  • Problems Installing Eclipse and Ruby Plugin

    I installed Eclipse on my Ubuntu machine and then the Ruby Development Tools (RDT), but it would crash when I try to alter certain features, like having line numbers, how far back to have history, and the code coloring scheme didn't work fully. I decided to try to uninstall Eclipse by doing sudo aptitude remove Eclipse and then sudo aptitude install eclipse but instead it installed it back with the broken Ruby plugin. I also tried aptitude purge but that didn't help either. How can I freshly reinstall Eclipse and get a properly working Ruby plugin?

  • FTP a text file to a server using VBA in Excel

    I have an Excel worksheet where the user enters certain data, which I want to store in a text file and upload to a server using FTP. One site suggested adding a reference to "Microsoft Internet Transfer Control" and then define an "Inet" object to do the FTP. However, I am unable to find a reference with this name in "Tools - References" in the VB Editor. Does anyone know of a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance.

    Using [NSScreen screens] I'm able to get all of the screens attached to the computer and their sizes, however I'm trying to find out their positions relative to each other (like in Arrangement in the Display preferences).     Please, have a look at: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/base-css.html There are many examples like this one: if you look closer to the block borders, you can see that the gray block is under the white one. Using the browser's developer tools you can see that both boxes have an inherited z-index: auto; I can't reproduce this effect on my website (without using z-index). So, my question is: Why is the gray block under the white one?

I am trying to style a progress bar using CSS in a JSP page but get this error when using chrome's developer tools: Resource interpreted as image but transferred with MIME type text/plain. <%@ include file="../include/css/default.css" % And in the CSS file: background:url(../images/bg_bar.gif) no-repeat 0 0; Could anyone explain why this is and show how I can use this CSS in my page?

We decided to use another statistics plugin which can connect to a different database server (the first plugin couldn't!) however we need parts of the first plugin. I want to lock the statistics table to prevent misusage (not allowed to drop it by the developer) So I was wondering if a lock table could do this or if I can implement some sort of read only table

  • iPhone app not running on iPhone

    I have my iPhone setup on my computer at home, with my developer account and provisioning profile. I'm trying to get it setup on my work computer so I can run work apps on it as well. My work has their own dev account. I created an app ID and privisioning profile on my personal account and downloaded it on my work computer but its not letting me compile and run on my iPhone. It says valid provisiong profile not found on executable.
