• Hide jQuery Accordion while loading

  I am testing a site build with a slow connection and I noticed the jQuery Accordion stays expanded for a long time, until the rest of the site is loaded, and then finally collapses. Not very pretty. I was wondering how I could keep it collapsed through the loading process and only expand when clicked. I am working with the standalone 1.6 version of the accordion plugin. The basic structure : <div class="sidebar"> <ul id="navigation" class="ui-accordion-container"> <li><a class="head" href="#">1</a> <ul class="sub"> <li><a href="#">1a</a></li> <li><a href="#">2a</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> and the script jQuery().ready(function(){ jQuery('#navigation').accordion({ active: 'false', header: '.head', navigation: true, animated: 'easeslide', collapsible: true }); }); I tried to hide the elements in the CSS to keep them from appearing while loading but all that achieved is in having them always hidden. What i want to do is, all the info will shows off on the TextBox when the user click the button. The searching node will be based on the pid. Next button will adding 1 value of pid (let's say pid=2) and it will search on the node that have the same value of pid=2. it also will show the name for the pid=2. (showing name=abc) Same goes to the previous button where it will reduce 1value of pid (pid=1). • making html table columns optionally sortable

  I have an html table that is populated from a text file, formatted and semi colon separated. I would like the user to have the option of sorting alphabetically with either of the columns when clicking on the column name (header). How do I do this in php?? Or is there another way of doing this? Thanks for your help.   Different pages of my site have different js needs (plugins mainly), some need a lightbox, some dont, some need a carousel, some dont etc. With regards to pageloading speed should i option 1 - reference each js file when it is needed: so one page might have: <script type="text/javascript" src="js/carousel/scrollable.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.easydrag.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/colorbox/jquery.colorbox-min.js"></script> and another have: <script type="text/javascript" src="st_wd_assets/js/carousel/scrollable.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="st_wd_assets/js/typewatch.js"></script> option 2 - combine and compress into one site_wide.js file: so each page would reference: <script type="text/javascript" src="js/site_wide.js"></script> there would be unused selectors/event listeners though, how bad is this? • Slow performance with MVC2 DisplayFor

  I'm iterating through a collection on my view model. The collection contains HealthLifeDentalRates which implement IBeginsEnds. I have a Display Template BeginsEnds that displays the date range. This results in very slow performance. If I simply the date range (see commented code), it's fine.   Hi all, I have a strange problem with StateListDrawable or maybe (probably) I'm missing something. I created a test application for it and the same problem occurs. • Is this BlockingQueue susceptible to deadlock?

  I've been using this code as a queue that blocks on Dequeue() until an element is enqueued. I've used this code for a few years now in several projects, all with no issues... until now. I'm seeing a deadlock in some code I'm writing now, and in investigating the problem, my 'eye of suspicion' has settled on this BlockingQueue<T>. I can't prove it, so I figured I'd ask some people smarter than me to review it for potential issues. • Python: For loop problem

  I have a PSP page with html embedded. I need to place another for loop so i can insert another %s next to background-color: which will instert a appropriate colour to colour in the html table. For example i need to insert for z in colours so it can loop over the colours list and insert the correct colour. Where ever i try to insert the for loop it doesnt seem to work it most commonly colours each cell in the table 60 times then moves onto the next cell and repeats itself and crashes my web browser. After the user selects one of the options I need to find out what the selected value/label (will be the same) is so I can hit an update button and retrieve the data on that option.   I am having a constant trouble with pages not rendering correctly between FF and IE. not my code below. "Select an Account" should be next to the drop down such as: Select an Account Type: "then my form" however my form goes to the next line when I want it next to "Select an Account".   Hello everyone, I am using VSTS 2008 + C# + WCF + .Net 3.5 + Silverlight 3.0. I host Silverlight control in an html page and debug it from VSTS 2008 (press F5, then run in VSTS 2008 built-in ASP.Net development web server), then call another WCF service (hosted in another machine running IIS 7.0 + Vista). The WCF service is very simple, just return a constant string to client. When invoking the WCF service from Silverlight, I got the following error message, An error occurred while trying to make a request to URI 'https://LabTest/Test.svc'. This could be due to attempting to access a service in a cross-domain way without a proper cross-domain policy in place, or a policy that is unsuitable for SOAP services. You may need to contact the owner of the service to publish a cross-domain policy file and to ensure it allows SOAP-related HTTP headers to be sent. This error may also be caused by using internal types in the web service proxy without using the InternalsVisibleToAttribute attribute. Please see the inner exception for more details. • Problem passing variables in php form.

  I have the following php form. I am trying to make it so that when the form is loaded, the values will be assigned the appropriate check- variable. This variable will contain either "checked or "". If it contains checked, the way it is displayed with the html should cause the relevant checkbox to be checked. As it is, the variables do not seem to be being passed. When I echo out $deleted or $notice from within the submitinfo branch, they are blank. Furthermore, nothing is being inserted into the database, and I am not getting any database error. • How do I use data from the main window in a sub-window?

  I've just started working on a photo viewer type desktop AIR app with Flex. From the main window I can launch sub-windows, but in these sub-windows I can't seem to access the data I collected in the main window. How can I access this data? Or, how can I send this data to the sub-window on creation? I need to have items in ListBox just next to each other. I have tried changing ItemTemplate of the ListBox but it did not help.

  I have this data from a xml file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <words> <id>...</id> <word>...</word> <meaning>...</meaning> <translation> <ES>...</ES> <PT>...</PT> </translation> </words> This forms the table named "words", which has four fields ("id","word","meaning" and "translation"). On the other hand, the "translation" field can hold several languages like ES,PT,EN,JA,KO,etc... So I create a table ("words.translation", one field is "id" and the others ones are languages ids like "ES","PT",...). I'm sorry for this newby question, but I'd like to know a couple of things about this one-to-many relationship. How to join (or link?) this two tables in MySQL? What information does the "translation" field in the "words" table has to store? How is the sql query to get all the word information (JOIN syntax used?) Thanks for your patience.

• Dynamic positioning inside relative div

  I'm trying to get a color picker javascript widget working in a page with a bunch of "stuff" in it that I can't change. Some of the "stuff" is causing the color picker to appear well below the link when clicked. What actually happens is that "div 1" appears well below "link 1". If you remove position: relative; from the CSS definition for divMain, "div 1" is positioned correctly. How can I position "div 1" directly beneath "link 1" without removing position: relative;?

Is there a mistake in the code, or is there any better code to do this?
