I thought I can compile only a single module from that multi module project by that line : mvn -amd -pl "module-name" Seems not to work , this command builds only the specific module. Its dependencies are not compiled yet so it fails. Any ideas how to solve that ? Thanks

No problem if the IDE makes it easy to work with constructs like String x = "CREATE TABLE TEST ( \n" + "A INTEGER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY, \n" ... What is the fastest way to paste a multi-line String from the clipboard into Java source using Eclipse (in a way that it automagically creates code like the above).

    I have a simple CMS site that was written in asp.net. My site looks like: www.example.com/ www.example.com/content/index.aspx www.example.com/content/get.aspx?id=234 (loads an article) It uses a database currently, but I am going to dump all the content to file, and then I can just pull the contents of the file based on the id=234 value. I want to move this site over to my ubuntu nginx server. What options do I have? Suggestions? I want to keep the URL structure exactly how it is now, how can I do this? Would this be any easier using apache?

  • Linux DNS Multi tenant

    I need to setup a multi-tenant DNS solution in Linux DNS Server. Currently I serve multiple companies: Company ABC, Company XYZ, etc... I need to create a) Forwarder zone b) Reverse Forward Zone. I can easily create a Forward Zone with domain abc.com The challenge I have is that each of my customer components share the same IP address. Hence If I create the Reverse Forward Zone I end up with something like this: abc.com 1.1.1.1 host.abc.com xyz.com 1.1.1.1 host.xyz.com If I perform a reverse lookup on host.abc.com it works fine...but if I do a reverse lookup on 1.1.1.1 I get a load balance response of: attempt: host.abc.com attempt: host.xyz.com attempt: host.abc.com Any ideas? I want to add logic to the DNS configuration to handle DNS reverse lookup based on source machine and respond with right hostname. Workaround: Create multiple DNS but this is not scalable.

    I need a way to login multiple users into windows at startup, in (XP/Vista/7) I need for each time windows starts, all registered users will automatically login and starts all apps in their startup folder under their own credentials. Any ideas how I could achieve this? i need a 'cheap' alternative to windows vps. lots of people need vps to run certain apps and leave it running. it's less likely they need full admin access other than installing those apps. instead of each users have their own vps running simple apps, it might be cheaper to have one multi-user server to accomplish this?

    I have my httpd.conf on fedora 8 that I am setting the virtual host file. Here is what I have: DocumentRoot "/var/www/html" <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None </Directory> <Directory "/var/www/html"> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> then below I am trying to setup a vhost to have multiple sites on the server: NameVirtualHost *:80 <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName kadence.tv DocumentRoot /var/www/html/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName nacc.biz DocumentRoot /var/www/html/nacc/ </VirtualHost> also in the /var/www/html/ directory I have the index.php file for the kadence site...when I do to either site I get the index for the kadence site...any ideas what I am doing wrong EDIT the full contents of my httpd configuration file are here.

  • WinSCP putting multiple files on sftp site

    WinSCP 5.2 I wanted to put multiple files with a file extension .pgp on an sftp site. When I tested my original command line (see below) and it only placed the first *.pgp alphabetical file (D:\a.csv.pgp) on the sftp site. I tried specifying *.PGP and *.pgp without any changes - only one file (D:\a.csv.pgp) would be copied each time. I got it to work for all files only if I specified a put command for each .pgp file. Any ideas on how to put all *.pgp on the sftp site?     If I am running farmanager with FarNet and PowerShellFar I can bring up a console of sorts by selecting F11 | .NET PowerShell | Editor Console. This console is based on the far editor. I can paste snippets of powershell scripts into this console and edit them. The only problem is if I want to use a multi-line function or control flow segment in the console. If I paste it in it has no effect. If I attempt to type one in I get an error similar to: ERROR: IncompleteParseException: Missing closing '}' in statement block. At line:1 char:42 + foreach ($number in 1..10 ) { $number * 7 <<<< + CategoryInfo : ParserError: (CloseBraceToken:TokenId) [], ParentContainsErrorRecordException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MissingEndCurlyBrace Is this simply a limitation of PowerShellFar?

    We have VMWare View 5 set up for a single tenant environment, absolutely brilliant and works perfectly. Two thumbs up there! We're looking at the possibility of deploying this in a multi tenant scenario, where multiple unlinked companies connect to a VDI solution hosted by us but have no visibility of each other. Obviously;y this could be achieved by doubling up on all the components, having a complete VMWare View stack for each tenant, but this seems a little bit messy. Has anyone done this before, and if so how? Googling sheds little light apart from this experts exchange topic.

  • Check_webinject plugin will not connect to https site using

    We're using Nagios to monitor some of our web sites. We have a script that uses the older plugin that we are trying to switch to using webinject.pl from cpan. When the script runs, it generates this error: LWP::Protocol::https::Socket: SSL connect attempt failed with unknown error error:1407741A:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert decode error at /usr/local/share/perl5/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51. It appears the web site does not support TLSv1 for https. If it matters, the site is a Cisco WebVPN. I've pointed the same script at a different site that does support TLSv1 and it seems to work fine. My web search is coming up empty.   • SSL certificate for ISAPI redirected Web Site

    I have a Win 2003 server and I'm using Ionics Isapi Rewrite Filter to redirect requests made to a Web Site configured in IIS to another Apache2 Server in a server not exposed to the Internet. The Web Site has its host headers configured to catch requests for the specific site, and the redirection is being done with the ProxyPass directive. This is working OK. So far the scenario, my question is: I'd like to add a server certificate to the Apache server, but I don´t know if I need to add the certificate to both Apache and IIS sites. I think I still don´t get the theory behind this and would like to know from someone with expertise in the field the right way to implement this. Thank you in advance.

  • site timing out when under heavy load

    My client sends out eblasts at 8am monday/wed/friday. Between 8:15-8:45 the site becomes extremely slow and many users sessions timeout. My setup: Mediatemple VE 2gb dedicated ram (3 burst) Ubuntu 9.10 Apache2-mpm-worker PHP5.3-fcgi MySQL 5 I recently tried to remedy the problem by switching from apache2-mpm-prefork to mpm-worker, but am still having the same issues. My apache settings are: Timeout 100 KeepAlive On MaxKeepAliveRequests 100 <IfModule mpm_worker_module> StartServers 12 MinSpareThreads 25 MaxSpareThreads 96 ThreadLimit 96 ThreadsPerChild 25 MaxClients 225 MaxRequestsPerChild 0 </IfModule> The site is only getting ~10,000 page views during the 8am-9am hour, which I dont think should be stressing the server too badly. Maybe it is an error with the PHP settings, or bandwidth per unit time, or the site outgrew the server? Any suggestions would be very helpful - as you can see i've given it a good go before looking for help (installed mpm-worker). Also, can anyone suggest to me some free load testing software, or a tutorial on mod_status? Thank you

  • Site Isn't Enabled When Apache Restarted and No Error Message

    I have added a new sites-available file but the site isn't enabled when apache is restarted. All the existing sites continue to work fine. There is no error message in /var/log/apache2/error.log There is the message, in the error log showing that I shut down the server and restarted: caught SIGTERM, shutting down There is nothing fancy about the site. The only special thing is the name is: domain_name.tv I can't imagine why that would matter, but at this point I can't imagine why the site isn't enabled or at least an error message given. Server running Ubuntu 12.04.
