  • Delphi simple TCP server hangs. The form freezes but the server continues managing the clients.

    I'm using a form with an IdTCPServer on it managing strings from the client with a AThread.connection.readln/writeln system. The string handling works and that isn't the problem. The thing is, the form with the server on it hangs and will not load, but it still managed all the clients connected to it so it IS running but it just doesn't work as a form. I'll make a guess that its sitting on a readline or something... but I have NO idea how i can fix this at this moment in time.   • WCF wrapper COM object

    I have a third party COM component (they don't offer a .Net assy), that has the additional feature that it only works under x86 compile. I am trying to wrap this in a WCF service, but if I select x86, the service won't start (System.BadImageFormatException). Any workarounds for this ? Thanks Larry

  • Referencing CDI producer method result in h:selectOneMenu

    I have a named session scoped bean CustomerRegistration which has a named producer method getNewCustomer which returns a Customer object. There is also CustomerListProducer class which produces all customers as list from the database. On the selectCustomer.xhtml page the user is then able to select one of the customers and submit the selection to the application which then simply prints out the last name of the selected customer. Now this only works when I reference the selected customer on the facelets page via #{customerRegistration.newCustomer}. When I simply use #{newCustomer} then the output for the last name is null whenever I submit the form. What's going on here? Is this the expected behavior as according to chapter 7.1 Restriction upon bean instantion of JSR-299 spec? It says: ... However, if the application directly instantiates a bean class, instead of letting the container perform instantiation, the resulting instance is not managed by the container and is not a contextual instance as defined by Section 6.5.2, “Contextual instance of a bean”.     General error: 1030 Got error -1 from storage engine the used storage engine is innodb the query was runned when i got it today morning was: SELECT feeds.* FROM feeds ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 1 i know rand() is bad but it's very small table (<500 records) and not loaded project this error i receive approximately once a day. cannot google anything relevant :-(

  • Problem with Landscape and Portrait view in a TabBar Application

    I have an TabBar app that I would like to be in landscape and portrait. The issue is when I go to tab 2 make a selection from my table then select tab 1 and rotate the device, then select tab 2 again the content does not know that the device rotated and will not display my custom orientated content correctly. I am trying to write a priovate method that tells the view what orientation it is currently in. IN viewDidLoad I am assuming it is in portrait but in shouldAutoRotate I have it looking in the private method for the correct alignment of the content. Please Help!!     Can anyone please tell me why this result is generation only one results? taking in mind that everything is set right and the three tables are populated correctly, i took out the group_concat and it worked but of course with a php undefined index error!     Hi all, I came across this issue or maybe something I didn't realize but I did a Begin Tran and had some code inside it and never ran a commit or rollback as I forgot about it. That caused all many of the database queries or even just a simple select top 1000 command were just sitting on loading..? Now it probably has put some locks on the tables I guess since it did not let me query them..but I just wanted to know what exactly happened and what are the practices to be followed here ?
