    I tried to install xquartz but gave up half way, so i'm trying to remove it and go back to X11. I followed all the instructions here: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X11-UsersFAQ But i think its not properly done, because when i try to start wireshark (which uses X), i get the following error: (wireshark-bin:846): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: Can someone help explain how i can ensure X11 is all set up right?

    Hi, I'd like to upgrade Vista home to vista Ultimate on my desktop computer. I have a MSDN subscription, which means I can download just about every microsoft software there is. However, there doesn't seem to be any vista anytime upgrade DVD available in the MSDN downloads section. Is there any way to upgrade using the regular Vista Ultimate installation disc without performing a clean install?

    i followed this article: http://www.enavigo.com/2012/01/04/enabling-oracle-oci8-php-extension-on-os-x-snow-leopard/ and im getting this error: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data. Anytime i try to connect to an oracle database using OCI8. I'm not sure that oci8 is install properly. Can someone provide steps for installation of OCI8 using Mamp Pro?

    Hello, I need to have at least one microphone on Windows to make Skype calls, but i have a VPS with Windows 2003 server with no audio device. I googled a lot and finally i found something called "Virtual Audio Cable", a tool to install virtual audio drivers ( http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html ). I tried many times but i couldn't get this driver work, so i'm asking if someone know a similar solution, i mean a virtual microphone or a way to make skype working without any microphone. We are trying to add a Standard 2008 R2 64 bit domain controller to the forest but for some reason during DCPROMO, we receive the following error: "to install a domain controller into this active directory forest,you must first prepare the forest using "adprep/forestprep" etc We went ahead an ran adprep /forestprep on our established domain controller and allowed time to replicate. When attempting to execute dcpromo again, we receive the same error. What gives?

    Howdy, I am looking to deploy LogMeIn to several clients. I am using LogMeIn Central with LogMeIn free. Central allows me to create an install URL to send to a client, but I want to create a GPO to deploy the LogMeIn to the entire domain of computers. None of the local users have local Admin rights to their workstations, which is why I want to deploy LogMeIn through AD instead of installing via the Deployment Link. Thank you, Keith

I read some where that if we right click on the file and in Properties-Security click the unblock option, this problem is solved but this is not working for me as I dont get Security tab in Properties.Please help!!
