  • Individual pst files for individual outlook 2010 folders

    I was wondering if it is possible for the following scenario: Suppose I have 5 folders in my Microsoft Outlook 2010. Currently, there are 1 pst file that contain the 5 folders. Each folders contain emails that are grouped according to the folder name. So, can I have 5 pst file, whereby 1 pst file for 1 folder? This is because at some other time, I will create new folder(s) and existing folder I may remove from Outlook (but still able to make a copy of the pst file)

  • How to prevent iCal from sending email

    For the past two years I have been using John Maisey's most excellent iCal Reply Checker to take control over iCal's aggressive notification emails. Sadly, it doesn't work in OS X 10.6. (John clearly states on his web site that it's for 10.4 and 10.5, so this is entirely my fault, not at all his.) Does anyone know another way to prevent iCal from sending mail? Thanks.

    I have a client which has all his mail on server outside of his company. Right now his exchange server (on SBS 2008 is configured using POP3 connector but problem is mail gets deleted from server when downloaded by connector. Is there a way to make pop3 connector leave emails on server (external one) and download them as well for use within Exchange. Client wants to "feel" exchange before making the move totally so he would like to play with it for longer while without loosing mails he has on his server.

When I moved it to my sever (running Nginx), it comes up with the following error for example when I try to create a new user. Net::SMTPAuthenticationError in UsersController#create 535-5.7.1 Username and Password not accepted. The nginx.conf file remains the same from when I set it up.

    I'm configuring CentOS 6.2 and have seen a few "[abrt] full crash report" emails. I understand that abrt is useful for creating crash dumps and what not, so I don't want to disable the service, I just would like to stop getting the crash report emails. I probably have to add something to the config file in /etc/abrt/abrt.conf. I can't seem to find anything in my searches. Any idea? Thanks. Edit: Here is my abrt.conf, which is rather simple.   • Thunderbird confused about EPS attachments

    Sometimes, when I receive (Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on OS X 10.5) emails with an EPS attachement sent from Mail OS X 10.4, I cannot open the EPS file. Thunderbird shows me 1 file, that can't be opened with any software but text edit. But, if I forward the email to myself, the forwarded email then has 2 files of the same name. One of the 2 forwarded files can be opened as expected. What can be wrong here?

    Hello, I'm looking for a software similiar to Windows Desktop Search or Google Desktop, that can also display results from our Intranet search engine in the same manner it displays regular results (files/emails/etc.). So far I managed to add Intranet search capabilities to Windows Desktop Search, but it doesn't show the results in the programs UI, but requires the user to press a "Search Intranet" button that opens the browser. Would be happy to hear any suggestions. Thank you.

  • Where are Microsoft Outlook 2007 mails located ?

    After a windows crash, I bought a new computer. I would like to recover the mails stored in the old install. I can access the old drive as a data disk, but windows won't boot anymore from it. I've reinstalled everything on the new computer, but can't find my old emails. Where are they stored ? Since I can't boot from the old drive, I cannot use Outlook's .pst export :(

Solutions such as this are not cheap, however, I believe they reduce complexity when it comes to administration and serves as a feasible DR type solution for emails as opposed to purchasing a new server for DR purposes.     I cannot sync my Outlook 2007 Inbox with my Windows Mobile device. The Inbox didn't show in sync setting in Windows Mobile Device Center. WMDC did show Calendar, Contacts, RSS Feeds and everything except Inbox. Using my mobile to receive emails ends with no error messages, but no email appears in the inbox of my mobile. What is wrong with Windows Mobile Device Center?
