  I use Google Chrome. I love the snappy and fast feeling. I thought I will miss the add ons of Firefox. But, not really. However, I used to use delicious actively and want to continue to do the same. I miss syncing my bookmarks with delicious. What is the simplest way to sync Chrome bookmarks with delicious? Addition: I see and understand that there are no good "add-ons" per se. I don't mind even a simple cron that I can schedule every day. May be I just have to write one, after all.

• Sudden restart now chrome kills computer

  My computer suddenly restart itself the other day and when it came back up so much as clicking on the icon for Google Chrome freezes everything. I uninstalled Chrome and tried reinstalling is but as soon as the download finished, the computer froze again. I tried installing an earlier version (about a week prior) and it froze differently but still froze. I am also getting notification that the battery needs to be replaced. At the moment I am running it sans battery and using firefox and everything seems to be fine. I have a HP dv4t running Windows 7.

  Let me just say thanks in advance. I am having issues getting google-chrome browser into full KIOSK MODE with no browser bar on a linux platform Looking through the google forums I have found numerous postings on how to get Chrome to show full kiosk mode BUT tried to execute with --kiosk but doesnt seem to get the job done. I dont know if this is platform specific or not, but any useful information would help. I know F11 will display the browser in full kiosk mode, with no browser bar BUT is there a way to do this with a linux script and no need for a monkey pressing F11??

• Google Chrome app file opened is not always in front, receiving focus

  On Windows Vista, I'm launching files associated with a Google Chrome "Application Shortcut" app by double-clicking them. While they will always open this way, they will sometimes not receive focus -- i.e. they sit in the task bar quietly but don't actually show in front on the screen (until I click on the app in the task bar again). Does anyone know how I can force the just-opened app to receive focus? The app being opened actually contains a web app I can customize, so I also have access to performing JavaScript commands post-startup. For background information, here is the regedit file I originally used to create the file association. Might well be this is a Google Chrome internal issue... apps I open with other editors get their focus alright, AFAIK. Thanks!

  Is there a way to add a custom button in Google Chrome? I hate all the "Send to Instapaper" extensions in the web store, and love how the bookmarklet works, but I can't stand not having a favicon. Ideally, I'd just add a custom button next to the spanner in the top right, but I can't figure out how to do this. Even installing a custom extension would be fine, so if someone can point me in the right direction for that, that'd be great. • Google Chrome freezing when I open Bookmark Manager

  I have an issue with Google Chrome freezing whenever I open the Bookmark Manager. Only that particular tab freezes, and I can still use the other tabs. No bookmarks appear, and I cannot type in the 'Search bookmarks' field. This seems to be related with my logged in profile. If I change profile, it allows me to login. I've also tried to login with my profile on different computers using Chrome, and it also freezes. However, I can still add bookmarks from the bookmarks tab. I just cannot use the Bookmark Manager. Any ideas what I can do? Is it possible to somehow export my bookmarks, reset the profile bookmarks (without losing other information like extensions etc), and re-import them?

• Fonts in Google Chrome messed up

  I recently installed new fonts on my computer that my friend sent me so I can use them in Adobe Photoshop. When I downloaded the ".zip" folder containing the fonts I unzipped the folder, pressed Ctrl+A to highlight all of the font files and then I right clicked and clicked "Install". That is how I installed the fonts. Now the fonts in Google Chrome are messed up. When I go on websites such as Stackoverflow, Facebook, etc. the fonts are different and look really odd. Random parts of text are bolded or italized, etc. I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome and Windows 8 Pro. I took 3 screenshots to show you what I mean.

  We have been running our qmail setup for awhile with no issues. One of our admins has moved to Google Chrome as his main browser and we have noticed something odd. No matter what, when he loads the vqadmin page it errors on him with simply invalid language file. Yet if he loads Firefox, Opera, Safari or shudders IE8 it works fine. Searching google only results in 'Use IE' or 'Set english as your language in the browser'. A: I try to have people avoid IE if possible and B: There is no english option in Chrome.

• Chrome pegs CPU playing YouTube videos

  I am not sure when this started, but the issue definitely exists in the latest version of Chrome (10.0.648.127). Playing youtube video at 320p essentially pegs the CPU. The process that kills is WindowServer which takes up the lion's share of the CPU. When I close the tab, everything goes back to normal. If I try this in Safari or Firefox, CPU usage is within acceptable levels. I am on a 2-3 year old MacMini, which is not the latest, but runs most apps fine. 1.83Mhz Intel Core 2 Duo. Is there a setting within Chrome I can set to fix this issue?

  Google Chrome keeps loading the second page of certain websites which is helpful on sites like Netflix so that instead of clicking on a link for page 2, I can just continue scrolling down and it'll automatically have the next page ready for me. But on online clothing sites, it just gets backed up loading all the next pages, misplacing links and loading the next page so that it actually replaces the page I'm trying to view literally every millisecond. Considering clothing sites generally have upwards of 20 to 200 pages of clothing, this is really annoying since Chrome tries to load all of them. How do I turn off the automatic page load???

