to get this working yet. I will keep trying, but meanwhile please let me know how you would approach this?

Removal includes ALL instances of the duplicated character (so if you find 3 n's, all three have to go), and original character order needs to be preserved. Example Input 1: nbHHkRvrXbvkn Example Output 1: RrX Example Input 2: nbHHkRbvnrXbvkn Example Output 2: RrX (the second example removes letters that occur three times; some solutions have failed to account for this) (This is based on my other question where I needed the fastest way to do this in C#, but I think it makes good Code Golf across languages.)

I have a tooltip that shows the picture of the product when you hover the product name, for some reason it shows above the name, but under other elements, like lines and other product names. • Creating a db driven primary navigation in django?

  I find that it's pretty common most people hardcode the navigation into their templates, but I'm dealing with a pretty dynamic news site which might be better off if the primary nav was db driven. So I was thinking of having a Navigation model where each row would be a link. link_id INT primary key link_name varchar(255) url varchar(255) order INT active boolean If anyone's done something similar in the past, would you say this sort of schema is good enough? I also wanted for there to be an optional dropdown in the admin near the url field so that a user could choose a Category model's slug since category links would be common, but I'm not quite sure how that would be possible.

• How to handle server-client requests

  Currently I'm working on a Server-Client system which will be the backbone of my application. I have to find the best way to send requests and handle them on the server-side. The server-side should be able to handle requests like this one: getPortfolio -i 2 -d all In an old project I decided to send such a request as string and the server application had to look up the first part of the string ("getPortfolio"). Afterwards the server application had to find the correct method in a map which linked the methods with the the first part of the string ("getPortfolio"). The second part ("-i 2 -d all") got passed as parameter and the method itself had to handle this string/parameter. I doubt that this is the best solution in order to handle many different requests. • Is a switch statment ok for 30 or so conditions?

  I am in the final stages of creating an MP4 tag parser in .Net. For those who have experience with tagging music you would be aware that there are an average of 30 or so tags. If tested out different types of loops and it seems that a switch statement with Const values seems to be the way to go with regard to catching the tags in binary. The switch allows me to search the binary without the need to know which order the tags are stored or if there are some not present but I wonder if anyone would be against using a switch statement for so many conditionals. Any insight is much appreciated.
