  • Android - show webview in same tab containing a list

    I am using a TabWidget that contains a List in one tab. What I want to do is when a user selects an item, a webview is shown in that tab. If the user then wants to go back to the list, they would click on the list tab. I can get the webview up that replaces the whole tabwidget but don't know how to leave the tabs and show a webview. Any help greatly appreciated

  • Problem with the way the Ajax Control Toolkit tab control sets the default submit button

    We have a tab control containing some textboxes for doing a search. When you keypress inside one of the textboxes, the tab control sets the default button to be the button immediately following the tab control. This is fine because that's the search button. The problem occurs after the button is clicked and results returned. Now there is no default button, and keypress does nothing. Any suggestions?

    I have a TabHost and several tabs added to it. Problem: The activities on these tabs are not created until the tab is pressed. My tabhost is broadcasting intents but my broadcast receivers are not registered until onCreate in my tab activities is called. Is there any way to force activity creation? Maybe my tabhost can call setCurrentTab and switch back to main tab(0), but is that really the best option available?

  • Combining a content management system with ASP.NET

    I am going to be creating a site that seems like it requires a blend of a content management system (CMS) and some custom web development (which is done in ASP.NET MVC). I have plenty of web development experience to understand the ASP.NET MVC side of the fence, but, I don't have a lot of CMS knowledge aside from getting one stood up. Right now my biggest question is around integrating security from ASP.NET with the CMS. I currently have an ASP.NET MVC site that handles the authentication for multiple production sites and creates an authentication cookie under our domain (*.example.com). The page acts like a single sign on page since the cookie is a wildcard and can be used in any other applications of the same domain. I'd really like to avoid having users put in their credentials twice. Is there a CMS that will play well with the ASP.NET Forms Authentication given how I have these existing applications structured? As an aside, right now I am leaning towards Drupal, but, that isn't finalized.

  • Can't select anything for build definition process tab

    I am trying to create a build definition, specified the build definition name inside the General tab, specified the trigger, the workspace, the build controller that I want to use, the drop folder as a network shared location, the retention policy but when I go to the Process tab I can't select anything. Does anyone knows why I can't select anything inside the Process tab, it looks like it is not enabled, can't press Show details because is not enabled. Thanks!

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 1 layout problems

    I'm having trouble running my app on the Galaxy tab original 7". It appears to make everything 1.5 times bigger, i.e. if I specify 40dip for a textSize in my layout, it will display as 60 dip when I run it on the tablet. I tried messing around with the display metrics and changing the density and densityDpi to 1. (When I run a toString of the display metrics in the Galaxy tab 2, they are both 1, whereas the Galaxy tab 1 has values of 1.5) The app runs very well on every phone I've tested it on, and on the Galaxy tab 2, so I can't figure out what the problem is. I even tried creating a dummy app with just a textView with a size of 40dip, and it still converted it to 60. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi, What are the best free CMSs or CMS plugins or ERPs or any other free tools available for developing a hospital management system? I want to develop it for a children's hospital run by my father. The hospital is small with two doctors. Currently, everything is done manually on paper. The main entities who will be using the system are: Receptionist, the two doctors, chemist and the medical laboratorist. They will use it majorly for keeping the records of the patient. The patients would not be interacting with the system directly. The system needs to be user friendly and should be easy to learn. I was thinking to develop such a system using a CMS or an ERP or any other free tool. I have used wordpress/drupal in past but never used an ERP.   • IPhone iOs 5, need help getting my tab bar at the top to work

    I wanted to have the tab bar at the top. So i created a new project in XCode. Added a view and then inside that view i added (scrollbar, text and another view). See picture. What i wanted was to have my tab bar at the top. Then in the middle would be the contents from the tab bar and below it a small copyright text. See picture. No idea how to make this correctly. I have tried to create the UITabBarController on the fly and then assign it into the view at the top. (Top white space on the picture dedicated for the tab bar).     Hey guys, I'm rewriting my game now using software designing patterns and want to do the code, most correct I can. While implementing MVC(Model View Controller) I got a question which I would like to discuss or to hear some opinions of experts. The question is about management of unused frames... For example next sequence of windows: ResourceLoadingWindow - LoginWindow - GameWindow Definetly that I don't want to reuse ResourceLoadingWindow , since I'm using Java Applet and I don't see any situation when I will need to reuse it. The different story is about LoginWindow, which can be reused a lot of times, because some player would want to Logout and come back again in few minutes for example. I would like to know, following the MVC structure, should I destroy window, removing it from ContentPane or just hide? Maybe I need to unregister it from controller or I shouldn't do so?   • Load all tab bar views when application first runs

    Here's the problem. I have a tab bar controller with 4 separate views. When I navigate from the first view to the second view, it takes some time to load up the second view. What I want to do is be able to load and initialize all of my tab bar views during my splash screen. That way, when the user navigates between the tab views, there is no wait time. So the question is... how do I manually initialize my individual tab bar views in my app delegate? And once again, thank you stackoverflow!

    Hi, I have a layout which requires a tab widget containing two tabs. Ideally I'd like to have each tab just be a completely flat colored rectangle, side by side. Almost exactly like the buttons you see at the top of this web page titled: "Questions" | "Tags" | "Users" | "Badges" | "Unanswered" but without the whitespace in between. I'd like to have the highlighted tab have a brighter background color. Is this possible using the tab widget? I know in 1.6+ there's a method to specify a view for the tabs themselves, but can I achieve this tight look, or should I just roll my own? Thanks
