    I have a Story entity with the following associations: Story <1-* Chapter Story <1-* Comment Story <*-1 User What is the correct way of removing this entity and handling the all the entities that is referring to?     I would like to create a delete_node function that deletes the node at the location in the list as a count from the first node.   • Conditionaly strip the last line from a text file

    Hello, I posted this yesterday on SO, and I received an answer that works great, but I need to change it around and I don't know how. Here is my original message: I need to strip the last line from a text file. I know how to open and save text files in C#, but how would I strip the last line of the text file? The text file will always be different sizes (some have 80 lines, some have 20). Can someone please show me how to do this? Here is the code that someone gave me to do this (which works fine) //Delete the last line from the file. This line could be 8174, 10000, or anything. This is from SO string tempfile = @"C:\junk_temp.txt"; using (StreamReader reader2 = new StreamReader(newfilename)) { using (StreamWriter writer2 = new StreamWriter(tempfile)) { string line = reader2.ReadLine(); while (!reader2.EndOfStream) { writer2.WriteLine(line); line = reader2.ReadLine(); } // by reading ahead, will not write last line to file } } File.Delete(newfilename); File.Move(tempfile, newfilename); File.Delete(tempfile); How would I change this to only delete the last line of the text file if it is a 4 or 5 digit string (such as 8001 or 99999). If it is anything other than that, such as a %, then I don't want to delete the last line. Can someone please modify the above code to do this for me? Thanks so much.

  • How to remove iso 9660 from USB?

    I have somehow managed to write an iso 9660 image onto my USB drive, which makes all my computer think that the device is actually a CD. I have tried various methods of removing this partition, but nothing seems to work. I have tried fdisk, which says $ fdisk -l /dev/sdb Cannot open /dev/sdb parted crashes when I try to use it on this device. I have even tried $ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb but it just hangs with no output (either on screen or on disk). However, when I plug the USB in, it does mount, and I can view (but not edit) the files on it. edit: now the result is $ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb dd: opening `/dev/sdb': Read-only file system I have also tried re-formatting it on Windows, but it gets to the end of the format process and then says "Couldn't format the drive". How can I remove this partition and get my whole USB drive back to normal again? EDIT 1: Trying a simple mkfs doesn't work: $ sudo mkfs -t vfat /dev/sdb mkfs.vfat 3.0.0 (28 Sep 2008) mkfs.vfat: Will not try to make filesystem on full-disk device '/dev/sdb' (use -I if wanted) I can't do mkfs on /dev/sdb1 because there is no such partition, as shown:$ ls /dev | grep sdb sdb EDIT 2: This is the information posted by dmesg when I plug the device in:$ dmesg . .     My flash USB is write protected and I've tried every possible methods I've encountered over the internet, to get rid of this. Accessing the usb is not working. Format from my computer, is not working. Clear attributes with DiskPart is not working (can't be cleaned, Current Read-only State is Yes but Readonly is set to false... With Disk Management, I can't delete the partition... Is there any other method... With a specific software or somehow? Edit : I tried this on Windows 8.1.

    i want to show text using quartz 2d. Text will be drawing randomly on different position after each 1 seconds. I am not sure how i can use NSTimer with quartz 2D text. I can draw text in drawRect method where graphics context is already available. How i will draw text using my custom method myDraw which will be called after 1 second using NSTimer? If i create my custom Method the graphics context is not available in that method.