• Chrome Java Plugin not working after moving Java installation directory

  I recently moved all my Java installations from C:\Program Files\Java to D:\Java, as my C:\ partition only had a few MB of free space left and windows kept on bugging me about it. I also edited every registry entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft that pointed to the old directory to now point to the new one. Then changed the PATH variables and removed the old files, did a restart, and all Java applications work just fine. Yet, Chrome is the only application that seems to have a problem with what I did, as the Java Plugin isn't recognized any more. Are there any registry entires I may have missed? Maybe in the Chrome registry? How can I make this work again?

  Some flash videos won't play in Chrome, while they play perfectly in other browsers. The player will load, but instead of showing a preview of the video and a play button on the middle of the video, the screen is black: Here's an example of a video that does not work and here is a video on the same site that does work. The video that works is a Youtube video embedded on the site with JW Player, while the nonworking one is probably hosted by the website itself. In both cases it is using Flash. The site is popular and others don't seem to be experiencing this problem. I am running Win7 64bit and I have no ad blockers installed. I have found two common solutions to this problem, neither of which work: Solution #1: Remove all flash application data. Solution #2: Enable and disable Chrome's built in flash and System's flash. Any suggestions?

  When I type in google chrome "google.com" I receive such error: 404. That’s an error. The requested URL /cgi-bin/authme?s=0.2068704296834766 was not found on this server. That’s all we know. It seems I'm redirected somehow by some reason. Probably lenovo notebook problem? At the same time IE works fine.   I'm using Chrome 21.0.1180.49 beta on Mac OS X 10.7.4. Did some Googling and can't figure this out. I visited a page on nypost.com earlier this morning. Just noticed that Little Snitch is reporting that nypost.com is being called every 4-6 seconds or so. I closed the tab after reading the story, a few hours ago. I created a rule in Little Snitch denying access to nypost.com, but Chrome is apparently still connecting to it. (1) Why? and (2) How can I put an end to this? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

  As a Mac poweruser, I often use Cmd + Tab to switch between applications. Tab is unfortunately close to Q, so I often end up jamming Cmd + Q as well by accident. On most applications, this isn't a problem; a popup appears confirming if I want to quit, and I just click "cancel." However, this isn't the case with Google Chrome. I checked "warn before quitting", and when I press Cmd + Q a box saying "Hold Cmd + Q to quit" pops up. But when jamming Cmd + Q while switching to Chrome using Cmd + Tab, it completely ignores the "warn before quitting" policy and quits immediately. Any way to fix this annoyance? Switching either of the shortcuts to something else would fix the problem, but I'm not able to find a way to do so.

  I dont know when it started to happen. The screen will turn into full black when a page include javascript (I think so). I cannot open Youtube videos, but I can still see the source code and the pointer to find links and buttons and I can hear the sound of video. • Syncing Multiple Google Calendars and with Outlook and Android

  Perhaps this is a multipart question, but I deal with a lot of calendars in my life, and want to know if there is some way to sync them all together, and maintain appropriate privacy. So I have a family calendar that my ex and I maintain for kid events, and I have a personal calendar for my own life, and I have an Outlook work calendar, for work. Ideally I'd look at my calendar on my Android phone. Is it possible to sync them all together? Is it possible for there to be one calendar to rule them all on my phone, but have the other calendars blank out spaces that are from other calendars, but only show the blanked out without the details. (I don't want my date with Miss Hottie to appear that way on the family calendar, and I probably don't want my visit to the proctologist to appear in the corporate exchange server.) Are there tools available to do this? Bonus question, can I do the same with my to do lists? Double bouns question -- how can I solve world hunger and help us to all live together in peace? :-)

• Programs still opening websites through Google Chrome, despite its removal

  Even after I've uninstalled Google Chrome, when other programs want to open a website (e.g.: Yahoo! Messenger getting a profile) they will still attempt to do so through Chrome, and fail looking for it. I've read all the advice on how to make Firefox or IE for Windows 7 the default browser. I don't think Google would do this sort of "hijack the default browser" thing and I'm convinced it must be a trojan or virus or even a registry hack. If so, any ideas on how I would go about fixing this without purchasing every virus/trojan program until it was removed? That method could be an expensive fix.

• Unable to Connect to just Google Servers

  I am in an extremely strange problem. I am unable to connect to just Google Servers. I am not able to access any site related to Google, Google.com | YouTube | Google+ | Webmaster Tools | jQuery CDN, nothing is working. I am able to open any other website (as I am posting this question on SuperUser), even the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) are offline. Please Help!! Update 1: Google DNS are back online, YouTube is back online. But website on domain google.com is not working (ex: play.google.com, maps.google.com, google.com/search, etc). Update 2: I am able to access Google.com (only) with (one of) its IP addresss(s) listed below: 74.125.227.41 74.125.227.46 74.125.227.32 74.125.227.33 74.125.227.34 74.125.227.35 74.125.227.36 74.125.227.37 74.125.227.38 74.125.227.39 74.125.227.40 Update 3: I consulted my friends nearby and they said that they are also experiencing the same problem.
