  I am trying to automatically verify certain conventions, such as label/table column header text (Sentence Case, use of colons, etc). It would be nice if there was a way in FlexUnit, or other means, to Iterate over all views in the app Get all titles, labels, column headers Run some pattern checks and fail where needed. Does anyone have a suggestion on what the best way would be to achieve that? I suppose I could do this on a code level on the MXML files, but it would be nicer if it could be integrated into the overall unit test suits. Thanks for any suggestions

  Hi, I am using "networkActivityIndicatorVisible" in UIApplication for showing network spinning gear in status bar if my WebView( I am setting "networkActivityIndicatorVisible = YES" in "webViewDidStartLoad" and reseting in "webViewDidFinishLoad" ) is busy. It works fine for single UIWebView. For Multiple UIWebViews i have used a "stack" to trace which webview is busy and which one is idle and it is working fine. My question is there is any way to know whether an application is busy or idle in application level(in UIApplication) instead of checking each webview so i can remove stack. Thanks.

  Hello, I have a situation where I'd like to set an onload handler for a script element, but it is possible that the script element has already loaded before I do so. If it's already loaded, I'd like to detect that and run my handler immediately. What would be a reliable way of checking a script element's onload state after the fact? BTW I know that IE uses readyState instead of an onload event so I don't need help for that.

  Hi All, I've scoured the Internet but my search-foo must not work if it's out there cause I just can't find the proper search terms to get me the answer I am looking for. So I turn to the experts here as a last resort to point me in the right direction. What I'm trying to do is create a composite control of a text box and a list box but I want to allow the control consumer to decide what to do when say the checkbox is checked/unchecked and I just can't figure it out... Maybe i'm going about it all wrong. What I've done thus far is to: create a custom control that extends ListBox expose a custom DP named "Text" (for the Text box but it's not the important part) craft the generic.xaml so that the list items have a default ItemTemplate/DataTemplate inside the DataTemplate I'm trying to set the "Checked" or "Unchecked" events expose 'wrapper' events as DPs in the custom control that would get 'set' via the template when instatiated As soon as I try something like the following (inside generic.xaml): <DataTemplate> <...> <CheckBox Checked="{TemplateBinding MyCheckedDP}"/> <...> </DataTemplate> I get runtime exceptions, the designer - vs2010 - pukes out a LONG list of errors that are all very similar and nothing I do can make it work. I went so far as to try using the VisualTreeHelper but no magic combination I could find would work nor would it allow me to traverse the tree because when the OnApplyTemplate method fires the listbox items don't exist yet and aren't in the tree. So hopefully this all makes sense but if not please let me know and I'll edit the post for clarifications. Thanks to all for any pointers or thoughts... • VS C++ throwing divide by zero exception after a specific check

  In the following C++ code, it should be impossible for ain integer division by zero to occur: // gradedUnits and totalGrades are both of type int if (gradedUnits == 0) { return 0; } else { return totalGrades/gradedUnits; //call stack points to this line } however Visual Studio is popping up this error: Unhandled exception at 0x001712c0 in DSA_asgn1.exe: 0xC0000094: Integer division by zero. And the stack trace points to the line indicated in the code. It seems like VS might just do this with any integer division, without checking whether a divide by zero is possible. Do I need to catch this exception even though the code should never be able to throw it? If so, what's the best way to go about this? This is for an assignment that specifies VS 2005/2008 with C++. I would prefer not to make things more complicated than I need to, but at the same time I like to do things properly where possible.

  I've got a Site.Master file I've created to be my template for the majority of the site, with a navigation. This navigation is dynamically created, based on a recursive Entity (called Page) - Pages with a parentID of 0 are top level, and naturally each child carries it's parent's Id in that field. I've created a quick little HTML Helper that accepts the ID of an Page and generates the nav by doing a foreach on the children that have a parentId matching the passed Id. On the majority of the site, I want the Site.Master to use a parentId of 0, but if I'm on a strongly typed View displaying a Page, I naturally want to use the Id of the page. Is there a way to do such conditional logic in a Site.Master (and, does that violate MVC rules)? "If I'm on a strongly typed Page of /Page/{Id}, use the Id render nav, else use 0"

When user establishes connection to mysql server I want to know whether the user have privileges like root (i.e. GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON .
