  • JSON parsing using JSON.net

    I am accessing the facebook api and using the json.net library (newtonsoft.json.net) I declare a Jobject to parse the content and look for the specific elements and get their values. Everything works fine for the first few but then I get this unexplained nullexception error " (Object reference not set to an instance of an object) Now I took a look at the declaration but cannot see how to change it. Any help appreciated: Dim jobj as JObject = JObject.Parse(responseData) Dim message as string = string.empty message = jobj("message").tostring The error occurs at the last line above.

    {exp:weblog:entries [args]} [content] {embed="path/to/sub-template" [args]} {/exp:weblog:entries} The sub-template only renders for the first entry, and the {embed} template tag is swallowed for all subsequent entries. Is there a way to make it render the sub-template for each iteration? Edit: stranger yet, if caching is enabled for the sub-template, it renders for each iteration—but, of course, the arguments on the embed tag aren't passed to subsequent iterations, as the sub-template is cached.

  • SharePoint 2007 Approval Workflow - Any other person can approve requirement

    How can I use SharePoint's Content Approval to enforce the rule that any two people in a group can make a change? We have a policy library that any two individuals can update (a modifier and an approver). If I do a group parallel approval, the modifier can approve their own work (I believe). Unfortunately, I don't have access to Visual Studio or even SharePoint Designer (as these have been disabled by corporate).

  • Can Drupal terms in different Taxonomies be synonymous?

    Let's say Taxonomy_A is associated to Node_Type_A Taxonomy_B is associated to Node_Type_B. AND Both Taxonomy_A and Taxonomy_B have a term called 'yellow'. Is it possible to make terms 'yellow' synonymous, so that if I'm looking at a list of 'yellow' stuff, I'm seeing content of both types (Node_Type_A, and Node_Type_B)?

  • sIFR load before rest of page?

    Hiya, Is it possible to have sIFR "preload" or load before the rest of the page content? At present it is the last thing to load (due to the text position) and as it's quite an obvious part of the page I get a huge mash-up of text replacement all in a quick flurry which is not very appealing. It looks like the site is having an epileptic fit. Once loaded, all is fine though :) Any work-arounds to the load-fitting? Cheers Hugh

    Hi I am setting up in app purchase where user can buy different Sounds. Once bought, he can play those sounds in the App. The Sound files are all present in my Resources Folder and I just keep a record(in a plist) of the files that have been purchased. No If I right click on the IAP file and see its content I can see the Resources, hence any one can have those sounds without actually buying them. Is there a protected Bundle or something?

  • Getting 404 when attempting to POST file to Google Cloud Storage from service account

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper syntax & formatting for a service account to send a POST Object to bucket request? I'm attempting it programmatically using the HttpComponents library. I manage to get a token from my GoogleCredential, but every time I construct the POST request, I get: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access denied.</Message><Detailsbucket-name</Details></Error The Google documentation that describes the request methods, mentions posting using html forms, but I'm hoping that wasn't suggesting the ONLY way to get the job done. I know that HttpComponents has a way to explicitly create form data by using UrlEncodedFormEntity, but it doesn't support multipart data. Which is why I went with using the MultipartEntity class.     I was trying to implement an image panner I found here Chrome renders the same document differently depending on the extension of the file requested.     Hello, I have this code in my .htaccess: Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^(.*)\+apple\+fruit/$ ?q=$1 [L] this turns the searchquery in /keyword+apple+fruit/ thats ok.. the only problem is, if I type in /keyword+apple+fruit +any+text+haha+ apple+fruit/ the htacces is showing content - but I don't want that. is there any command to say - ok apple + fruit only one time in the url and the second time send a 404 or show nothing.. thank you!!

  • Find a base case for a recursive void method

    I am doing homework. I would like to build a base case for a recursion where ordering given numbers (list2) in ascending order. Purpose of writing this codes is that when all numbers are in ascending order then should stop calling a method called ascending(list2, list1); and all values in list2 should be shipped to list1. For instance, list2 = 6,5,4,3,2,1 then list2 becomes empty and list1 should be 1,2,3,4,5,6. I am trying to compare result with previous one and if matches then stop. But I can't find the base case to stop it. In addition, Both ascending() and fixedPoint() are void method. Anybody has idea? lol Took me 3 days...   • Proper two-level iPad UITableView

  • Thoughts on streamlining multiple .Net apps

    We have a series of ASP.Net applications that have been written over the course of 8 years. Mostly in the first 3-4 years. They have been running quite well with little maintenance, but new functionality is being requested and we are running into IDE and platform issues. The apps were written in .Net 1.x and 2.x and run in separate spaces but are presented as a single suite of applications which use a common navigation toolbar (implemented as a user control). Every time we want to add something to a menu in the nav we have to modify it in all the apps which is a pain. Also, the various versions of Crystal reports and that we used tables to organize the visual elements and we end up with a mess, especially with all the multi-platform .Net versions running. We need to streamline the suite of apps and make it easier to add on new apps without a hassle. We also need to bring all these apps under one .Net platform and IDE. In addition, there is a WordPress blog styled to match the style of the application suite "integrated" into the UI and a link to a MediaWiki Wiki application as well. My current thinking is to use an open source content management system (CMS) like Joomla (PHP based unfortunately, but it works well) as the user interface framework for style templating and menu management. Joomla's article management would allow us to migrate the Wiki content into articles which could be published without interfering with the .Net apps. Then essentially use an IFrame within an "article" to "host" the .Net application, then... Upgrade the .Net apps to VS2010, strip out all the common header/footer controls and migrate the styles to use the style sheets used in the CMS. As I write this, I certainly realize this is a lot of work and there are optimization issues which this may cause as well as using IFrames seems a bit like cheating and I've read about issues with IFrames. I know that we could use .Net application styling, but it seems like a lot more work (not sure really). Also, the use of a CMS to handle the blog and wiki also seems appealing, unless there is a .Net CMS out there that can handle all of these requirements. Given this information, I am looking to know if I am totally going in the wrong direction? We tried to use open source and integrate it over time, but not this has become hard to maintain. Am I not aware of some technology out there that will meet our requirements? Did we do this right and should we just focus on getting the .Net streamlined? I understand that no matter what we do, it's going to be a lot of work. The communities considerable experience would be helpful. Thanks!! PS - A complete rewrite is not an option.
