  • Save open emails when exiting Outlook 2007?

    I use open emails as my todo list in Outlook 2007. For instance, when I look at my Inbox in the morning, I open all emails which I need to respond to, and throughout the day read, respond to and close each one. It's an odd system but it's how I manage my emails. Are there any addons available which will save open emails and reopen them if Outlook is restarted? I'm looking for behavior like Firefox's tabs, which will reopen each one if the process gets killed.

  • Extended desktop problem

    I'm a little embarrassed I can't seem to fix this issue: Running a Dell D630 laptop with a VGA to an external monitor. Every time the computer goes to sleep the Dualview setting reverts to single display. I click the Nvidia dualview setting again but the external monitor remains black screen. The only way I can get it working again is to restart :(. What's going on here?? thanks yall //sw

In other cases we need to switch between Mac and PC platforms. We would also like to be able to throw up slides or other information to screens which are not being used. But, in a network consisting of a single Blade Enclosure containing two or more Blade servers, whats the closest approximation to a DMZ that could be designed? More details: Virtual servers, mostly Windows, running in a VMWare environment on the Blade servers, and physical firewall box between the Blade enclosure and the internet.

    I'm trying to generate a username using a single name field in excel which has the person's first name and last name. I'm open to what the username would be, as long as its intuitive for the user.     In oVirt (Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization) you can create a Virtual Machines Pool to allow your users to retrieve virtual machines from this pool. I found how a user, in the RHEV User Portal, can request a Virtual Machine from the pool, this is explained here: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.0/html/Evaluation_Guide/Evaluation_Guide-Allocate_VM.html The thing is that i will need to retrieve virtual machines from the pool with the REST API and, after reading the documentation (https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.0/html-single/REST_API_Guide/index.html) I cant found the way to do this.

  • How do I force my Graphite Airport to distribute 192.168.x addresses instead of 10.x.x addresses?

    I'm sharing a single IP address but there's no way to change what network it uses for distributing the private addresses via DHCP. My problem is that my VPN to work already uses the 10.x.x network, so I'd like my home to use 192.168.x. I've tried messing with the Network tab within the Airport Admin Utility for Graphite and Snow but nothing works. I'm hoping there's some way to hack the configuration file.

Here's the error I'm getting: The TCP/IP connection to the host <instance_name>, port 1433 has failed. Error: Connection refused: connect. Is the firewall blocking my access or what? Should I dedicate a different port for this application?

    So I bought a Cyborg RAT 7 mouse a while back, and I love it, except for one thing: it's not automatically selecting the profile for the game I've just started. This is annoying because, for instance, I have the forward and back buttons, as well as the side scroll set up for weapon selection in some games, and if the proper profile isn't selected before starting the game, none of it works. How can I get my mouse to load the proper profile when I start up a game?

    Hi, im very new to this. I've set up an account "SQLBOX" thats on the a network, but not connected to the domain. I have installed an instance of SQL Server 2008 and am trying to connect to it from another machine on the network but am getting "Cannot connect to "SQLBOX"". From the "SQLBOX" i can connect to sqlservers on the domain, but not vice-versa. Any help would be grately appreciated. Sorry if the description isn't great. Thanks

(for anyone that knows AutoCAD, I want XREF abilities in Word) Essentially I have a custom "header" that I want included in a whole pile of documents... that all reference a single file... such that if my address, logo, tagline, phone, fax or email changes, I update the one file, and all of the other 101 files that use it automatically update when I next open/use them.     I regularly plug my Macbook Pro into a network at work, but because of the way Mac networking works, my computer's name instantly becomes available to any other Mac on the network. Is there a way to hide my computer's name so that I do not appear on the network list of other people's computers? Also, can I set this up so as a network specific profile? For instance, I would like my computer's name to show up on my home network, but not my work network.

    I'm looking for a mechanism within notepad++ to replace runs of consecutive whitespace with a single space, like the "Compress whitespace" command in notepad2. Essentially, in regex form: s/\s+/ /g I know I can do it with the find-replace form, but I would prefer soemthing that I can bind to a keyboard sequence. EDIT Find and replace cannot be recorded as a macro in some versions of Notepad++. Update to the latest if you have trouble.

    I've tried to copy text from Vim window to somewhere but it doesn't work. Decisions which I've found with google didn't help too. For instance, using the registers "* and "+. Command vim version is (Ubuntu 12.04. Vim 7.3): vim --version | grep clipboard -clientserver -clipboard +cmdline_compl +cmdline_hist +cmdline_info +comments -xterm_clipboard -xterm_save Can you help me to solve it?
