    How do I remove duplicate characters and keep the uniq one only. Ex. My input is EFUAHUU UUUEUUUUH UJUJHHACDEFUCU Expected output is EFUAH UEH UJHACDEF I cam across perl -pe's/$1//gwhile/(.).*\/' which is wonderful but it is removing even the single occurence of the character in output.     I just followed How to use Group Policy to remotely install software in Windows Server 2003 to try publishing a software (MSI file). I could follow all the steps, but the supposedly successfully published software does not appear on client/user machine's Add/Remove Programs. Could some help figure why this may not be working.     I am working on a project that runs in Chrome in full-screen mode and displays data that can be edited and interacted with. It makes AJAX calls(using jQuery) frequently that cause a loading notification in the lower left-hand corner on the bottom of the screen to pop up. These notifications are distracting when you are viewing the display and I would like to remove/prevent Chrome from displaying these loading notifications at all. Is it possible to prevent these notification by any means, or perhaps even mask the javascript that causes these notifications?
